A fun evening

We enjoyed going to several different establishments and hearing about and tasting the wines. The tour guide, Lucas was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed getting to know him.

Lots of fun and highly informative. Learnt a lot and tried some delicious wines in the process. The tour was expertly curated: the perfect length, some lovely venues. Charming and knowledgeable host.

Wien by Wine

This was an active and unique way to see Vienna. Harry was an exceptional guide. Our first stop was to a quaint wine shop. The owner met with us and explained his Viennese inventory while we enjoyed a tasting. We walked across the first district enjoying its Christmas decorations and markets. For our second stop, we went to a bar known for its air-dried hams (and its wines). Harry has a “secret” third stop that is a remarkable historical watering hole. And finally, we enjoyed a bottle with locals north of the city center. This tour will keep you walking (and tasting) with plenty of time for dinner afterward. A great experience.

Fantastic Tour Guide!

Harry was an absolutely wonderful guide. He took us to little known places in Vienna and we were able to learn more about the city, the culture, and the incredible wine. He truly made us feel at home. I could not be more appreciative for this experience.

Amazing activity! The guide it self was friendly and nice person. He told us lot of interesting facts about wine and city. We enjoyed every minute of the tour.

A must do tour in Vienna

This tour went beyond our expectations. Harry is an excellent guide, vey personable and fun. We had such a great time. The wine was amazing, the food was delicious. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Fantastic tour

Our minds & taste buds were blown away with how great this tour was. So much fun with those who were there and the 5 wines were all magnificent. Our guide (Harry) was very knowledgeable and he made the tour a really great experience. I can't rate this highly enough and would recommend to everyone of all levels of wine knowledge and experience.

Incredible experience!

Amazing experience with a very knowledgeable tour guide. We ended up getting a private tour since no one else signed up for our time. It's an excellent way to get to know the area and drink some great wine along the way.

Great experience

took this wine tasting tour with two of my friends. Great experience, definetely recommend it to those who live in Vienna for a long time, like us, and to the tourists who would like to get to know Austrian wines better! Was impressed by the last location in the tour, really appreciated the special atmosphere and fell in love with the idea.

An excellent way to spend an evening in Austria

Good fun tour. Learned a lot about Australian wine which was the purpose of the tour. The information before you take the tour and Lukas makes clear at the beginning of the tour that it is not about Austrian History but about the history of Austrian Wine and its development. Very knowledgeable guide and very friendly and happy to answer questions. He also happy to recommend restaurants and bars and gives tips on getting the best value for money. Highlight of the tour is a visit to the "secret" wine cellar which is for members only and not something you can experience on your own. We were in a lovely group of 8 which made the whole evening very entertaining and informative. Well worth the money and keep up the good work Lucas.

Lovely tour of off the beaten track wine spots in Vienna.

We were in Vienna for a few days only and being wine lovers but not knowing anything about Austrian wine, we thought this tour would be a good way of getting to know both Vienna and Austrian wine. It did not disappoint us. We had a lovely time with Lukas and his "secret place" cellar was fabulous! A really great evening.

Excellent! Would recommend doing this tour when you first arrive as you get a lot of tips on how to spend the rest of your trip.

Educational and enjoyable

Our tour guide Lukas, has received mixed reviews on Trip Advisor, which almost put us off booking to be honest. But I'm glad we pursued it. Lukas is punctual, knowlegeable, speaks great English and is passionate about wine. He is perhaps a little slow to warm up, and his dry, sometimes caustic, humour may not suit all folk. But he's young, which often means straight talking - especially in this neck of the woods - and that's useful if you want honest recommendations, so hang in there. The tour itself involves four very different stops and some lovely wine and ham. It's not about the food; if this is what you want, book another tour. You see some beautiful parts of Vienna and you'll come away with very useful tips for future eateries. Lukas is understandably disparaging about some of the more touristy cafes and restaurants but happy to recommend alternatives. We tried one and were delighted at the lack of queue, delicious goulash and cheery waiter. Thanks Lukas!

Simply the best Walking Talking Drinking

The entire evening proved to be a fantastic experience. The Company gelled the guide was not just knowledgeable he was topical and led us to four different venues each with different wines to experience and totally different atmospheres. The secret wine club was an eye-opener, what this young man doesnt know about wine and his country and his opinion internationally were startlingly revealing. We both loved it! Definitely go if you love wine and interesting foodie nibbles.

We had a fabulous evening with our guide Lukas.He was very knowledgeable and informative with a great personality.The wines and hams were a delight and full of surprises. Would highly recommend.

Miss the food

In the ad it stated come hungry and thirsty but the only food we got was some ham. Would have been nice to have some small dishes at every place. The wines were good and the guide great.

Beautiful culinary evening

A very nice evening with a walk through the city center of Vienna, very good wines and information about grape varieties etc. Also highly recommended for Viennese / Viennese residents :)

Tolle Tour mit klasse Weinen

Es war eine tolle Tour mit Hari, mit super Weinen und wirklich guten Gesprächen. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Wien werden wir wieder eine Tour buchen.

God tur

God og hyggelig aften med Food Tour hvor vi smagte nogle forskellige vine og var på flere restauranter og i den spændende Wine Bank 12 meter under jorden. Der var også en skinkesmagning med, som smagte rigtig godt.

Wir waren begeistert

Lukas war überpünktlich vor Ort und hat die gemischte Gruppe eingesammelt. Es wurde nicht mit Wein gegeizt und als er später erfahren hat, dass ein Pärchen Hochzeitstag gefeiert hat, wurde noch eine Magnumflasche geöffnet 😄 nach 4 statt 3 Stunden hat er sich verabschiedet.

....ein wunderbarer und geschmackvoller Abend ....

Wir waren sehr neugierig, was uns an diesem Abend erwarten wird und wurden absolut nicht enttäuscht. Die Lokations waren besonders und sehr gut zu den präsentierten Weinen passend gewählt. Die Weine waren ein guter Querschnitt der österreichischen Weinvielfalt und von sehr guter Qualität und wurden launig und fachmännisch präsentiert. Man lernt nie aus, auch wenn man vor den Toren Wiens beheimatet ist. Der private Weinkeller war unser absolutes Highlight und alles, was wir dort genossen haben, top! Mehr verrate ich nicht, dass muss man selbst erleben! Den gemütliche Abschluss mit einem vorzüglichen Rotwein aus dem Burgenland haben wir sehr genossen. Es war ein lustiger und informativer und vor allem perfekter Abend. Wir werden das Unternehmen von Lukas sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

Spannende Weintour

Die Weintour war kulinarisch ein Genuss und durch die Führung in der Innenstadt von Wien auch noch sehr informativ. Der Tourguide Lukas war sehr zuvorkommend und es hat mit ihm Spaß gemacht.
