Amazing experience

Amazing experience at the Vienna supreme concert. Everything was well organized by the managers of the Vienna Supreme concert. Great orchestra, with professional musicians and singers. Must go, if you like classic music and a good atmosphere.

A must when în Vienna!!

Apart of the music, which is wanderful, the concert is full of joy, energy and life. The orchestra and the solists are so warm and passionate!! It is like a family gathering, only with very professional musicians!

Exceptional. Kid friendly.

5 easy stars. Had a 4 Yr old, booked a vip ticket and sat in the 1st row. Short and crisp concert with pieces predominatly from J Strauss and few from Mozart, Brahms. 2 opera singers, the male is exceptionally talented and adds comedy to the show. The main violist is brilliant and animated. Kept my toddler glued all the way for the 1.5 hours.

Worth visiting

It was perfect! Amazing! It made me laugh and and I had a wonderful time. I recommend it 100%. Just go😍

Concert

Lovely concert with a mix of ballet, operetta and octet. Young performers with a sense of fun. The violin lead was superb.

Outstanding Performance!

What can i say other than wow! Not even words can express the feeling of being in one of the most oldest beautiful venues and embrace the most beautiful classical music accompanied with opera and ballet! This is a must try if you are going to visit Vienna! Mark who sold me the tickets near Stephansdom was really kind! I am so glad i have taken this opportunity to experience such a lovely performance and we all loved the interaction we had with the performers! Thank you so much!

Must try Experience

This was a full packed performance with Opera, Ballads and amazing pieces by the performers. It was a right mix for novice audience like us who got to experience the complete package in an hour. It was something that even our 4 year old kid enjoyed. I would anyday recommend this experience to all

A nice introduction to the music and dance of Vienna

While wandering around Stephensplatz near the cathedral, you can’t possibly miss all of the people in their centuries past attire asking if you’d like to see a concert. After walking past several for more than a day, we talked about it. How can we really come to Vienna and not go to see some live classical music? Unlike most things, we did not do any research on this. We simply walked up to one of the many options and inquired and then purchased tickets. The building is beautiful and the room for this is lavishly done. It is not a large and traditional concert venue. You are sitting on standard chairs arranged in rows. I was pretty warm throughout the show and this was on a cool day in early August. A hot day in here could be fairly uncomfortable. The concert and the accompanied opera and ballet was absolutely fantastic. Proof you don’t need to go to a traditional concert hall for this – especially in Vienna. Several well-known and recognizable songs of course is a help to any experience. Very good quality all around and the performers did a wonderful job of making the whole performance entertaining as well. If you don’t have the time or availability to schedule months in advance to take in a high-end concert or show in Vienna, this is a great way to experience the history of Vienna through classical music, opera and ballet.

Fun time with music

It was a wonderful time. All the classics performed. The singer’s voices were beautiful and dancers enjoyable to watch. And let’s not forget the musicians who were marvelous. Yes it is touristy but heck that’s what I am. If you just need a taste of music and some humor this is fine. If you’re a music snob find a different venue. I know my husband would have fallen asleep at a full opera or concert, he was humming along here.

Music and Body Heat

This concert is difficult for me to review. The performance was quite good on all levels (orchestra, singers and dancers). However, the hall where the concert took place was on the third floor on a hot day in Vienna. The room was oppressively hot. There was obviously no air conditioning but also no fans or even a window to open. Most of the patrons were fanning themselves with the programs throughout the concert. I was a pool of sweat by concerts end. I don't know how the performers didn't collapse in the heat. Even though the performances were good I found myself just wanting the concert to end so I could get out of the sweat box that was the concert hall. Be aware of this if you are planning to go to it during the hot weather. This is why I rated this concert as average.

SEXIST AWFUL EXPERIENCE, waste of money

The absolute worst, most disgusting concert I have ever seen. Every song uses the same bit of the guy wants the girl and the girl is not interested, yet the guy ignores her clear disgust and continues to harass/kiss her. Not a funny joke, rather sexist, and the more it is used the worse it gets. The girl would then go sit on a random man in the audience’s lap as a way to get back at the guy. So horrible and the attempt at comedy only worsened the experience. Feel completely scammed out or our money, as we were advertised a professional Vienna opera show and that is not at all what we got.

Nice way to experience Vienese musical atmosphere

Good mixture of popular classic music, ballet and folk dancing and opera arias singing. The male singer was exceptionally entertaining

Excellent concert - good quality, entertaining and attention grabbing.

Beautiful venue. You can buy the tickets online. Ours were prearranged by a tour guide and costed 50 euro each. Good quality performance highlighting the music of the Strausses, Offenbach and Vivaldi. Some lovely dancing, a bit of humor, all well composed, put together in an entertaining way. We happen to be "concert-goers" but even those who rarely attend concerts enjoyed this performance.

A must do in Vienna. 9 pcs orchestra with 2 ballet dancers and 2 sopranos. Seated 2nd row from front. Great piece of show. Very nice

Indignada. our seats did not exist

we were sold tickets with numbered seats over a plan and when we got there those seats did not exist. we were seated further with totally different view of the stage. Thanks a lot, Trim. he is the seller that got us tickets. cuidado con los asientos que os venden, no corresponde con la realidad. estafa, timo.

A must do in Vienna

We're not Classical Music people but when in Vienna and this concert was excellent. Nice small room in the palace so quite intimate. It's very casual and mainly tourists. The music was superb, the singers and ballet dancers excellent. We paid €54 not to be at the back, but actually got seats in the 2nd row. As it's a small venue I'd say the view is good from all seats. Definitely worth a visit.

Good immersion to Viennese classical music

After a few days in Vienna, we felt that we just had to listen to some classical music. It just seemed wrong to visit Vienna and to not do this. There are plenty of folks in the streets dressed in period costume hawking tickets, as there must be lots of tickets to sell everyday as there are some many concerts taking place. We nearly booked for one, but after looking on Trip Advisor, I changed my mind as the reviews were poor. I asked our concierge who recommended Vienna Supreme Concerts. A quick check on Trip Advisor and I liked what I saw, so booked tickets at €40 each. Now these were the cheapest seats on offer, but they were close enough to the front (please see photos) and were no worse than the €80 tickets on sale. We are not classical music buffs, so we didn't want anything too long, too formal or too expensive. This concert was perfect - €40 per head, it lasted about 90 minutes (including the mandatory two encores), and I was comfortable wearing jeans. The audience were all fellow tourists I believe. The concert played music from Mozart, Strauss, Schubert and others. There was some singing and dancing as well, so a good cross section. Although the venue is a Palais, it was actually a room on the first floor of a nondescript building. The room itslef was interesting and had good acoustics. We enjoyed it and was perfect for what we were looking for.

Amazingly beautiful performance!!!!

The orchestra was excellent beyond our expectations. The ballet dancers and the opera singers gave this performance the perfect touch of entertainment and grace!! Thank for such a wonderful experience... we will be back!!

Entertaining!

Not fans of classical music, but when in Vienna - well, you’ve got to love a good waltz! We were treated to Strauss, both father and son (and brother too, I think), Mozart and Schubert, with some singing and dancing thrown in for good measure.

Wonderful concert

We attended this concert and enjoyed every minute. The musical selections were great. The orchestra was first class. The members of the orchestra even interacted with the audience. Our front row seats were worth it. Highly recommend!

Very nice concert!

O.k. We are 44 years old and pretty active and wasn’t sure how good this concert would be (we are not classical music fans, but can enjoy that type of music). It was very good and the musicians, opera singers and ballet dancers were great. Going to the a concert is the thing to do in Vienna and this company and particular venue were fantastic. Advice: don’t pay out for the better seats like we did at this small venue. Even the seats in the back had very good visibility.

Classical concert

Highly recommend this concert. It was just the right length (not even 90 minutes). There were 2 opera singers who also acted a bit and also 2 ballerinas (1 male and 1 female). In between the classic sets, they broke up the music with these very entertaining (and sometimes funny) skits while singing/dancing. They also interacted with the audience a bit so there were no snoozers at this concert! Definitely kept our teens’ interest. Not sure about young children, but if you must, it could work. The environment was relaxed enough.

Fun performance in a great venue

The performers made the music accessible and entertaining - not the snobby atmosphere you may anticipate with a classical concert in Vienna. Great acoustics in a quaint but cool venue.

Very beautiful show lasting more than an hour and a half, interpretation of pieces by different authors, from Mozart to Offenbach via Strauss, the musicians involve the spectators, the singing couple and the dancing couple are wonderful

Un concierto con un repertorio variado y muy ameno. También intervienen una soprano, un tenor y una pareja de bailarines, con pequeñas notas de humor. El director y violinista principal es magnífico.

Excellent spectacle, musque de chambre variée, avec des airs d'opéra connus de Mozart et Strauss. Ce qui était agréable était que tous les musiciens, chanteurs et danseurs respiraient la joie

Grotesque fuyez

Absolument grotesque. Même si les musiciens étaient plutôt bons, le "concert" est émaillé de sorte de skechs qui laissent clairement à désirer et qui empêchent toute émotion en écoutant la musique. Même les danseurs jouaient la comédie en faisant quelques pas ratés... Le "concert" a duré une heure au lieu des 1h30 annoncé.... Sans compter que la salle était rempli à 70 % d asiatiques qui applaudissaient comme des otaries PENDANT les morceaux.... Insupportable. Ubuesque. Bref fuyez
