Had an absolute awesome time on this tour. The guide Brandan was excellent gave little historic stories on the way to the tour and was very accommodating to nervous and motion sick riders.

Snowmobile tour rocks!

An excellent afternoon spent in the Canadian wilderness on the back of a snowmobile. What a fantastic way to spend those days you’re not on the mountain skiing or boarding. Thanks to our wonderful guide (Tom), our whole family had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and felt in very safe and knowledgeable hands throughout. Callaghan Crusier

Callaghan trails were stunningly beautiful and easy for beginner snowmobile riders like us! The shuttle and gear hut nicely organized and efficient. Drivers, guides and staff super friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend this as a memorable experience for anyone visiting Whistler!

Yukon Breakfast - the breakfast of champions.

The staff treat you like gold from the moment the tour starts. Once kitted up our guide, Brock, was excellent and taught us everything that was needed with skill and clarity. From there things just only got better, if that’s possible. The challenge of the ride was both exhilarating and fun, add to that the landscape, view and expert guidance, arriving at the cabin for breakfast was just half done. After knocking back a typical backcountry breakfast in the most majestic location, it’s back on the machines to up the anti and do a bit of fast action play on the frozen lake before taking the back tracks back to base camp. This is a tour not to be missed, it will challenge you, it will excite you. It is the complete experience, all done with professionalism and know how.

Beginner Snowmobile Fun!

Our guide Tammy was fabulous! She was incredibly patient with the slower riders and has a wonderful personality for tours. The beginner tour is short and slow, so if you have some experience with jet skis/ATVs you might choose something a little "more". However, it allowed my daughter and I to get a few hours out doing something different together, as I am a bit more cautious than she is. She ziplined while in Whistler as well and absolutely loved it. Both tours are definitely worth the money!

Great Snowmobile experience with Brandon

Fun snowmobile tour with Brandon - had 2 kids, one was a "squirrel" who rode in the front with Brandon, and the other kid rode in the back with an adult. Check the official guides but when we went - kids need to be 48" to ride in the back with the adult or at least 43 " to ride in the front only with the guide. Kids CANNOT ride in the front with their parent. Brandon was a great teacher and guide, and took care of our little one; by the end of the tour she was super comfortable with him and said she loved the experience! We had a bigger group that met at the lodge but when we went out on snowmobiles, they split us up with different guides which was really nice so we only had 5 snowmobiles total, which allowed us to be more flexible than if we had everyone in one group. You need GLOVES, not mittens if you're driving. They have all the gear you need, but if you want to use your own, it has to be finger-gloves. You also have to use their official full face helmet. Easy experience to book online; some hotels offer discount codes. Meet at Carleton Lodge right by the Whistler Village gondolas and they take you to the bus. Oh and we had a bonus that Calum drove our bus and he had great music playing on the drive! No experience needed, but driving a snowmobile does take some work, so if you want to just cruise, go as a passenger.

Absolute best with Zac!

My family and I did this tour on NYE and it was simply the best! Whilst the hubby was a confident motorbike rider, I had never ridden anything before and felt extremely comfortably! Our tour guide Zac was the best! He was fun, informative and really assessed the group so we could be pushed to our limits but also with safety in mind too. Overall I’d highly recommend this. And make sure you ask for Zac!! - Family of 4 from Australia!

Great guide-Anne

Anne was a great guide, very knowledgeable and experienced. The conditions were rough and a bit crowded, so Anne had a lot of navigating to manage.

Cool concept and beautiful countryside but not worth the money.

We were hoping for more wilderness and while the countryside was beautiful, there were a ton of snowmobilers around all the time. Anna, our guide, was super knowledgeable, upbeat and lovely. The trail had a whole lot of whoopees, almost like a washboard and was not much fun and uncomfortable to ride. The various skill levels of the writers in our group slowed down the whole process and it always felt like we were on our way to somewhere but never really arrived. It was a well run organization but not worth the money and I wouldn’t do it again.

This active was amazing, would definitely recommend to friends and family. We had an excellent instructor Craig who was very knowledgeable and a great cook Joan who made our Canadian Christmas breakfast one to remember

Snow Mobile breakfast tour

The snow mobile breakfast tour was the highlight of my Canadian trip. Craig was so knowledgeable and a fantastic trainer. You could tell he loved his job, even when he was working on Christmas Day. The breakfast by Joan was so delicious, he was so welcoming and friendly.

Yukon Breakfast Tour is Incredible!

The Yukon breakfast snowmobile is an incredible way to get out of the Whistler village and see the mountains. Brock was an incredible guide that provided fun and safe instructions and the hut breakfast was delicious. Would recommend!

Ready to go again

This was our first time riding a snowmobile and it didn't disappoint. Our guide, Alejandro, made learning easy and kept it fun. I am ready to go snowmobiling again!

Bring your things..or not

If you don't have the proper clothing for the cold and snow, it doesn't matter, they will lend you all you need, including snow pants and boots.

Great tour with Juan!!

Juan was our guide and was outstanding! He was very patient with us, and all in the tour, and provided a great safe environment! All of my family had a great time and I would highly recommend Juan as a guide!!

Really made our Whistler trip!

We did the snowmobile tour with our young kids and it was honestly amazing!!! Our guide Brock was so patient and accommodating with us really made the tour amazing! Our kids also fell in love with his dog. Will 100% do again!

Amazing experience

My husband and I had a fantastic experience snowmobiling in Callaghan Valley. The Wilderness team was incredibly accommodating; booking us a private tour last minute. Our driver Tom was incredibly personable and made sure we made it to base camp safely. Our snowmobile guide, Zach, was just wonderful. As beginners, he made sure we were safe the whole time and was an excellent teacher. He also took incredible pictures of us and ensured we had the best time. Highly recommend this company (and Zach for a guide)!

Family snowmobiling fun

Our 2 families had so much fun on this adventure. The tour group were also very accommodating to my mother-in-law who had injured her leg before the trip. The machines were easy to use. Our guide, Tammy was so much fun and made us all feel at ease. The view at the turn around point was fantastic. We all loved it

We had a great time with family with the guide Alexandro.Snow mobiliing was fun and cool.I had kids of ages 10 and 13.They enjoyed riding with us.But all credits again to our guide Alexandro.He was consistently making sure that we are all safe.Go for it guys

Snowmobiling Fun!!

Fun time with Sascha as our tour guide! Great weather and loved the elevation and scenery we got to see :) Would definitely go again! They also provided a lot of appropriate gear for our tour so we were well equipped for the weather.

Alfie is All That.

Alfie was amazing. Felt so safe with him and we had so much fun. The history of the area and all the pictures he took for us made this trip amazing. We also got to meet Hazie who is the most beautiful dog!

Fun snowmobile trip for first timers

A fantastic day of ATV’s & Snowmobiles. Our guide was Brock and his beautiful dog 🐶 Banjo !! who could not have been more friendly, explaining the controls on the vehicles and giving advise on riding styles …. the views were amazing and this trip is highly recommended 👌👌

An Experience to Remember!

This was a great adventure! Our guide, Brock, was really friendly and always there to give his full experience and support to everyone involved. We took ATV’s up the mountain, where we transferred to the snowmobiles. The views were amazing and I would recommend to anyone! We were greeted with Brocks friendly dog, Banjo, at the start and finish of the tour!

Incredible experience - missing it if you don’t go

This tour was 100% the most amazing thing we’ve done in Canada. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the scenery was incredible and it was just SO MUCH FUN! We went in spring so we got to do half on ATVs going through mud pools and half on the snowmobiles adventuring through tracks between trees with outstanding views. This is a must do, would do it again in a heart beat.

Amazing Experience

Just did the ATV + Snowmobile combo tour with our guide Tom. Tom was an amazing guide and went out of his way to make sure our adventure was exciting. He noticed early on that the others in our group were not at our level of experience and put them in a more appropriate group so we could enjoy ride to the fullest....Even adding in the time we lost waiting for him to further organize the groups. Tom was friendly, knowledgeable and informed us on our surroundings and some of the history of the area. I will defiantly go back and do this, or other CWA Adventures!!!

Gotta do it while you’re here!

Great fun snowmobiling with our guide @Sasha and our colleagues. They have all the gear you need, take you up to the snowy area in ATVs, which was also fun. Definitely recommend you do this trip when you’re here!!

Amazing as always

As a family, we did a snowmobile tour with Alfie . He was super accommodating and encouraging. Highly recommend this tour and this company. We ran into Callum who had taken us on a separate tour the year prior, he is also a brilliant guide. Whatever they’re paid, it isn’t enough!

Ski-Dos - Don't be put off in late season by less snow!

We did the shorter family experience with our two boys age 9 and 11. The fact the snow had gone down at base camp meant we had an extra treat getting to the ski-dos by ATV! Please don't be put off by less snow this part of the trip we also great fun! Loads of fun and great views, a great introduction toe ski-dos for young families.

Alfie our guide was awesome. We had an awesome time. He took breaks where kids were able to do snowball fights and got tons of great pictures

Friendly staff, beautiful ride

It was a beautiful day, our guide Sasha was laid back, but serious regarding safety. He was knowledgeable and made everyone feel comfortable from the beginning. The staff at the lodge were all very welcoming and gave us all friendly, top notch service. If you are a beginner, this is the ride for you.

Fun and Safe for First Timers

Calum kept us safe while teaching us how to drive a snowmobile. Calum was not only informative but also made our time on the tour fun. My husband and I highly recommend this tour for people who have never driven a snowmobile.

Snowmobiling through wonderland!

Admittedly we had fab weather for our snowmobile trip but is was so beautiful. All the staff at CW were so helpful from the front desk guys to the instructors who took us up the hill. It was our first time (my husband said he'd waited 50 years to do it) and we were not disappointed. It was so much fun, scenery was fantastic and the tuition for beginners was really clear. Thank you!

Best birthday present ever!

Driving through the alpine trees where the snow was piled high on the branches and the blue sky in the background. Also, Georgia was an amazing guide who let us cut loose on the frozen lake !! But don't tell anybody...

Sascha was our guide and was amazing! He drove us to the site, made sure we had all of the gear we needed and then took us on our adventure. He made sure we were all comfortable on our snowmobiles and made sure no one got left behind. The tour was really fun and we felt safe. I would completely recommend this adventure. We had 4 family members participating ages 9-68!
