Tourist Visa (T)
The Tourist Visa is issued for purposes of tourism, leisure, health, or not lucrative activities related to artistic, cultural, scientific or sport matters. Also, for making new contacts with enterprises and companies or people from the public or private sector. This visa can’t be changed to any other type of visa and the visa holder won’t be permitted to work in the country.
The Tourist Visa is valid for one (1) year with permitting the holder for multiple entries to Venezuela. It authorizes the visa holder to stay in the country for a period of up to 90 days, which can be renewed for the same period previous authorization of the Ministry of the People’s Power for Interior and Justice.
- Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months at the time of application.
- One duly filled visa form (photocopy is allowed).
- One latest 3 x 3 size color photograph (white background). Scanned photos will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- One color (white background) photograph in JPG Format (70KB Maximum size in disk, 400 MP maximum width and 600 MP maximum, saved in a CD or Pen Drive or one can send the same to the Embassy through a mail on e-mail id: consular@embaveneindia.com).
- The application forms should be enclosed with a Covering Letter requesting for the issue of the relevant visa and briefly mentioning the purpose of the visit.
- The Original letter of employment, specifying position held length of employment and salary should be submitted along with the application.
- The Original and photocopy of onward / return air ticket or travel itinerary should also be attached with the application.
- Onward visa.
- Evidence of sufficient funds.
- Bank statements are required of the last six months. (In original with the Bank Seal). Letter from bank verifying the opening date and good handling of applicant’s account.
- In case applicant being under age, the two abovementioned requirements should be filled / completed by parents or legal guardian.
- Applicant might be asked to come personally for any clarification if the Embassy may seek.
- In case of a Family Visit, an Original Invitation Letter (in Spanish) from a Relative / Friend along with a Letter from the Employer will be required.
- Yellow Fever certificate is compulsory at the time of submission and the applicant should also carry the same while travelling to Venezuela.
- A copy of the ‘Cedula de Identidad’ of the Sponsor should also be enclosed.
- After issuance, the Visa is valid for one year with multiple entry and issued for a stay of up to 30 days per entry.
- The Visa Processing time, after submitting the bank receipt for the visa fee in the Embassy can be 2 to 3 days.
Visa fee should be paid in INR and is to be deposited into the Embassy's Consular Fees Account at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi - 110 001. Payments in cheques or money transfers are not permitted.

Tourist Visa (T)
Business Visa (TR-N)
The Business Visa is issued to non-immigrants traders, representatives of enterprises & industries or executives going to Venezuela to complete activities and/or commercial and financial transactions or any other productive activity related to their business.
Business visa remains valid for one (1) year with multiple entries. Its holder is permitted to stay in the country for a non-renewable period up to 180 days.
- Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months at the time of application.
- One duly filled visa form (photocopy is allowed).
- One latest 3 x 3 size color photograph (white background). Scanned photos will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- One color (white background) photograph in JPG Format (70KB Maximum size in disk, 400 MP maximum width and 600 MP maximum, saved in a CD or Pen Drive or one can send the same to the Embassy through a mail on e-mail id: consular@embaveneindia.com).
- The application forms should be enclosed with a Covering Letter requesting for the issue of the relevant visa and briefly mentioning the purpose of the visit.
- The Original letter of employment, specifying position held length of employment and salary should be submitted along with the application.
- The Original and photocopy of onward / return air ticket or travel itinerary should also be attached with the application.

- Application should be enclosed with an Original Recommendation Letter from the Chamber of Commerce in India.
- A Letter of Original Invitation (in Spanish) from the Business Client / Trading Associate / Industrial House or by identifiable Sponsors in Venezuela should also be attached with the application form. This letter should mention the purpose / motive of visit, the expected duration of stay and ensure the financial responsibilities of the Applicant. Venezuelan Company's Commercial Registry and RIF etc.
- An original Company Registration Certificate of the Sponsoring Company in Venezuela should accompany the above mentioned letter.
- Yellow Fever certificate is compulsory at the time of submission and the applicant should also hold the same while travelling to Venezuela.
- Applicant might be asked to come personally for any clarification if the Embassy may seek.
- After issuance, the Visa remains valid for one year with ‘multiple entry’ and issued for a stay of up to 30 days per entry.
- Visa Processing time, after depositing the bank receipt for the visa fee in the Embassy is 2 to 3 days.
Visa fee is to be paid in INR and should be deposited into the Embassy's Consular Fees Account at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi - 110 001. Payments in cheques or money transfers are not allowed.

Business Visa (TR-N)
Transit Visa (V-T)
The Transit Visa is issued to non-immigrants passengers passing through Venezuela in transit to another country.
This visa remains valid only for seventy-two (72) hours with a single entry. If the applicant’s or passenger’s travel ticket indicates transit in Venezuela in the way back to his / her country, the visa will be issued for 2 entries.
- Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months at the time of application.
- One duly filled visa form (photocopy is allowed).
- One latest 3 x 3 size color photograph (white background). Scanned photos will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- One color (white background) photograph in JPG Format (70KB Maximum size in disk, 400 MP maximum width and 600 MP maximum, saved in a CD or Pen Drive or one can send the same to the Embassy through a mail on e-mail id: consular@embaveneindia.com).

- A Letter of Guarantee from the Shipping Company in India should be attached with the application form.
- An Original Invitation from the Shipping Agent in Venezuela along with a copy of the Company Registration Certificate and the CDC should also be enclosed with the application form.
- Yellow Fever certificate is compulsory at the time of submission and the applicant should also carry the same while visiting Venezuela.
- Applicant might be asked to come personally for any clarification if the Embassy may seek.
- Visa remains valid for one year with a maximum stay of 3 days permitted.
- Visa Processing time, after depositing the bank receipt for the visa fee in the Embassy is 2 to 3 days.

Seamen Visa
Student Visa (TR-E)
The Student Visa is granted to non-immigrants who intend to stay in the country to carry on professional technical courses, under-graduated courses, masters, etc.
This visa remains valid for one (1) year with multiple entries and the visa holder is allowed to stay in the country for the same period of time. The Ministry of Popular Power for Interior and Justice may extend it, by request of the applicant, who must submit sufficient proof of continuation of studies.
- Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months at the time of application.
- One duly filled visa form (photocopy is allowed).
- One latest 3 x 3 size color photograph (white background). Scanned photos will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- One color (white background) photograph in JPG Format (70KB Maximum size in disk, 400 MP maximum width and 600 MP maximum, saved in a CD or Pen Drive or one can send the same to the Embassy through a mail on e-mail id: consular@embaveneindia.com).
- The Original acceptance letter from a Venezuelan Educational Institution is required.
- The Financial support letter from whoever is sponsoring the applicant should be submitted along with the application. The finance should cover: school fees, tuition fees, and living expenses etc. Notarized authorization letter from parents, if less than 18 years old is also required.
- Police clearance record valid at least six (6) months.
- Medical Certificate from an Authorized Doctor along with HIV Test Certificate should be submitted along with the application form.
- Yellow Fever certificate is required at the time of application submission and the applicant must carry the same while visiting Venezuela.
- Evidence of Educational and Professional Certificates, duly attested from the Ministry of Home Affairs and External Affairs in India is also required.
- Confirmed Air Ticket.
- Personal presence of the Applicant can be required.
- Visa Processing time, after depositing the bank receipt for the visa fee in the Embassy is 2 to 3 days.

Student Visa (TR-E)
Work Permit Visa (TR-L) (For Spouse and Children (TR-F-L) *)
In order to get the Working Visa, an authorization should be applied to "Dirección General Sectorial de Identificación y Control de Extranjeros (DIEX) / Ministry of the Popular Power for Interior and Justice" by the employer Company or Institution in Venezuela. The requirements for such authorization must established by the abovementioned Ministries in Venezuela.
Exception: Artist, Correspondents of Press Service and Sport Professionals involved in Lucrative Activities. Their representatives in Venezuela should get the authorization from the Ministry of Interior and Justice, who will ask for the requirements of the visa and the duration of the stay in the country.
Once the Consular Office gets the authorization number from DIEX (which has 6 months validity), the applicant should submit the following documents:
- Applicant’s passport should be valid for at least six months at the time of application.
- One duly filled visa form (photocopy is allowed).
- One latest 3 x 3 size color photograph (white background). Scanned photos will NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- One color (white background) photograph in JPG Format (70KB Maximum size in disk, 400 MP maximum width and 600 MP maximum, saved in a CD or Pen Drive or one can send the same to the Embassy through a mail on e-mail id: consular@embaveneindia.com).
- A Covering Letter from the Company in India should be attached with the application form.
- Copy of working contract, Academic degrees, Copy of working permit issued by Venezuelan authorities etc. (*-Marriage certificate; birth certificate for children under eighteen (18) years).
- An Authorization should be requested to the "Director General Sectorial De Identification y Control de Extranjeros (DIEX) / Ministerio de Interior y Justicia" by the Employing Company in Venezuela. The authorization, thus received should be sent directly to the Embassy.
- Evidences of Educational and Professional Certificates duly attested from the Ministry of Home Affairs and External Affairs in India is also required.
- Police clearance record valid at least six (6) months.
- Medical Certificate from an Authorized Doctor along with HIV Test Certificate should be submitted along with the application form.
