Located in Kurnool, Orvakal Rock Garden is one of the well-recognized rock gardens in India. It is situated on NH-18 highway, outside the village of Orvakal. The shooting of the film – ‘Baahubali, the Beginning’ started here from 6 July 2013.
The famous Western Ghats Range or Sahyadri Mountain Range in Mahabaleshwar is one among the few evergreen forests of India. At this place, the film was shot in extreme climatic conditions, including smog, rain and cold.
Ramoji Film City is one of the most popular sightseeing spots in Hyderabad and one of the largest and enchanting film studios in the world. It is spread over an area of about 2500 acres and offers major film making facility of the country. This is the place where major parts of Baahubali were shot in specially erected sets.
Located in Thrissur district of Kerala, this 80 feet waterfall is also known as Niagra Falls of India. It is the part of Sholayar ranges. There is another waterfall known Charpa Falls close to this. The fall is a favorite spot for Bollywood and Tollywood movies. With VFX effect, the film appeared so grand and awed the audience.
Due to the frequent rains disrupting the shooting in maize fields of India, the cast and crew flew to Bulgaria for the same. The vast fields of maize served the purpose of shooting scenes amidst several natural surroundings and helped to recreate the sights resembling to the ancient views for the film. Its mountains ranges were chosen for the filming of the movies. The shooting for the film lasted for 25 days in Bulgaria.
