Family Visit Visa
- To stay for more than 30 days, Visa application is referred to Malaysia and is also called as Referral Visa. Application procedure and documents required are mentioned as under.
- All documents mentioned below must be submitted in duplicate
- The Applicant should have a passport valid for minimum 9 months from the date of entry into Malaysia
- Two visa forms appropriately filled and signed by the applicantÂ
- Photocopy of the first 3 pages of the passport
- Two recent passport-size (35 mm x 45 mm) photographs clicked against a white background pasted on the application form
- A Cover Letter by the Applicant explaining the purpose to visit with a sponsorship letter from Malaysia
- Original documents should be forwarded to the Immigration Department at Kuala Lumpur with a fee of INR 210
- Approval is generally received in a month from the High Commission
- After approval, the Applicant has to submit his/her passport along with confirmed return tickets for stamping of the visa
- Its processing time can take 5 working days
- Visa once issued is valid for 90 days and more as per the discretion of the Visa officer

Transit Visa

Transit visa is provided on arrival for a maximum stay of 120 hours to the travelers holding confirmed onward ticket and visa
