Adventure of a Lifetime!

The day was clear and the air was crisp! Will, our guide, gave our ride instructions, took us up and down the mountain safely. And did we go UP! The view down into the valley was beautiful!!! If you're thinking about taking a snowmobile ride, THIS IS THE ONE! While still on our trip, we went back on last night in Whistler and explored the Vallea Lumina walk, it was so beautiful. Something you definitely want to do as a family or even if you're with friends.

WOW, what an amazing snowmobiling experience. The views were incredible, the terrain was great fun, the machines were in great condition and our guide George was amazing! He made sure that we had the best time out on the trails but could see he was keeping an eye out for everyone the whole time! Having George as our guide really made the tour for us!

Epic ride, best guide ever!

Snowmobile adventure in the snowy wilderness? Oh yeah, it’s as epic as it sounds. Got this as a birthday gift, and honestly, my expectations were low. But WOW—this was a blast! The views? Insane. The mountains? Totally majestic. Escaping from the grey vibes of Raincouver to a sunny snow-dreamland? 10/10 would recommend. Snow-covered trees, fresh trails, and pure aesthetic joy. Heads up though: this stuff is dangerously fun. Like, how have I gone this long without trying snowmobiling? And why didn’t anyone tell me it’s this awesome? Pretty sure I’ll be asking Santa for a snowmobile next year. (Husband, if you’re reading this, take notes!) IIt’s fast, it’s loud, and it handles corners like a drunk hippo—by which I mean it’s hilariously awesome. !!!Huge props to our guide, who was a total legend. He’s British (sorry, I didn’t catch the name), and apparently, he came to BC for “four months”... three years ago. Guess he fell in love with this place, and honestly, same. He was super knowledgeable, ridiculously kind, and so passionate about snowmobiles. His enthusiasm was so contagious! He showed us jaw-dropping spots, answered all our questions, gave us a crash course in snowmobiles AND avalanche safety. Absolute legend!!! Honestly, this was one of the best things I’ve ever done. If you’re in Whistler, DO IT. You’ll thank me later!

Snow fest

Came here for snowshoe hike, snowmobiling and night time light show. Not disappointed. Everything was excellent, safety paramount and all needs catered for. Can't fault them

Amazing fun of fun customized for our family

From the moment we walked into the storefront to book we knew it was going to be an amazing experience. Every employee is super knowledgeable and they made recommendations for our family. Shuttle picked us up right on time and delivered us to base camp. James our guide made sure we felt comfortable operating the sleds and then took us for an amazing ride. He stopped to check in on us and handled any hiccups seamlessly. He added a fun and super cool factor to the tour that the kids loved! They also added on the zipline which had gorgeous views and equally kind and knowledgeable guides that encouraged my reluctant 10yo. We returned at night for Valley Luminea and it was the perfect magical end to the day. Besides being thoroughly exhausted we have no complaints! The add-on packages are a great deal. While there is a warming hut and snacks for purchase, as well as complimentary hot chocolate, I would recommend packing a lunch if you are going to be on site all day.

Amazing Day Out

Luis was an amazing guide such a fun day out! He took us on a great track with the ski mobiles. Would highly recommend doing this adventure.

All round excellent!

Fantastically well organised. I Contacted before booking and Michael couldn’t have been more helpful! Helped me organise a tour with the add on illumination for later in the day. The whole experience started well , really friendly and super helpful staff when we arrived and our snowmobile guides were excellent and catered for everyone in our party so we all got what we wanted from the experience. I can absolutely see why they have so many 5* reviews! Here’s one more!!

3 part adventure

I ziplined, snowmobiled AND snowshoed with TAG. I had a BLAST! Guides clearly explained safety features. All staff were courteous and encouraging. Seems like a bright personality is a prerequisite to working with TAG. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Amazing Experience

A great experience for all ages!

As a total beginner to snowmobiles, (and a woman in my 50's) I felt very well supported and safe on my first ride. My guide kept to a speed that I was happy with and gave us ample time for photo opportunities. I really enjoyed seeing the forest from a different vantage. Highly recommend if you're a bit of a thrill seeker like me!

Awesome snowmobile tour

This was our second snowmobile tour, but our first with The Adventure Group. My son and I went in January 2023 and were lucky enough to be the only ones on our tour, as the other family didn't show up in time. Our guide was fabulous and made sure my son had plenty of time on the mini snowmobile. We had a great time, and reached some high speeds, which was really exhilarating. A good variety of paths and terrain, not so much in regard to photo opportunities or scenic views. The only downside to The Adventure Group is both times we have visited (January 2022 and January 2023) there has not been a shuttle bus, so we have had to pay a taxi $20-25 CAD each way.

Brilliant snowmobiling tour with TAG

Brilliant tour with TAG through the ancient pine and cedar forests of Cougar Mountain. First time driving for my 22 and 19 year old 'kids'. Guide Connor friendly, informative and patient and made the whole tour good fun. Helpful to be able to borrow outerwear/boots to make sure we stayed warm and dry. Transport from the village to the base area quick and easy. Great to see another side to Whistler away from the skiing.

Best Experience Ever

Our tour guide - Mia - was fantastic! She was friendly and caring, ensuring our safety was her first priority. She guided us through the narrow paths ending on the top of the mountain with amazing views. We had such a great time with Mia!

Terrible Experience

We had a terrible experience with Adventure Group. My wife and 3 kids went Snowmobiling and the guide did a really poor job managing my family with 2 other young adults who wanted to go really fast. We signed up for the beginner snowmobiling and should have been placed with other families with kids. Instead Adventure Group placed us with 2 young adult men who were intermediate snowmobiling drivers. It made us really uncomfortable because the guide should have been catering to our family with my teenage driver and 11 year old, instead she was catering to the 2 young adults and going really fast down the steep mountain. This is the first time I have ever written a poor review but unfortunately Adventure Group did a poor job making snowmobiling a safe, fun experience.

Snow mobiling is a must do in Whistler in the Winter!

We had a great time as a family of four (8 and 10 year old kids) on the snowmobile tour. Our guide James was awesome-we felt safe, learned some local geography and he offered to take photos to make the experience memorable. The kids loved driving the mini snow mobiles in the middle of the tour. We left a pair of kid’s gloves and the staff was helpful and friendly and we got them back when we returned to zip line later in the week. We had booked the snow mobiles late the day before and the staff was also helpful in fitting us in and making everything run smoothly. We’d definitely recommend this tour for winter fun in Whistler.

First time riding a snowmobil

My sister and I gave my dad this snowmobile tour for his birthday. It was a lot of fun for all of us. We all had our own snowmobile, the guide explained everything very precisely and took us on a really exciting trail. It was a very fun experiece!

DAN’S THE MAN

Dan was hands down the best snowmobile guide we could have ever asked for. He made us feel very safe with a thorough safety briefing but he also let us GRIP IT AND RIP IT when the time came!! He took us to see the most breathtaking viewpoint of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. The terrain was really fun, fast and moderately challenging. If you’re looking for alpine views, old growth forests and an all around good time, this snowmobile tour is for you. You can’t go wrong with Dan from London, Ontario as your guide!!

Unforgettable experience!

My group had such a fun time snowmobiling today! Was a gorgeous setting - really magical - and the staff were all awesome ! James our tour guide was really good at explaining everything, being patient and was also pretty funny! Would 10/10 recommend.

Amazing, fun and memorable experience

Would give more stars if it was possible!! We had the most fabulous time snowmobiling with our tour guide James. James was such a great guide- patient, kind, a good listener, explained instructions very clearly, and made the entire adventure very enjoyable! I am already looking forward to the next adventure with TAG!

Wonderful time

5 stars all over!! We had such a great experience visiting TAG today, from the transport at the outset we knew we were in for a fun day! We arrived at the base and met our tour guide James who was very fast to strrike up great relationships with our group and took us on an unforgettable tour through the forrest. James was awesome and I hope you all get to experience a tour with him!

once in a lifetime experience! amazing views, trails, and riding conditions throughout the full tour. Our guide, Eden was fantastic and knowledgeable. she made me and my friend feel safe and made sure we were having the best time of our lives. Definitely doing it again next year.

Incredible experience

First time snowmobiling and we couldn’t have had a more awesome experience! We did the beginner wilderness explorer tour and our guide, Dan, was fantastic. He made sure everyone in our group was comfortable and safe, thank you Dan!! Super fun, would recommend and return.

Great day with great views!

We had a great blue bird tour in the morning with oir guide Kayla, she was great with explaining everything before hand and took us to some amazing view spots while on the tour! Would recommend this to anyone visiting or living in Whistler!

Perfect Snowmobile Fun!!

It was a dream to ride through the snowy pathways here! The views of the mountains and trees covered in snow were fun to drive through on the ski-doo! The staff/tour guide are friendly and helpful in making this experience a Great one! You won't regret you decided to do a snowmobiling tour except that you wished it could have lasted longer!! Great snowmobile experience

Tour lasted 2+ hours, a great mix of long trails and sinuous paths in beautiful forest, (overlooking the lake at times, surrounded by mountains), a few stops at scenic spots. Very professional and friendly staff (our guide was Arthur from Brussels, Belgium, 5☆), highly recommended, especially with teenagers

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE, GREAT LOCATION

We came as a group of six on four sleds. Our guide Dan was absolutely fantastic. He was calm, friendly and approachable and clearly had safety at the forefront of his mind at all times. He adapted the tour as we went along to ensure all group members were happy, even giving us a chance to have a 'play'! Dan is an asset to the TAG company and ensured we had an outstanding experience. The whole experience was faultless from checkin at customer services all the way through to leaving the Base camp. Good value for money, they even gave us warm boots! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Thank you

The Adventure Group (TAG) Whistler Snowmobiling

The beauty and excitement of snowmobiling in fresh powder Our guide, Arthur, was awesome. Arthur explained things well and guided us on beautiful trails stopping to appreciate and photograph the snow capped mountains and frozen lakes.

Alejandro is great! Spectacular tour guide! We had so much fun on our snowmobile tour through Cougar mountain the scenery was incredible! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Snowmobile Experience with Dan Our Guide

The best experience for a family and group of friends. Dan was the best guide, ensuring we all felt comfortable throughout the whole experience. The transport to the Adventure Park that they organised for us was helpful and easy. Our driver gave us lots of good tips. Overall such a good experience when in Whistler.

Snowmobile blast!

The staff is amazing they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and if not they will accommodate you. Good job guys! My favorite part was our team leader of the group. It made me realize how long it's been since I've been on a snowmobile. The part where they explain how to operate the vehicle was impressive. I use to hop on and go lol there is a lot more than just doing that. Safety us important especially no knowing the trails and conditions. Kasley is a great team leader. Making us aware of avalanche alley, stopping and checking on us making sure we are enjoy ourselves, when turnjng sharp bends ect. Amazingly got to check out some awesome scenic spots. I went on March 9th in the morning on a nice sunny day. A little chilly on the chin but it won't stop me from having fun! I'll be coming back Cheers, Douglas B

WINTER WONDERLAND

This was an amazing adventure. Ryan was a great guide. He was constantly watching from the front. I didn't want it to end.

Andy was great!

Our guide Andy was great, he made sure to check in regularly with new and less experienced drivers. He gave us some options for how to spend the second half of our tour. I love that our group was only 5 participants. Lots of fun, would definitely do it again.

Highly recommended group tour

Dan was our tour guide and he was excellent. He was clear with his instructions from the start and tailored the tour's speed to our comfort level, which increased with time. His friendly nature made the outing very enjoyable. We got some awesome photos thanks to him. We would definitely come back and do another tour!

Had such an incredible day out there. First time going on a snowmobile tour and it surpassed my expectations. Our more than exceptional guide Ryan got us to the best views. He was not only kind and funny but professional. It was very appreciated and made us feel so comfortable and confident. Amazing experience

Absolutely amazing, a little bit expensive but loved the experience, our guid Andy, was awesome and really cool. The route is just perfect and the skidoo’s were in good shape

The best day!

For us non skiers that still wanted to experience Whistler, this was the perfect day! Our guide, Noah, was awesome. We felt safe, but still had a blast on the snowmobiles. The views were incredible! We highly recommend this tour group.

Fun times!

We had a lovely time with our host Dan. Dan was very observant and made sure everyone felt safe and was traveling at an enjoyable pace. The tour was quite long so it felt like we got our money's worth. There was a kid riding with his father on the tour and Dan surprised him with a small sized snowmobile that he was able to rip around for a little while. It's nice they have that for the kids to try. We booked our activities 2 hours apart so they team moved up our reservation so we didn't have to wait as long outside in the cold. They also offered us a hot chocolate to warm up with beside the fire. Excellent service! I wish there was an option to add a tip to the reservation using a credit card. We forgot to bring cash with us and would have loved to show our appreciation to them.
