Whenever we travel we all look forward to a comfortable and smooth ride. Whether we are travelling for work or for a holiday or for any other reason, having a smooth ride from the start to the end is important in order to enjoy every bit of our travel experience. Therefore, to elevate our customer’s travel experience, we conducted several surveys targeting millions of people to understand what are the issues and pain points that they face while flying that they would like to highlight.  Our survey highlighted the below

Issues:

• Early morning flights have always been uncomfortable. People are sleep deprived, hungry and even tired. Our survey says that 48 % of morning flight takers wanted to have their beverage before their flight but due to the lack of time they couldn’t.
• Many times, the airports are very big because of which travellers often get lost with the options available. 53% of travellers wanted to eat a good meal but they were unaware of the options.
• Travelling by flight is a long tiring journey, 67% of travellers faced low battery issues. When they wanted to search for plug points, many times these plug points weren’t available and if they were available, they were far from the boarding gate which caused a lot of inconveniences.
• Baggage guidelines keep changing, 34% of the travellers faced luggage issues at the time of checking in. This resulted in a lot of waste of time and left them angry and embarrassed.
• 22% of senior citizen travellers faced issues when it came to getting assistance while checking in and getting to their boarding gate. They also faced wheelchair issues at the airport which left them in pain
• 18% of mothers travelling alone with their new-born kids faced issues with respect to luggage assistance, trolley and baby need requirements.
• Many times, the airport WIFI lasts only for a few hours. 12% of travellers faced issues when their internet was down and the WIFI was not functioning.
• Our survey also highlighted that 26% travellers had issues with how their suitcase was damaged .
• And the highlight was that 73% of travellers faced issues at the time of checking in with respect to their baggage weight.

These were the most highlighted issues that came from the survey but there were many more. So, we understood that providing our travellers with the best deals is not the only area we wanted to look into, we wanted to also satisfy our customers during the entire course of their flight journey. And, that is how we came up with Easy Buddy.

Here is how Easy Buddy will make your travel easy

Whenever you are at the airport and you require help, just click on the Easy Buddy button on the mobile application and you will automatically be assigned with an assistant. The details, phone number and ID of the person will be given to you so you can verify once they arrive. You don’t need to go around finding the assistant, they would come to you at the location you say.  

From our research, we analysed that customers don’t require assistance for more than 30 minutes.  Hence for the first 30 minutes, the cost is absolutely free. However, after 30 minutes, the charge starts at INR 99 plus taxes.

The payments or any extra charges that may occur can be seamlessly be done with the latest UPI payments or with a mode of payment of your choice. So, you don’t have to worry about any payment issues.
