Never too old to try something new!

Tired of same old! so we decided to try something new. And Forged Axe Throwing was awesome. I thoroughly recommend it for all ages of adults 19-90 We are 3 mature ladies (upper 15% of age range) and 1 younger daughter, and we had a blast. Staff were amazing, facility easy to find, and best of all we just had a really good time!

Fun & full of laughter

What a wonderful experience I had on Wednesday, November 6th. It was my first time participating in Axe throwing. The staff were great, the facilities were incredible. We were welcomed with open arms. The energy was amazing and the entire event was brilliant. Alex was our host and made it all so enjoyable and fun. Daye night axe throwing!

We had never done axe throwing before and our host Rozy was so helpful and made the whole experience so fun!! Favourite part were the games and trick shot we learned!

Absolutely amazing experience!

Absolutely amazing experience! And a huge shout out to our host Will for making it that much better. I highly recommend Forged Axe Throwing - Whistler to everyone for an incredible time. I went for my bachelorette in a group of 9 gals with a public lane for one hour and it was perfect. Will showed us exactly what to do and even added different throws throughout the hour to keep the excitement levels up. I personally have an injury to my right (dominant) shoulder / arm and Will made sure I was still included! Even throwing with my left arm I was able to have a blast and hit the board more than once. I cannot say enough good things about FAT Whistler and of Will. Thank you for the amazing experience! Every one of us left raving about our time there and we were all smiling and laughing throughout the entire hour. I will definitely be back, hopefully next time throwing with both arms 😊

I've been to other places and this one is hands-down the best experience I've ever had. Love the guided feature and they always make it fun and interactive! The staff is always fun and friendly, and the venue has an awesome vibe you don't get anywhere else. Will continue to highly recommend this experience to others!!!!

We all had a fun filled hour. And everyone has request that we try this again. The whole family came out full of excitement and happiness.

A lot of fun with friends, would do it again on a future trip here! The instructor gave us good tips and had fun games to play!

Great activity for families with teens

This was great fun, enjoyed by adults and teenagers. Structured session, including mini-competitions, helped us make the most of it. About 10-15 minutes drive from the Upper Village where we were staying.

Simple and incredibly enjoyable

Great fun. Staff were friendly and our hour flew by. Despite the simplicity of axe throwing the variation in techniques and competitions kept it fun and interesting.

Great afternoon activity in Whistler for teen boys

A fantastic activity to add to your Whistler plans (whether it is summer or winter)! Lots of fun for all ages (especially teenagers - took two of them here for an hour of axe throwing and both loved it). Great location and more importantly amazing staff! Huge shout out to Shaun who took care of us and had us up and throwing bullseyes in no time (literally had all four lanes hitting the bullseye at the same time on the trick shot.... the hat toss to get on the photo wall is the hardest part!

Axes + Rozy = a winning combination

We were fortunate to have Rozy as our Guide and Rozy might be the nicest person I've ever met. She seemed genuinely interested in our efforts and really kept us on our toes with trick shots and contests. A very enjoyable experience. Rozy for Prime Minister.

Fun Family activity for Teenagers or adults

What a fun family outing during a few hours of bad weather. The staff was great at teaching us the techniques and we played different competitive games. My daughter even made it on the Hall of Fame board. Thanks for a great time.

Incredible time!

Brett! My guide Brett was so great and amazing at teaching and guiding my partner and I. He made the whole experience fun as he encouraged us and supported us throughout our time there. I would highly recommend doing this axe throwing activity. Thank you for such a great time!

Tons of fun for families!

Tons of fun for families! Great competitive spirit and learned a lot from our guide! This is the perfect thing to do in Whistler when it is raining or you want something different!

George was amazing and made our one hour experience go by so fast because he was so good at hosting a friendly, competitive, fun experience. We met nice people at the same time. I highly recommend this activity!

Feeling Viking for a day

This was an absolutely awesome activity! It was fun to throw those heavy axes with friends. The trainers were excited to have us.

Fun side trip

We loved our axe throwing excursion! Super fun side trip if you take a day off from skiing and snowboarding. We loved the games to add an element of fun competition. Our guide was also super friendly - overall, very enjoyable experience.

Great fun

We were looking for something to do on one of our off days of skiing. we checked out forged ax and decided to go. Never done it before and it was a lot of fun. We were put head to head against another team and although they said they were first timers we got our butts kicked and he got on the wall of fame in two contests LOL. Great fun

A very fun thing to do if you've never experienced it.

We really enjoyed this activity as a family. We've never done this before and doing this didn't disappoint. And you will get tired of throwing those axes by the end of the activity. I hope more people will experience this when they visit whistler. It is affordable with great memories.

Blades of Glory

Took my team from Discover Canada Tours to go and experience this activity in Whistler. What a fun team bonding event. After the safety speech in the entrance we proceeded to a separate area with bar facilities and plenty of axes. Our host Ted was amazing, lots of punny jokes and also took time to individually coach each person. We feel we are now prepared for the zombie apocalypse (haha). As an added bonus the location is awesome. Nestled between a couple of breweries and an awesome pizza spot so worth the trip to Function. WORTH THE VISIT .

Fun team building

Bucket list team activity we did with our 20 person office. Easy to learn and satisfying. Some of the least ‘Athletic’ were the best throwers. Felt safe and well informed. 3 younger kids with us who loved it.

Great fun

Great fun and very satisfying when you get it right. We had a great instructor and really enjoyed it. Very good for working out any frustration you may have.

Wow - SO much fun! George made the whole hour a lot of fun. Not only did we get to throw axes, but he coached us on techniques and tips to improve your game. Learned a lot about the sport, different ways to throw and they even made fun games for us for some healthy competition! Highly recommend visiting if you're in whistler. Great indoor activity for when it's raining, too.

SO. MUCH. FUN! 10/10 would highly recommend this fabulous Whistler experience. We had Tristan as our guide, and he and Ted went out of their way to make our first visit a total blast. We’re a family of 4, with a 10 year old who was a little gun-shy…but we all had an amazing time. Super informative, great instructions, fun ‘games’ - an overall fabulous time. We’ll definitely be back!

Axe-mania!

Great outing for our family of five. We had never done anything like this before and wanted to give our kids (twin 13 yo girls and 10 yo boy) a new memory from our latest trip to Whistler. Easy straightforward booking and the great staff our guided tour facilitator was awesome and made the hour seem to go by very fast. Definitely recommend!

Fun activity for all the family & something you wouldn't get in the UK!

Thoroughly enjoyable activity for all the family, even though I was rubbish at it! Connor was brilliant & set up some games between us & family using next alley which made it more fun. Would highly recommend.

Our team visited Forged Axe Throwing this week and from start to finish we had an awesome time! Our hosts were great coaches and gave us tips on how to improve our axe-throwing game. We played games and quickly saw who was the most competitive on our team. A great way to spend time with friends and an awesome team building activity, thank you!!!!

A good time for sure

Went with a large group booking. Never been before. It was a great time! The host helped us learn some skills, and play some games. And I managed to make the wall of fame by gettting a double bullseye.

Best Fun throwing axes with my niece ever

Staff was awesome and amazing and great and did I mention awesome? Also very good at resisting my requests to do some cray cray tricks which means they really do focus on the safety aspect… I throw knives and axes a lot at home so know it can be dangerous if done innapripriately… absolutely 10 out of 10 for all their attention to being fun and safe.

Fantastic Birthday Experience

I was in Whistler for my birthday and we decided to try something different and booked a one hour axe throwing appointment with an instructor. RIley was amazing! Very patient and kind for two very inept students. LOL. We had the best time, and the happiness and laughter that occurred when we actually hit something can only be described as priceless! Thank you again to Riley and the team that made us feel so welcome!

Bullseye activity for a group

I’ve always wanted to try axe throwing. This is a fun, well explained, and relatively quick activity. Went with a work group of 20. Downside: there is a fair bit of standing around if you have a large group. Upside: it is a very fun bonding experience. The best athletes are not necessarily the best axe throwers. Suitable for kids 8/9 years onward.

Best axe throwing ever

What a great time at Forged. This is our third time axe throwing and this was by far and away the best experience we have had. Nice to have some friendly competition with the group in the next lanes and being guided through some trick shots really made it and awesome experience!
