Q1: What are the airlines policies for cancellation/rescheduling during lockdown?

Q2: My flight is suppose to fly after lockdown (beyond 25th May), can I cancel or reschedule it?
A: Cancellation charges will be applicable. However some airlines are offering free rescheduling, please login and see: Mybookings.EaseMyTrip.com
Q3: My flight was cancelled by Indian government due to lockdown (till 25th May). How am I supposed to cancel and get a refund?
A: Firstly there is no need for urgency. All PNR are protected by the airlines. Airline are not offering full-refund for flight cancelled due to country lockdown. Instead airlines are offering full-amount credit-shell (that can be used for future travel). Please give us sometime to get clarity & procedure from airlines in the next few days.
Q4: Where will I use credit-shell? At Airlines website or with EaseMyTrip? Can I use it right now?
A: Airlines and travel agencies are still trying to figure out modalities to use credit-shell. Please give us 10-12 days. There is no need for urgency. All PNR are protected by the airlines. Q5: My flight was cancelled by Indian government due to lockdown (till 25th May). How can I reschedule my ticket?

Q6: I have already cancelled my flight with the airlines. And they have credited full-refund, but I received partial-refund from EaseMyTrip. When will I get remaining?
A: If airlines has confirmed full-refund in writing, then you surely receive it. Our top priority is cancelling/rescheduling flights right now. We are yet to reconcile our accounts with airlines. Please give us 10-15 days to reconcile and process
Q7: Airlines has cancelled all flights, so do I need to cancel my booking?

Q8: I have cancelled by tickets directly from Airlines, what is the procedure to claim refund from EaseMyTrip?
A: If you have already cancelled your flight from the airlines, then you need to place cancellation request at Mybookings.EaseMyTrip.com, so we can claim your refunds from the airlines.
Q9: Airlines are offering full-refund, but why EaseMyTrip is giving partial refund?
A: No airline is offering full-refund for flight cancelled due to country lockdown. Instead most airlines are offering full-amount credit-shell (that can be used for future travel). However, if airlines has confirmed full-refund in writing, then you surely receive it. Our top priority is cancelling/rescheduling flights right now. Q10: Why EaseMyTrip customer care is not responding over calls & emails?
A: Entire country is on lockdown, including us. We are working 24/7 from our home to assist our customers. However due to unprecedented email volumes, please give us 2-3 working days to respond back. Meanwhile you can help yourself here: Mybookings.EaseMyTrip.com
Q11: I cancelled my flight earlier. But now due to lockdown entire flight has been cancelled. Am I eligible to reclaim full refund?
A: At the time you cancelled your flight, the flight was in good standing. Hence you will not be able to claim any further refund or benefits.
Q12: Why EaseMyTrip is not offering full-refund in this catastrophic situation?
A: These charges are levied by the airlines (not by EaseMyTrip), we understand your concern, but we are helpless as we have to follow procedures made by airlines. Instead of full-refund, airlines are offering credit-shell (that can be used for future travel). Please give us sometime to get clarity & procedure from airlines in the next few days.
Q13: I paid cancellation fees, while cancelling my Indigo flight (for travel between 13 March - 30th April). Can you help me reclaim it?
A: Incase you have paid cancellation charges on Indigo (for travel between 13 March - 30th April), we can help you recover the same, when you book next ticket with EaseMyTrip by 30th June, while booking new-ticket just mention your PNR (in promo-code) we will refund cancelation-charges paid to Indigo airlines. Unfortunately, other airlines are not offering this scheme.

Q15: I was supposed to fly AirAsia, how do I cancel/reschedule my booking?
A: Please fill out the form: https://air.asia/Vt9rc if you wish to cancel/reissue your AirAsia flight. With this form AirAsia will directly respond to you. There are some issues in live APIs of AirAsia, hence we have to do it manually. Waivers offered by AirAsia (once you fill this form): Reschedule & no-show charges are waived for 15th April travel
