Tourist Visa

The Applicant should have a passport with a validity of minimum 9 months ahead of the date of application for the visa
One visa form (photocopy allowed) accordingly filled and signed by the Applicant

Business Visa

The Applicant should have a passport with a validity of minimum 9 months ahead of the date of application for the visa

A Cover Letter from the Applicant explaining his purpose of travel
In case of a blank passport, attach a Letter of Invitation by the concerned business associate in Romania, attested by the Notary Public and the Immigration (Passport) Authority in Romania. Invitation letter should explain that company in Romania will bear all the expenses including all the damages
If the Applicant wants his/her travel agent to submit and collect the passport on his/ her behalf, give him an Authority Letter duly signed by the Applicant, on the employing Company's letterhead

Onward country visa
A Cover Letter from the concerned Indian Company sharing details of travel including, the Names and Addresses of the organization/s to be visited and the duration of planned stay has to be enclosed

Seamen Visa

The Applicant should have a passport with a validity of minimum 9 months ahead of the date of application for the visa

Leave Letter from his current Indian Company

Indian Seamen traveling on duty should carry a Letter of Guarantee from the associated Shipping Company with its Seamen Booklet
A letter should be faxed to the Embassy by the Shipping Agent in Romania explaining the details of the Seamen and the date and port of joining the ship

Work Permit Visa

The Applicant should have a passport with a validity of minimum 9 months ahead of the date of application for the visa
One visa form (photocopy allowed) accordingly filled and signed by the Applicant

If the Applicant wants his/her travel agent to submit and collect the passport on his/ her behalf, give him an Authority Letter duly signed by the Applicant, on the employing Company's letterhead

Income Tax Returns of last 3 years
The Employer has to take a request to the Romanian Immigration Office for issuing the Work Permit while fulfilling the following requirements:
Proof of the legality of the business in Romania along with the evidence that the Company is not in debt
Proof of compliance with the legal provisions in force with regards to the selection of the Personnel
Submission of proof certifying such facts, as per the provisions of the special law regarding Special Law on Employment of Aliens on the Romanian territory
The Applicant should perform the conditions of professional training, work experience and authorization
The Applicant should also prove that he is physically fit to perform the respective activity and has no criminal background and complies with the annual quota approved by Government Decision, as per the Special Law on Employment and Secondment of Aliens on the Romanian territory
The criminal record or other document of the same legal value must be issued by the authorities of the country of residence
Proof of the means of support at the level of the minimum wage guaranteed for the entire period specified on the visa is also required
The proof of the remuneration for the period of the contract
Medical Insurance for the whole period of the Visa validity
Educational Certificates
Police Clearance Certificate
The Applicant should apply for a long stay visa for employment within 30 days of the issuance of the Work Permit
