Amazing

It was great day trip out of our entire Rajasthan tour, Salim was extremely knowledgeable about the whole town and it's historical importance. He was just all rounder for us from being a tuk tuk driver, guide (more than official guide's experience) & Good friend recommending us tasty food options. Overall, this is highly recommendable day trip in udaipur city!

Excellent local tour guide and transport

Would highly recommend salim. Such a pleasant and friendly guide. Very knowledgeable, excellent English, polite and punctual as well as trustworthy. Does not push or change prices and is extremely flexible. Is very safe. We have enjoyed all of our trips with Salim (we have done multiple). As well as the above assets he is excellent at showing you difficult to find places and places of the tourist trail which show you some of real udaipur. He is also very knowledgeable about the area and gives lots of extra information about the places. If you are going to udaipur you should book Salim, would highly recommend!

Udaipur Day trip, Village tour and more

Salim looked after us like family during our stay in Udaipur (3 of us). We did the full day Udaipur tour and the village tour and Salim organised transfers and other specific journeys in between. At all times, he is thoughtful, clear, polite and safe. The Udaipur tour is a must but the village tour is something else and we would definitely recommend discussing your plans with Salim and allowing him to give the best advice and work with your schedule. If you are considering this, then go head and book. It is incredible value.

Great guide, great tour, great price

Mr Salim has been with us each day for our stay in Udaipur, we met at the station after our sleeper train was delayed for 3 and a half hours and drive us to our hotel for a very reasonable price. He is an excellent guide, speaks perfect English and is able to make excellent recommendations on where to eat, drink and visit. On day 2, we were met at our hotel and taken on a full days excursion starting at the animal aid sanctuary and ending at a superb bar and restaurant back in the old town via an incredible thali in a true locals restaurant. The next day Mr Salim met us and drove us to the airport where we said our goodbyes! I would give Salim Khan a 100% positive review. He is a superb host and gentle and kind man. If you’re in udaipur and need any assistance in transport or tours, look no further.

Udaipur City Sightseeing by Tuk Tuk on 10Jan2020

We enjoyed the tour since the weather was very good but it is not recommended if the weather is warm plus it gets dusty at few stretches. We were 2 of us including my 12 year old son. I would rate this as very expensive as the Tuk Tuk is charged on per person basis whereas it should be for a vehicle like in case of a car. We could have done the same thing by an air conditioned car by maybe paying just about Rs 300 more, totalling to Rs 1500/-.It was too late by the time I realized that. Doing the tour by Tuk Tuk also means that you can't do Sajjan Garh as it's on hill top and can be accessed by Car / Jeep which means additional expense. The Tuk Tuk driver, Mr Salim was very courteous but he is not a guide so you will land up spending on guide charges at all the locations as per your requirement.

We have done 2 tours with Salim, both the city tour and the temple tour. 100% recommendable. Salim gave us all the time we needed and explained the route very well. 10/10
