Amazing trip with Arief!

Thanks for an amazing trip today! The pickup was smooth, Arief was really friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the trip from beginning to end. The temples we visited were amazing, and the duration of each stop was adjusted so we could stay anywhere as long as we wanted. Would certainly recommend!!!

Great tour of the temples

The temples were beautiful. We really enjoyed the entire tour, Youss our host picked great restaurants for breakfast and lunch and was a great organizer and driver. Unfortunately we had a bunch of cloud cover for our sunrise and trip to the volcano but this is the one thing nobody can control. The tour is an excellent day spent and well worth the money!

Great tour

We went with JB Tours and our driver was Udik. Udik is a very nice and friendly guy, always willing to help. He never rushed us. The tour starts with the sunrise point (you’ll have to wake up early!). If you’re lucky (and we were) you’ll see the sun coming from behind the Merapi Volcano. Very nice. The next stop is Borobodur temple. It’s impressive, a wonder. You then head to the Merapi volcano, where you take a tour with a Jeep. Our driver there was Blondo, friendly and always laughing. We stopped in a couple of places, and we were supposed to go to the volcano base. But it was cloudy, and we saw nothing :( That’s nature! We had lunch in a touristy restaurant and headed to Prambanan temple. Another speechless wonder. One advice: on Mondays, both Borobodur and Prambanan are partially closed because of maintenance. In Borobodur you’d miss the stuppas and the statues, the most impressive parts. In Prambanan, you won’t be able to get in the temples. So, don’t go on a Monday.

Amazing experience, definitely worth to go!

We had an amazing day with our guide April and driver Bryan. Both were extremely friendly and we got a lot of interesting information about what we went to visit. When there was some extra time leftover, we even went to visit a local village to see how they made typical Indonesian snacks and a cool art gallery. Would definitely recommend!

Trip to Yogyakarta

We had a pleasure of joining a day tour with these two amazing tour guides April and Bryan, and it was an experience beyond compare. From start to finish, they demonstrated unparalleled knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm (but not towards the end cos we were already exhausted :-D). The early morning trip to Setumbu Hill was a tiny bit disappointed because there was no sunrise due to the fog but we had a blast hiking through the hill and the experience at the top was magical. April’s insightful commentary and knowledge made our walk to top more energetic especially at 5 AM. Next we went to Borobudur temple, the historical background shared by April made the ancient temple come alive, and we were able to appreciate its beauty in a whole new light. Her attention to detail and passion for the local culture made the visit truly enriching . We then ventured to Merapi Volcano guided by one of the local there and his explanations of the volcano’s history and its impact on the region were both captivating and informative. We also had a chance to roam around the area using the Jeep and it was a great experience. Plus, the water activity was hella fun! Before we went to our last stop which is Prambanan, we had a delighful local lunch close to it. At Prambanan, April’s stroytelling skills shone once again. Her explanation of the intricate carvings and the legends behind the temples were enthralling. The entire complex was a mesmerizing sight, and we were grateful to have such knowledgeable guides to enhance our understanding. What stood out throughout the day was not only April and Bryan’s professionalism but also their genuine warmth and friendliness, and April’s photography skills (that’s a plus which is super amazing and she knows how to shoot a video using just a phone). They were approachable, accommodating, and made us feel like old friends exploring the wonders of Yogyakarta together. If you’re looking for an unforgettable day tour to Borobudur, Merapi Volcano and Prambanan, I wholeheartedly recommend April and Bryan as your guides Their passion for their work, coupled with their deep knowledge of the region, made this journey an exceptional and memorable one. A wonderful place and many great people

A wonderful experience! I only spent 2 days in Jogja, so this tour let me see many amazing sights in a short time. It was just the right amount of activity for the day. My guide, Joko was friendly and helpful. If you like rock music, he has a fantastic playlist for you in his car! My guides at Merapi, Borobudur, and Prambanan were also great. They grew up in their respective locations, and this meant that they have lots of wisdom on the area. I learnt a lot from them!

Awesome Day tour

Perfect tour that cover the main attractions of Yogyakarta. This tour allow us to visit more places in one day as we were in Yogyakarta for limited number of days.With the transfers provided, there is no need to worry about the arrangements of transportation to go to each attractions.They contacted us a day before the tour to confirm the details about the tour. A shoutout to our driver,Bayo,who was engaging, very accommodating and knowledgeable.He brought and recommended to us places to eat for our breakfast and lunch.He had also share the history and the significance of the temples.Offered to help us take photos which turn out very nice.The tour also included guides that was informative. We took back home some knowledge about the history of these places after this tour. The guides and people involved on this tour made sure that we had a memorable and wonderful time.The jeep ride was fun we chose a water route that involved getting wet.The prambanan and borobudur temple is very majestic to see in real life. The only downside that is that we could not see the sunrise at punthuk setumbu as it was raining in the morning that day and the sun was covered by clouds. Apart from that, the setumbu hill has many nice spot to take photos with.The people there will gladly help you capture a picture of you with a nice view in the background.

Great tour!

The tour was really amazing and the best choice if you don’t have a outbid time to visit all the temples and sights around Yogyakarta in several days. The pickup and communication before the trip was easy and helpful, our driver Nanda was also amazing and we did a few stops to other temples that were not planned. I highly can recommend this tour!

Excellent day trip around Jogjakarta (Borobudur temple with sunrise, Mt Merapi and Prambanan temple). Beautiful views for pictures. Our driver, Nanda, was just amazing and answered all our questions. Great tour

Fabulous tour , the driver Nanda was superb, the temples were stunning and Nanda added value taking us to sone smaller ones while we waited for larger ones to open after seeing sunrise

Spectacular and simply mesmerising.

Our guide Nanda was superb. His English was good and very accommodating. He planned all the activities for the full day very well. The time we spent with Nanda was full of joy and laughter. He had a really great sense of humour and is a pleasure to be around with. Nanda also offered us numerous tips on things to do and eat in the beautiful city that he grew up in. I highly recommend anyone coming here to have him as your drive and guide.

I had two trips (Borobudur Tempel, Waterfalls and National Park & Prambaran Temple, Water and Sultans Palast) with this company and the driver Anang. Everything was well arranged and Anang was very friendly, helpful, speaks a good englisch and adjusted the trip (pick up time etc.) to my requirements. He explained me a lot about Indonesian culture, people and food. I really appreciate and enjoyed the trip. My personnel highlights of the trip were the Waterfalls, Prambaran Temple and the Water Palace. I could not hope for a better experience in Yogya

Surreal views with best tour guide

Yuni gave me an incredible tour. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about yogjakarta, Borobudur, Prambanan, Merapi, and Javanese culture. His English is excellent, he is very friendly and easy to talk to. He also takes excellent pictures and knows the best spots to take you to get the best views. Yuni reached out to me the night before my tour to confirm my hotel and arrived early to pick me up for the sunrise tour. I encourage everyone who can to take this tour, the temples are surreal and provides amazing insight into Javanese history and culture and if you are lucky you will have Yuni as your tour guide!

Unforgettable family trip with best driver Nanda

I traveled with my senior parents in late 70s who really wanted to visit Yogyakarta. We hired Nanda to accompany our 3 days trip. He was not only a great driver but also great resources to advise must-see tourist spots. In 2 days, we could conquer all the places we wanted to see as he was very organized and punctual on time. Also he made great recommendations for food and shopping, as my parents wanted to shop batik & eat Durian. His attitude is so great and humble and I highly recommend him for your next trip to Yogjakarta.

A must do activity when in Jogja

A must do activity when in Jogja! It was unfortunate that the sunrise at Setumbu Hill was heavily shrouded from the rain. The temples were also relatively crowded with students despite visiting during a holiday weekday. Despite that, our assigned driver guide Bagus had made this tour fun, pleasant and enjoyable! He was engaging, down-to-earth and would also recommend the best places to experience local food, and scenes. Great work Bagus!

An action-packed day trip for the first timer with an exceptional guide

The trip itself was just very good. Setumbu hills views with the sunrise were best. The jeep ride to Mount Merapi was fantastic. Borobudur and prambanan were also spectacular. But for us, the highlight was our guide YUNI. An exceptional service he gave to us, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and welcoming. We really recommend this tour for everyone!

4 Days 3 Nights Tour

We make this tour with KO KO (drive/guide). He is friendly and helpful person. Moreover, he is a very knowledgeable to explain regional knowledge. He organised everything for our tour (Airport transfer, lunch & dinner with local food, arrange for us hotel breakfast when we went to sunrise tour, temple tour with guide, cave tour, etc). Tour arrangement is very good mix with ancient temples and adventure tour. Unfortunately, we can't go up the temples because authorities did not allow to visit the upper stages of temples. Hopefully very near future, they will allow visitor to go up. If you want to visit Yogyakarta, we are highly recommended this tour with your vacation.

Excellent experience, highly recommend

I highly recommend this tour! My driver, Koko, communicated with me beforehand and picked me up at my hostel on time the morning of my tour. Having grown up in Yogyakarta, he was very knowledgeable and taught me many things about the region. He was very friendly and personable, his English was good, and he even taught me some new words in Indonesian! Car was clean, cool, and comfortable. As I went in the rainy season, Borobudur sunrise was pretty cloudy unfortunately, but still very beautiful and worth it. The tour of Borobudur was incredible and so would highly recommend anyone go there. Afterwords, we picked up some lunch before going to Merapi. I loved the jeep ride and the museum. We had some coffee before heading to our final stop, Prambanan temple. I enjoyed that one as much as Borobudur. The tour was very informative, and Koko waited patiently as I explored the temple complex for an hour or so. After a long day, he took me back to Kotex Jogja and dropped me off at the train station as per my request. I say again, I highly recommend this tour! I learned so many things I never would have on my own, and I’m already planning my next trip to Indonesia!

We had such a great experience! Our guide, Nanda, was very nice & friendly and very courteous. He made sure we were good and happy with our excursion and made some extra stops for some delicious local food! He helped us so much and gave us many recommendations for Yogyakarta.

Visit to Borobudur and Prambanan

I did a tour with Nasir today (01/12/2022), and he is a good driver and a good guide. He knows how to avoid the traffic of the city. He speaks english, and he organised everything for the travel (the driving, the pickup, and drop-off, the guide for the temples). High recommended. Ivan
