Khem Raj Thakur is a renowned mountaineer and skier, has over three-dozen summits in the Indian Himalayas to his credit and also trekked extensively in India and abroad.

Foghills Manali Cottage Architecture- Himachal Pradesh is rich in timber, especially strong and long-lasting is used as building materials. The Finest wood - deodar that last for 100 years in water has been used in building the cottage and the style of building is 'Kathkuni' or 'Kathkundi' which unique to this region .
