Singapore low cost subsidiary airlines ‘Scoot’ which operates its direct flights between India and Europe will offer lowest fare bucket for one-way trip between Rs. 12,000 and Rs. 13,000, inclusive of a meal and the cost of a 20kg check-in bag.

“A return trip to Europe would cost around Rs 26,000. Cheaper fares would be available on transit flights that halt in the Middle East”- Bharath Mahadevan, head of Scoot India.

"Since we have fifth freedom, we can operate direct flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata to destinations like Copenhagen, Vienna, Cairo and Manchester," Mahadevan said.
