The salt flats are amazing. As we visited in the wet season, the Salt Flats were flooded, which created the perfect mirror effect. Lunch & sunset on the water was very special. Staying at the excellent Salt Hotel was great. Yanet from Banjo Travel arranged all our travel perfectly and Alvaro our guide was great. Very knowledgeable and great company as well.

Truly unique experience! Amazing itinerary. Super attentive and knowledgeable driver/guide that showed us special places and made sure we felt good the entire time (despite few challenges adapting to the altitude on the first day).

Great tour, company driver. From atacama to uyuni.

From San Pedro atacama to uyuni - 3 days and 2 nights. Amazing tour. Great places excellent company and driver. Hotels very good (talus desertion and palacio de sal). Everything was perfect. Highly recommended. They make you feel there are no other tourists. You might visit the same places as others, but there is always attention to make you feel alone in the deserts. Great experience.

Amazing views and perfectly guided on 7-days tour alongside lagoons, geysires and salt flats

We booked a 7-days-tour from Tupiza to La Paz, including different lagoons, Uyuni and Coipasa Salt Flat, geysires, Sajama National Parc and more. It was an incredible tour with amazing views. Unforgettable! Our driver was very nice and experienced. Our guide was so nice, funny and full of knowledge about nearly everything of interest in Bolivia - flora, fauna, history, geology, culture and traditions. It was a real pleasure to travel with them both and we learned so much about this exciting country. Everything (like hostels, breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks and drinks) was organized perfectly and our guide was full of ideas for great photos. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

Fantastic Bolivia experience

Incredible Tour and Amazing Staff We took a trip with Benjo tours for 5 days, entering from San Petro Chile and arriving at La Paz. We saw the famous Uyuni and other national parks including Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, the red flamingo and Sajama national park. Everything was amazing! Not only did we see the other-worldly sceneries and animals (llamas, alpacas, Vicunas, fox, American ostrich), we also felt very well taken care of by the staff. Our driver Zenon is like a living GPS and made us feel very safe. He also paid close attention to our needs all the time. He constantly wiped the car windows and body to make it dust free when we were making stops. He also prepared yummy meals including deserts and hot tea and would serve the food in exotic places such as the middle of the salt flat with nobody or car in our sight. Our guide Al was also very helpful and shared a lot of knowledge with us. In addition, they took amazing videos and photos for us, for example, the 360 degree time lapse video in Uyuni Salt Flat wowed everyone we showed it to. Their knowledge and passion for this beautiful country/region and their care for us made our trip beyond amazing and memorable. We highly recommend Benjo tours if you want to visit Uyuni and nearby areas.

Amazing couple of days with an extremely organised company!!

What a great couple of days! We did the private 2 day, 3 night tour with an English speaking guide and it was such a treat! Our driver and tour guide (Paolo and Cenon) went above and beyond to make it the most special couple of days.. even organising a surprise picnic for us at sunset as we were on our honeymoon. Couldn’t be more grateful and couldn’t recommend this tour and company enough!

Trip of a lifetime, Bucket list achieved!

We went to Uyuni in March 2023 to see the mirror image. We decided to go with Banjo tours because of Benjamin (trip planner). Benjamin was always available to answer any questions, knowledgeable, was prompt, honest and guided us to have right expectations, he accommodated all our requests that were doable. We had rented 2 cars to accommodate our group. Benjamin and both drivers were incredible, Patient and always courteous, they never got tired of our innumerable request to take pictures, rent costumes, go off planned itinerary. We saw exactly what we had wished for, Uyuni flats, hexagonal patterns and the marvelous mirror effect. They went above and beyond to make our trip magical, they set up picnic lunches in the most spectacular sights, they set up a surprise for my friends birthday with cake, wine, snacks on the mirror image and to top it off they they shot a 360 degree incredible video, better than a movie on the mirror image. This trip was a dream come true, that will be hard to surpass, Uyuni will hold a special place in my heart forever. Thank you Banjo tours especially Benjamin for making this happen!!!! Awesome Experience at the Uyuni Salt Flats with Benjamin from Banjo Tours

Such a great experience with Benjamin and Banjo Tours entire team, they made everything just perfect, I plan to come back and take many more tours with them. They paid so much attention to detail.

Incredible tour made easy!

We took a 6 day tour starting in San Pedro de Atacama through Bolivia and ending in Arica, Chile. Our driver, Elmer and guide, Alvaro were amazing. Elmer was an excellent, careful driver. Alvaro, very knowledgeable. Both so kind and friendly. They took care of everything - including preparing some of the meals! They knew the best spots and surprised us with some meals or snacks in the most scenic locations. The scenery in Bolivia is just magnificent. The Uyuni salt flats are a must but just as spectacular were the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve and Lauca & Sajama National Parks. Other than Uyuni, we often saw few tourists or cars. We were grateful to have the Banjo driver & guide as roads are unmarked and it would be challenging to navigate without familiarity. The only downside is that there can be limited options for accommodation outside of Uyuni and the larger cities. A couple of places were quite basic. However, this is out of Banjo Tours control. Overall, I would definitely recommend Banjo Tours. From the start Benjamin helped craft a fantastic itinerary that met our needs. Our driver & guide - just took care of everything so we could relax and soak in the surroundings.

Fantastic experience at Uyuni Salt Flats

They paid attention to detail, remembering our preferences. They really helped us get through the border after some confusion and miscommunications. The salt flats were amazing, and we were taken to a remote and isolated spot in the salt flat that we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet without any other tour operator around. The sunset was pretty magical, and again-they listened to us when we asked to stay a little while after the sunset (because we knew the sunset would get better). They did everything in their power to make sure we had a good experience.

The itinerary Banjo organized was excellent, as was the information they provided beforehand. I would highly recommend Banjo Tours to anyone! Janet was a good guide, and Benjamin was absolutely spectacular.

Dream-trip 3D/2N with Luxury accommodation and visuals to cherish!

Thanks for excellent communication and arrangements by Banjo Tours, I had a big dream fulfilled!. This is a very professional and reliable company for your Salt-flat and South-west Bolivia tours!. Nadia (Guide) was excellent, very friendly, and is a aspiring young tour Guide, who I wish all the best for her future developments. Senon (driver) had a bigger challenge of driving through such a rough terrain and taking me safely everywhere, also in time. He did an excellent Job. I felt very comfortable with both of them through the 3-D tour. The food arrangements were perfect, accommodations top-class and the best in the region. I loved the rustic appeal and the food at Tayka del Desertio (what a magical location right at Bolivian-Chilean Border). The weather was perfect to explore and get some great photographs of this awesome technicolour region (yes, literally!). The last day is a very long drive and hence, one has to adjust to the timings at each lagoon and scenic spot, but with good planning with your guide, this is weel handled and I am thankful to Banjo, Nadia and Senon for my lovely days at Uyuni and Eduardo Avarao NP area. The price is justified for all of what you get and especially the safety! To travellers, only advice would be wary of "cheap and super-cheap" offers by various companies. Nothing comes simply cheap without compromises and you wouldn't want to compromise on a comfortable car (in these bumpy roads), a friendly, caring team and on contributing something to this region more!

EL MEJOR fin de semana de nuestras vidas

Tomamos un tour privado de 3 días, el primer día en Salar de Uyuni, el segundo en las lagunas "joyas altoandinas" y el día final en la Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina Eduardo Avaroa. Zenón fue nuestro guía y conductor, la pasamos increíble con él, es EL MEJOR, ponía música buenísimaaaaa, nos hizo fotos espectaculares, conducía MUY bien y nos daba oportunidad de parar a hacer fotos en los mejores lugares. Los hospedajs fueron los mejores hoteles en la región (Palacio de Sal, Tayka del Desierto) nos fascinaron. La comida preparada por Cristina fue deeeeeeeliciosa, incluso nos enviaron comida vegetariana como lo solicitamos. También nos ayudaron con el transfer desde Bolivia hasta Chile :D La planeación y comunicación con Benjamín fue sorprendente, muy buena información, completa y detallada, siempre con afán de ayudar en todo. Lo mejor de lo mejor fue el atardecer en el Salar de Uyuni, definitivamente los recomendaré a todos y guardaré estos momentos como los mejores de mi vida.
