Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation initiated by the customer 28 hours before the departure time:

  • Air-India will process a partial refund after deducting airline cancellation penalty fees in the form of agency fund-transfers.

Cancellation initiated by the customer within 28 hours of departure or after the departure time:

  • Air-India will process a refund of unutilized taxes in the form of agency fund-transfers.

Flight suspended by Air-India:

  • Air-India will process a full refund on all such flights in the form of a credit shell.

Cancellation/Claim Refund Process:

  • The customer can cancel their booking either at Air-India call-center or EaseMyTrip MyBookings self-service portal (mybookings.easemytrip.com)
  • If the customer has canceled his/her flight through Air-India website/Call-center, The customer has to claim the refund by initiating a cancellation request from EaseMyTrip My booking self-service portal (mybookings.easemytrip.com)
  • If Air-India has suspended the flight or Air-India has approved full refund for any reason, Then also the customer has to claim the refund by initiating a full refund cancelation request from EaseMyTrip My booking self-service portal (mybookings.easemytrip.com)

Amendment/Reschedule Policy:

Amendment/Reschedule initiated by the customer 28 hours before the departure time:

  • Air-India doesn't allow any Free amendment. Customer can change their travel date by paying a reschedule penalty fees and fare difference (if any).

Amendment/Reschedule initiated by the customer within 28 hours or after the departure time:

  • Air-India doesn't allow customers to reschedule their flights.

Amendment/Reschedule Process:

  • The customer can amend/modify their booking either at Air-India call-center or EaseMyTrip MyBookings self-service portal(mybookings.easemytrip.com)
  • Customers can amend/reschedule their bookings by logging into EaseMyTrip self-service portal(mybookings.easemytrip.com) as a guest or signed-in user Retrieve Booking >> Reschedule >> Change/Modify Itinerary >> Search Flight >> Choose Flight >> Add Passenger >> Pay fare difference (If any) >> Booking Confirmation

Cancellation & Amendment Policy:

  • All flights for travel from 25th March 2020 to 25th May (both days inclusive) has been suspended by Air-India.
  • All tickets under this period will be protected by Air-India.
  • Customers don't have to call/email/chat with EaseMyTrip/Air-India for the cancellation of their booking.
  • Customer should not cancel their booking at EaseMyTrip or Air-India Call center under this travel period as Air-India will refund the amount after deducting the cancellation penalty fees, and Air-India will take 45-60 days for the refunds to be processed.
  • Air-India allows a one-time Free amendment, The customer can reschedule their flight one-time without any reschedule penalty fees for travel up to 1 year the issuing date.
  • Customers can reschedule their flight for any sector with the same passenger(s) to any date for up to 1 year from the issuing date.
