Alitalia Airline Advisory on Coronavirus

Following the entry into force of Law Decree no. 9 of March 2nd 2020, of the Italian Prime Minister's Decree of March 8th 2020, as amended by the Italian Prime Minister's Decree of March 9th 2020, which imposed restrictions on the movement throughout Italy of natural persons identified by the decrees themselves as well as the growing number of restrictions and/or recommendations adopted by numerous foreign countries with respect to flights and/or passengers entering, in transit and leaving Italy, as described by the Viaggiare Sicuri service of the Crisis Unit of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation.

For all bookings, cancellation charges are applicable as per Alitalia Airlines. However reschedule charges are waived off on certain cases as per below

Case 1:

Booking Date: Before 8th March 2020
Travel Date: On or Before 31st May 2020

Before 72 Hours of Flight Departure	One-time One-time Reschedule/Change Waiver allowed for travel till December 31st 2020. Fare difference if any will be applicable. Or Travel Voucher with one year validity.	No waiver allowed from Alitalia Airlines

Case 2:

Booking Date: On or Before 8th March 2020
Travel Date: After 31st May 2020

Terms and Cnditions.

TRAVEL DATE CHANGE (REBOOKING)
In case of original flight reservations on:

AZ operating rebooking without penalty, in the same booking class as original booking or in the first available class, same cabin.
AZ marketing rebooking without penalty, exclusively in the same booking class as original booking.
VOUCHER (TCV) for an amount equal to the value of the ticket purchased or its residual value, valid for the purchase of other tickets to any destination operated by Alitalia, which can be used to travel within one year from voucher (TCV) date of issue. The request to issue the voucher (TCV) can be finalized by Alitalia Contact Center within May 31st.
Passengers holding unused Alitalia tickets (if "no show “then not applicable, so need to cancel n before the travel start date).
Refund will have to be requested within May 31st2020, Through R. A ONLY which is subject to approval from Alitalia Airlines H.O and will be processed in the original form of payment .
Also refund is not applicable on policy 1.i,e to change the schedule if flight operational or as per schedule.
