ClimateClimate: The climate of the country varies from region to region. Its coast has a warm and Mediterranean climate that is warm on the eastern coast by southwest trade winds. Inland areas enjoy hotter, drier and continental climate. South of the country enjoys a weather, which is really hot and dry all through the year. Although nights are very cool in this region in the months of December and January. Coastal areas of the country witness rainfalls from month of November to March. In summer, climate is mostly dry and enjoys high temperatures.

Tourist Visa

  • The Applicant should have a passport with a validity of minimum 6 months from the date of entry into Morocco
  • Three visa forms (photocopy allowed), first of which should be filled in original
  • Three passport-size (3 cm x 4 cm) color photographs clicked against a white background and wearing a tie
  • A Cover Letter from the Applicant (in case of being self employed- it should be written on the letterhead of the company)
  • A Letter of Authority by the applicant allowing the agent to submit and receive the passport on his behalf
  • Confirm onward/ return flight ticket
  • Onward country visa
  • Bank statements of last 3 months
  • Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years
  • Copy of Credit card
  • Hotel reservation confirmation
  • Medical insurance
  • Visa once issued is valid of 90 days for a maximum stay of 90 days
  • Its processing time can take 10 to 14 working days
  • Note: Visa fee has to be paid as a bank draft in favor of "Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco"
  • Note: At present, Embassy is not issuing Double Entry Visa.

Business Visa

  • Original invitation letter from the related Business Associate's in Morocco having company's stamp on it. In certain cases, it should be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Morocco
  • A letter from the Indian Chamber of Commerce
  • A Letter of Authority by the applicant allowing the agent to submit and receive the passport on his behalf
  • Confirm onward/ return flight ticket
  • Onward country visa
  • Bank statements of last 3 months

Transit Visa

  • If passengers have confirmed onward air ticket and have to continue their journey by the same or the first connecting aircraft within 24 hours without going out from the airport, then they don't need visa for it.

Seamen Visa

  • Indian Seamen travelling on duty should carry a Letter of Guarantee from the concerned shipping company with the Seamen Book and passport
  • A letter from the associated shipping company in Morocco has to be faxed to the Embassy giving all the details of the Seamen along with the date and port ofjoining the ship
