Tourist Visa

  • Passport validity of the Applicant should at least be 6 months beyond the planned date of entry with two empty pages back to back
  • One Visa form (photocopy) carefully filled in and signed by the applicant
  • One recent passport-size photograph (4 x 4 cm) clicked against a white background (glued on the application form)
  • Confirm return flight ticket
  • Company Registration Certificate or Certificate of Incorporation as proof of service
  • Company profile or property legal document on the name of applicant
  • Authority letter on company's letterhead of the Applicant in favor of Travel Agent to put forward and collect the passport
  • A cover letter stating your reason to visit the country along with your day wise itinerary program of your trip
  • Proof of hotel booking confirmation for all through your stay
  • Copy of Credit Card (International)
  • Copy of IT returns for last 3 years
  • Original Bank statement of last 6 months (with contact number and contact person of the bank printed on it)
  • If you are self-employed or fall in any other category, present a letter stating your purpose to visit along with complete planning of your trip
  • If you are a student, provide the leave sanction letter from your study institute

Business Visa

  • Passport validity of the Applicant should at least be 6 months beyond the planned date of entry with two empty pages back to back

  • One recent passport-size photograph (4 x 4 cm) clicked against a white background (glued on the application form)
  • Confirm return flight ticket
  • A cover letter (original) should be notary attested in India with apostille seal from the MEA
  • A confirmation letter from the Chamber of Commerce or Export Promotion Council, attesting the membership of the Company or, any Local Industry Institution or a certified copy of the official "Certificate of Incorporation" of the Company with the Indian Ministry of Industry and Commerce (Mandatory) with an apostille seal from MEA.
  • An invitation letter from the concerned business associate in Argentina, accordingly attested by a local Notary Public in Argentina
  • Proof of official correspondence with the concerned Argentine company
  • A letter from the concerned company (provide a non-official translation into Spanish) addressed to the Deputy Consul General requesting the transitory Business Visa, including:
  • A brief profile of the business/company/organization
  • Complete information of the applicant including his name, nationality and passport number and position/title within the business/company/organization
  • Proof of the purpose and duration of the visit
  • Each detail of all concerned persons/bodies that you will contact in Argentina
  • If you are a businessman, please attach a photocopy of the official registration of your business and income tax return for last 3 years.
  • The letter should be original (no photocopies or faxes will be accepted) and translated into Spanish on company letter-head paper, signed by the person in charge, (other than the applicant).
  • If the applicant is going to attend any Trade Fair, Congress or Exhibition, he should be registered for the same.
  • Authority letter on company's letterhead of the Applicant in favor of Travel Agent to put forward and collect the passport

Transit Visa

  • Passport validity of the Applicant should at least be 6 months beyond the planned date of entry with two empty pages back to back
  • One Visa form (photocopy) carefully filled in and signed by the applicant on both sides of the form
  • One recent passport-size photograph (4 x 4 cm) clicked against a white background (glued on the application form)
  • Confirm onward flight ticket
  • Onward country visa
  • Visa for the country to be visited before and after travelling to Argentina
  • Proof of resources in Argentina including Forex, income-tax statement or any other document
  • Copy of Credit Card (International)
  • Original Bank statement of last 6 months (with contact number and contact person of the bank printed on it)
  • Company Registration Certificate or Certificate of Incorporation as proof of service
  • Company profile or property legal document on the name of applicant
  • Validity of Visa for 10 days with single entry
  • Personal presence of the Applicant can be asked.

Seamen Visa

  • One recent passport-size photograph (4 x 4 cm) clicked against a white background (glued on the application form)
  • Confirm onward/return flight ticket
  • A cover letter from the concerned Indian Shipping Company appropriately attested by a local Notary Public, and a guarantee letter
  • If prior telegrammed authorization from Immigration Department in Argentina, sent directly to the Embassy, seamen can apply for the Transit Visa
  • Seamen booklet (CDC)
  • Visa of the countries to be visited before and after travelling to Argentina
  • Copy of Credit Card (International)
  • Original Bank statement of last 6 months (with contact number and contact person of the bank printed on it)

  • An approval letter sent directly to the Embassy by the immigration department
  • Visa requisition letter from the concerned company/ person funding your trip
  • A No-Objection letter from the parent in case of minor for Study/Exchange Programs
  • Original employment contract accordingly signed by employer and employee Character Certificate issued by local police authorities accordingly apostille by the Ministry of External Affairs, Patiala House, (Consular Division), New Delhi.
  • Statement of no records with international police (Forms available at Embassy)
  • Birth Certificate/Affidavit properly apostille by the Ministry of External Affairs
  • If the Applicant is born in a third country, Birth Certificate must be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Country of Origin and the Consulate of Argentina in the same Country
  • If the Applicant is married, a marriage certificate/ affidavit has to be submitted accordingly apostille by the Ministry of External Affairs
  • If the applicant is married in a third country, marriage certificate must be attested by the Ministry of External Affairs of the Country of origin and a letter from the Embassy/Consulate of Argentina in the same Country
  • Non Official translated version of all the mentioned documents in Spanish
