Well worth the money and you will learn so much

Deter was one of the best tour guides I have had. He was professional, personable and told the stories as if it was for the first time. Every effort was made to ensure we all understood the information we were being given. It was a rainy and wet day, but Deter made sure we were as comfortable as possible and the equipment worked well for all. He was articulate and so knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour; well worth the money! I learned so much.

Must Do for Anyone Interested in Hitler History

Charles was a great tour guide. Very knowledagble and open minded. Enjoyed it tremendously. He was also kind enough to share his umbrella due to the rain :) We mustn’t forget our history for it not to repeat.

Excellent tour to understand a difficult part of the cities history.

Charles was an excellent guide and did a great job telling the story of how important Vienna as a city was for Hitler’s genesis, the significance of the Ringstrassen project for the city and how the war and the allied forces impacted the city. An excellent tour that went much beyond regular tours of just pointing out sights.

Such an interesting and informative tour! Charles was an incredible guide. Everything was fascinating and our guide was very funny and attentive. It rained heavy at one point so we had to stay in one place but Charles kept everyone interested. Perfect 🙏🏻

Highly recommend

Highly recommend. We were only in Vienna for the day so this was a great way to see the city and learn some history. Dieter was super informative and engaging. Initially I thought 2.5 hours would be too long but it went by so quickly.

Great Tour with a great guide

An interesting walk with a nice Guide. It was remarkable how passionate Dieter was, and you could notice his major in history and journalistic background. He brought us to the important places and could tell a lot about it, gave people a chance to sit down once in a while and tried to stay in the shades as much as possible; he cared. I can really recommend this tour.

The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. He handled a difficult subject very sensitively and in a very balanced way.

Wonderful Tour

Charles was an AWESOME tour guide! This tour was very informative and he painted a detailed description of life in Vienna during the early 1900’s. The city of Vienna is beautiful and this tour gives an opportunity to see some of the stunning architecture with a bit of history retelling behind it. A must do if you have time in the city!

Our guide, Deter, was fantastic. He has an incredible depth of historical knowledge about Vienna and, specific to this tour, Hitler's role in Vienna. He made an effort to point out places of interest specific to questions asked on the tour. I loved the tour and would highly recommend it. Dieter, our guide, made this the great tour it was. With a title like "Historical Hitler Walking Tour," I thought it could be click bait, but instead it was an interesting and fascinating look at Vienna's history while Hitler was living there, as well as during after WWII.

Best Vienna WW2 Tour - Dieter is Exceptional!

I had a long layover in Vienna so decided to book this tour and it was time very well spent. Dieter is not only incredibly knowledgeable, explaining history clearly and in an easy way to understand, but he answers sensitive questions exceptionally well while it comes to Austria’s role in WW2. It’s rare to come across a guide with as much passion as he does with a true heart to share history. He was also impressively mindful of it being a warm day and did his best to keep us comfortable, staying in the shade when available and giving restroom breaks. These seem minor but they really made for a much more enjoyable tour. Highly recommend. Vienna is beautiful in so many ways but this element of history is also important to share.

Very interesting and informative tour with great guide.

My wife and I have just finished the tour with Charles who was a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Not only did we find out a lot about Hitler’s time in and attachment to Vienna but also a lot of other interesting facts. We both loved it. A perfect way to finish our short stay in Vienna.

Historical walking tour , Vienna

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, our guide Charles was very knowledgeable, he talked us through Vienna and its history without stopping. The walk took us around Vienna to some interesting places/monuments we would never have found ourselves or known what the significance of them were, without Charles knowledge.
