EaseMyTrip Co-producing ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’

EaseMyTrip.com is going to co-produce another film “Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi" that is expected to hit the theatres on 27th April, 2017. Mr. Nishant Pitti, CEO & Co-founder, Easy Trip Planners Ltd. is one of the co-producers of the movie. The main photography of the film started from May, 2017. The film is actually based on the life of the very brave Rani Laxmi Bai – Queen of Jhansi. It will show her fights against the British East India Company, during the 1857 Indian Revolt.

This Indian epic biography has always created buzz whenever any filmmaker or TV producer tried to make a film or series over it. Everyone is aware of the struggles and bravery of Rani Lakshmi Bai. She was raised in an exceptional way by her father. He not just taught her sword fighting and horse riding, but also motivated her to learn riding elephants and more. As per the facts, the queen learnt lots of skills from his father and used all these to fight against the British.

The first poster of the film was released in May, 2017. Kangana Ranaut is playing the titular role in the film and in the poster; her looks are creating curiosity among the viewers. Atul Kulkarni will also be part of this film as Tatya Tatya Tope who helped the Jhansi’s queen in controlling over Gwalior and release it from the clutches of the British. The film is being directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi (Krish) and is written by KV Vijayendra Prasad. He also wrote the screenplay for the grand Baahubali series. The film is going to be produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Co-Produced by Nishant Pitti.
