Tourist Visa

Note: It should be noted that personal presence of the Applicant is compulsory for visa application.
Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the declared exit date from Ukraine. In case considerable grounds are presented the said requirement may not apply. The passport must have at least two spare pages and should not have been issued more than ten years ago.
One Visa form (Photocopy not permitted).
Two passport-size photographs.
A short-term visa application should be enclosed with one of the following documents:
Standardized invitation of a person or entity issued by the regional body or by the state division of the Immigration Service of Ukraine.
Invitation from the ministry, other central executive authorities, state institutions, enterprises or organizations.
Documentary proof confirming family relationship with a citizen of Ukraine or a foreign citizen or stateless person that has permanent or temporary residence permit (such as a marriage certificate or birth certificate).
Certificate of the Person of Ukrainian origin and his/her application along with the results of the interview with the Ukrainian diplomatic or consular staff and evidence for Ukrainian ethnical descent or Ukrainian origin of the foreign citizen or stateless person. The spouse and children of the person of Ukrainian origin, if traveling and staying in Ukraine together, they have to submit an application and provide documents authenticating family relationships.
Documentary proof confirming the nature of travel is tourism in accordance with “the Ukrainian Law On Tourism”.
Invitation from a Ukrainian medical treatment facility.
Document confirming that the person is a co-founder of a joint venture or a company (firm, association etc.) ambassador and that he / she travels to Ukraine to monitor the performance of contracts.
Confirmation from the Committee on Humanitarian Aid of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the entry of the foreign citizen or stateless person for the purpose of providing humanitarian aid or charity.
Invitation from a duly registered religious organization attested by the Ministry of Culture, for short-term stay in Ukraine for religious matters.
Petition from the head of a foreign mass media for a foreign correspondent or representative of a foreign media who travels to Ukraine for short-term stay to perform his/her professional duties.
Documentary proof of petition from state authorities of foreign states or international organizations.
Photocopy of OVERSEAS medical insurance policy + REPATRIATION, evacuation cover. Applicant is requested to carry his / her original insurance for verification at the time of submission of visa application form.
The Ordinary visa processing time period is from 3 to 15 working days.
The Express visa is processed within 2 working days from the day of submission; however the cost will be double of the price.
Visa Application form should not contain any corrections related specifically to the name, passport details of the applicant, dates of proposed entry into/exit from Ukraine, number of entries, date of submission or any other details etc.
All documents for Ukrainian visa should be submitted in original along with one attached copy of each document (no need to submit the copy of application form).

Business Visa

Note: Applicants must note that personal presence of the Applicant is compulsory for visa application except for those who have a valid USA, UK, Australia or New Zealand visa; or have visited any one of the Schengen countries within a period of past 1 year before to the date of submission of the documents for obtaining Ukrainian visa.
Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the declared exit date from Ukraine. In case considerable grounds are presented the said requirement may not apply. The passport must have at least two spare pages and should not have been issued more than ten years ago.
One Visa form (Photocopy not permitted).
Two passport-size photographs.
A short-term visa application need to be submitted by one of the following documents:
Standardized invitation document of a person or entity issued by the regional body or by the state division of the Immigration Service of Ukraine (in Original).
Original Invitation from the ministry, other central executive authorities, state institutions, enterprises or organizations.
Bank statement for last six months.
Income Tax Returns statements for past three years.
Salary slips of last six months.
A copy of registration of the Ukrainian Company.
Photocopy of OVERSEAS medical insurance policy + REPATRIATION, evacuation cover. Applicant is requested to carry his / her original insurance for verification at the time of submission of visa application form.
If the Applicant has a blank passport than urgent visa cannot be processed by the Embassy. In order to apply for the urgent visa, it is recommended that Applicant should have had traveled to countries like Schengen, USA, Australia, UK, Canada etc.

Transit Visa

Note: It should be noted that personal presence of the Applicant is compulsory for visa application.
Applicants don’t need Transit Visa if he / she continues the journey by the same or the first connecting aircraft (within 24 hours) without leaving the airport.
If, the applicant wishes to leave the airport then Visa is to applied, which can be obtained from the Embassy in New Delhi. The requisite documents for visa application are as follows:
Applicant’s passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the declared exit date from Ukraine. In case considerable grounds are presented the said requirement may not apply. The passport must have at least two spare pages and should not have been issued more than ten years ago.

Document confirming the nature of travel is transit (such as a visa to the third country, if it is required or a ticket, etc).

Ukraine is a land-locked country.

Work Permit Visa

The Embassy in New Delhi does not issue a Work Visa. The Sponsor in Ukraine needs to apply to the Bureau of Employment in Ukraine and obtain a ‘Recommendation Letter’ or the ‘Permission of Employment’. It is normally issued for a period between 1 to 5 years. The Sponsor needs to send this ‘Permission of Employment’ to the Applicant in India. On receiving the Permission, the Applicant should contact the Embassy in person. Further required documents will later be advised by the Visa Officer.
Visa Fee should be deposited to the Embassy's accounts in the Royal Bank of Scotland ("RBS") in cash. The Cash Deposit Receipt should be enclosed with the application.

Student Visa

A long-term visa application need to be enclosed with any one of the following documents:
Duly certified copy of the consent to engage foreign workers or stateless persons issued by the State Employment Center or issued on its instruction by the Employment Center of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Regional City Employment Centers, Kyiv City Employment Center and Sevastopol City Employment Center.
Copy of the Immigration permit received from the Regional Authority or Division of the State Migration Service of Ukraine.
Permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to get visas for family members of a person who has a refugee status in Ukraine;
Original standardized invitation for study. For applications submitted between August 15 and November 15: Lists from the Ukrainian Center for International Studies that are submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (provided that on the list there should be information related to the foreign national or stateless persons). Outside this period of time, a visa request from the Ministry for Education, Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine is required.
Invitation from the state institution, organization or enterprise which is a recipient of international technical aid.
Invitation from a duly registered religious organization attested by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine to work for a religious organization.
Invitation of the branch office, divisional office, representative office or any other structural cell of a duly registered foreign public organization (Non Governmental Organization).
Invitation from a registered foreign representative of a foreign business entity attested by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
Invitation from a registered branch office or representative of a foreign bank attested by the National Bank of Ukraine;
Confirmation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine related to the registration of the passport or travel document of a foreign correspondent or representative of the foreign media and his / her family members.
Foreign government’s petition for diplomatic and consular staff, or staff and representatives of international organizations who enter Ukraine long-term to perform their professional duties, and for their family members;
Other documents if required by the International Agreements of Ukraine.
