Tourist Visa

  • The Applicant’s passport should have the valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
  • Two visa form (photocopy allowed) with the details typed out (not written).
  • Two latest passport-size photographs.
  • The visa form should be attached with a Covering Letter from the Applicant.
  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket should also be attached with application form.
  • Onward Country visa (if any).
  • Documentary proof of confirmed Hotel Reservation by an established Travel Agency.
  • Evidence of sufficient funds such as Bank statements of the last 3 months.
  • Visa remains valid for 90 days with maximum permitted stay of 90 days as well.
  • The application is referred to Tunis for the visa approval and can take up to 7 to 10 working days or more to be processed.

Business Visa

  • The Applicant’s passport should have the valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
  • Two visa form (photocopy allowed) with the details typed out (not written).
  • Two latest passport-size photographs.
  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket should also be attached with application form.
  • An Endorsement Letter from an Indian Business Organization, giving a brief about the Company and mentioning the purpose of the visit.
  • Application should be enclosed with a Certificate of Employment, certified by an Indian Official Authority.
  • Documentary proof of confirmed Hotel Reservation by an established Travel Agency.
  • Evidence of sufficient foreign exchange in the form of endorsement on the passport, copies of International Credit Card, and bank statements for the past 3 months.
  • A Letter of Invitation (original copy to be certified by a Tunisian Municipality or Chamber of Commerce) sent directly by the Tunisian inviting Party to the Embassy of Tunisia in New Delhi.
  • A Recommendation Letter from the Indian Chamber of Commerce.
  • One set of photocopy of complete documentation should be submitted with the application form.
  • The Visa remains valid for 90 days with a stay of 7 to 90 days (maximum). The duration can further be extended in Tunisia.
  • Visa processing time can take up to 10 working days. The application is referred to Tunis for the visa approval and takes from 7 to 10 working days or even more.

Transit. (A) Visa

  • Visa is not required if the Traveler continues the journey by the same or the first connecting aircraft within 24 hours. This holds, provided that the Traveler does not leave the airport and has a confirmed onward air ticket.

Transit. (B) Visa

  • The Applicant’s passport should have the valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
  • One visa form (photocopy allowed) with the details typed out (not written).
  • One recent passport-size photograph.
  • The visa form should be accompanied with a Covering Letter from the Applicant.
  • Confirmed onward/ return air ticket should also be attached with application form.
  • Confirmed onward country visa.
  • Documentary proof of confirmed Hotel Reservation by an established Travel Agency.
  • Evidence of sufficient funds such as bank statements for the past 3 months and Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
  • Visa processing time can take up to 10 working days.

Seamen Visa

  • The Applicant’s passport should have the valid for at least 6 months from the date of travel.
  • One visa form (photocopy allowed) with the details typed out (not written).
  • One recent passport-size photograph.
  • Indian Seamen traveling in duty must carry a Letter of Guarantee from the Shipping Company with the Seamen Book.
  • The Shipping Agent in Tunisia needs to send a fax message to the Embassy stating particulars of the Seamen, the date and port of their joining the Ship.
  • Certificate of Employment certified by an Indian Official Authority.
  • Confirmed onward / return air ticket;
  • Onward Country visa (if any).
  • The Visa remains valid for 90 days with a stay of 7 to 90 days (maximum). The duration can further be extended in Tunisia.
  • Visa processing time can take up to 10 working days.
