Mount Titlis and Lucerne Day Trip from Zurich

we lost our belongings and bus left us behind.very unprofessional behaviour,

mount titlis trip was awesome.we had bad experience in zurich city trip.our umbrella was missing and guide was nt polite.although we reach in time at bus but she left us

Totally love it, Mary Ann, our tour guide is great, driver too. A suggestion to include lion monument in lucerne, extend another hour at Lucerne. Too much time for Mt Titlis.

This was an amazing experience. So beautiful and our guide Adolfo was a wonderful, caring guide. Really went about and beyond to make sure we were all taken care of.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO VISIT MT. TITLIS

This is excellent place to visit and all tour operators include it in their itinerary. The entire trip is worth with cable car and rotair. The view is breathtaking. Do enjoy the cliff ride if the weather is good . It cost 12 francs but worth it. Really loved Mt. Titlis

Maintenance of cable cars causes long lines and wait times.

The day started off great with Best of Switzerland Tours starting out on time from our coach park in Zurich which was 5 minutes walk from our Central Plaza hotel. Franz our tour guide advised us on arrival that there was maintenance being done on the cable cars and that there were lines going up as well as coming down. (Now you tell Us!) It took nearly one and a half hours to finally get up to Mount Titlis, and the same amount of time to get back down. The lines were long and the cable cars filled to maximum capacity (read that as being packed in like a can of sardines!) The restaurant at the top was also packed and people resorted to eating their meals on the stair steps. The view was poor due to weather conditions which of course we had no control over. In hindsight I would have loved to have known that maintenance was taking place during this shoulder season. I could have made a better decision as to whether to go or not.

Enjoy Life

I also like this tour, but too much time spend in up mount Titles, some representatives required on hard ice. So Many old age come with the give experience.

I wish we were told the cable carts were not working prior to booking as it was over crowded going up and down the mountains and took way too much time.

Titles trip

V nice and comfortable trip we had a great time tour guide Sasilia and Asilia both was great 💕they stop different places and explain really well and came back on time

Worth every cent!!

We highly recommend doing this tour if you're going to Zurich. We loved the whole tour, the views were literally postcards. Even though my family and I did the tour in the end of May, the mountains were still filled with snow and temperature was really low (make sure to bring snow clothes with you so you're not freezing). The tour staff, especially Raphael and Luisa were so sweet and explained everything regarding the history, recommendations and everything else. We did an hour stop in Lucerne where we did a bit of sightseeing, shopping and stayed by the lake. Everything was beautiful. Totally recommend choosing ''Best of Switzerland Tours''.

Overall was good

Good tour, good arrangement, and good weather, we enjoyed this tour. So many people go there, seems a little bit too crowded.

Superb trip to the top of mountain Titlis

The whole experience was incredible, we walked along the suspension bridge and it was something special.. Couldn’t recommend it more

Amazing!

The most memorable part of this tour is the riding of four cable car going up to Mt. Titlis. The view is amazing!

Avoid!

Awful. Looong quees. Tourist hell. Would not recommend. Not worth it. Avoid this trip for tour for your own sake. Take my word for it.

Poor refund policy

We had a handicapped person with us and we were not provided a refund. We will not book with Viator again due to their refusal.

Excellent tour

The trip was amazing, our guide Gonzalo was extremely helpful and gave us good tips about the places and organized everything, we had no delays and everything is exactly as announced. The places that we went through were one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen

Mount TITLIS

Was splendid adventure going to the top of Mount TITLIS is magnificent experience the whole group love it riding the cable car

A very well organized trip.

The guide was excellent and very helpful. She had a lot of knowledge and was very inclusive of all the nationalities on the trip. She also made us laugh!!! All tickets cable cars etc were included in the price.

Titilis

The day was really lovely and we had some lovely stops along the way. I think it was odd that it wasn’t until after Lucerne that our tour guide informed us the normal cable car for titilis wasn’t working, it really put a damper on the day and we had about 40 minutes up at the top. Things happen and we still had an amazing time! But it would’ve been nice to know earlier to maybe try to plan another day. It is quite beautiful up top and the suspension bridge is very cool!

Fantastic

It was good trip with Rafael ( guide) only we had problem at ice flyer the ticket was not scanning at entry point then the ticket counter person intervined then they allowed us. Overall it was good 👍

360 gandola ride was a unique ride. Lucern stop was excellent with much time to expore the city. Overall a great experience

The coach bus was extremely comfortable. Our tour guide and his assistant were very attentive and gave the group a lot of great information about the different towns we drove through on the way to Mt. Titlis. Very professional and made each person feel welcome!

Going to Engelberg and Titlis never dissappoints. Views are breathtaking! The ride there was great, bus was well equipped and driver was friendly. Tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly as well.

Brilliant tour

The cable car rides were excellent. It’s an amazing day It was easy to navigate our way through all the cable cars. You feel like you are on top of the world up there.

Lucerne and Mt. Titlis...

Lucerne and Mt. Titlis were stunning. Our tour guide and bus driver were both very personable and added to pleasure of the trip.

Just book it

Great trip. Highly recommend. Perfect day trip from Zurich to see the beautiful Swiss Alps. The itinerary is a lot of driving but broken up nicely and you get a lot in a day. Honestly the drive is beautiful anyway. It’s well coordinated and the guides are friendly. Just be on time!

Convenient for sightseeing

This was less of a guided tour and more of a 'we will drive you to locations and provide some commentary on the way, but otherwise you're on your own' kind of experience. It was worth it to me for the convenience of having your travel and your admission to the mountain covered, but realistically (if you had access to a car) you might be able to DIY this less expensively. Our guides were well informed and interesting to listen to for the bus ride, but you didn't see them once you arrived at the location. If that works for you for the price, then this is a great option.

It was the perfect time for skiing to go there . Even though we were not at the very beginning. We had fun and people working over there were so helpful.thank you

Worth the trip, but pay attention to the weather

The tour guide was great and we really enjoyed Lucerne. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so our trip to Mt. Titlis was cut short.

Exceptional experience

It was great in all means; the snow experience including all activities on the mountain with reasonable time to rest and move forward. The tour guides were amazing.

Disappointed

The storm that came in and cut our excursion short by two hours! Weather is unpredictable but surely they have radar and could've made some other arrangements rather than taking us all the way up and then closing everything down within a matter of five minutes.

Great tour but not so much for older folks

The views Rotating cable too crowded and rotates very little but views that we Could see were great.

Titis mountain

It was awesome amazing trip, it was snowing, but still amazing. Just being up so high on the mountain, the guides were great, explaining lots of things about Switzerland. Thanks for a great day 😀

Great Time !!

A very enjoyable trip. Lots to see and the mountains are spectacular! If you don’t ski you can get the skiing experience riding the lifts.

A wonderfull Day!!!

It was an amazing adventure! Weather was perfect, so we could appreciate all the esplendor of de snowy mountains, the Village og Engelberg, the River, the tipos he hours, everything was like a card! The only thing was the bridge on the tpo was closed due to maintenance shores, but the driver and the guide falso were very kind and very helpfull, so all contribute to have a really wonderfull Day!

The best part was standing at the top and experiencing the view. We also loved the ice cave. We would have loved a shirt that showed the ice cave.

This tour was excellent and beautiful. The tour guides were amazing and the trip as well. The only thing is that in the description of the tour, it said 13 hours, and that is incorrect; it was only 9 hours; but that length of time was perfect.

Excellent guides

Our guides were excellent and very knowledgeable. All of the languages he spoke was impressive. Appreciate that they kept to the time table despite having to wait for those who were not on time.

Great day in the Swiss Alps

Loved the whole experience. Lucerne was lovely place to stop and at the mountain we just loved everything.

Amazing tour 🤩

Our driver Francesco and our tour leader Franz/Frank (not sure of the exact spelling) was very friendly and amazing. Felt really safe and well informed. The announcements/explanations of Franc was superb, clear, and well paced. The speaker was clear too as we as a family of five was seating all the way at the last seats and could hear him well. The entire trip was pleasant and we were treated with respect from the start. Thank you 🙏🏽
