Driver Priyanshu was very good and friendly, ride was smooth and had no issues. Amazing 360 views from the top of the fort. Gained good historical knowledge and facts of Fort and surrounding areas. Jain temple was amazing, great architecture inside. Recommend getting a ticket to take mobile phones/camera, which we didn’t know so missed out on taking pictures inside of the beautiful architecture. Overall amazing experience!

The fort is huge and takes a while to climb. But its beautiful and mesmerizing. We got some of the best hand made sarees and blankets here

Good day trip

Our driver was great and answered our various questions. It was a beautiful ride in the mountains and seeing the countryside. For the temple, if you are wearing shorts, they’ll loan you pants for a deposit, but otherwise you might consider bringing pants.

A memorable day trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur temple

Quite a drive out to the fort and temple, but well worth it. The views are exceptional from the top and the forest lush and green. The driver was punctual and friendly. The car was very tidy and new.

A very pleasant experience! The whole trip was super smooth, starting with a beautifully scenic drive to the fort. Everything was taken care of really well, and the fort itself was brilliant, and there were so many interesting anecdotes. The drive to the Ranakpur Jain temple was also great. Overall, we enjoyed this trip and it turned out just right! Highly recommended to do if you're planning an Udaipur stay for 2-3 days.

Great day trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur

I took a one day tour to Kumbhalgarh Fort and the beautiful Jain temple at Ranakpur. The tour was exceptional. The fort is fascinating both historically and architecturally. My guide shared his great knowledge if the fort, and he went to great lengths to make sure I was comfortable walking on the steep paths and walkways. The drive to the fort and temple through the mountains was beautiful as well, and my driver was careful and skilled, and he tools great pains to make sure it was a pleasant and comfortable one for me.

Just OK - Fort Only Review

NOTE: We only did the Kumbhalgarh Fort Positives: 1. One of the largest forts with a significant history. 2. Great views from the fort. --- Negatives: 1. The car provided had a foul smell and thus not a comfortable journey. 2. The travel time and the road conditions are very poor. --- Overall: For the drive time and condition the overall Kumbhalgarh Fort tour was very small (within an hour) and thus I would personally recommend the all-day Chittorgarh fort trip (assuming time is limited / one needs to chose).

A must if you're in Udaipur

We had an amazing time, the sights are beautiful, our driver was very professional, let us take our time, and was happy to tell us a bit about Rajasthan and the culture Highly recommended, a must if you're spending a couple of days in Udaipur

It was a wonderful visit. Kumbhalgarh fort was little far from Udaipur, I won’t recommend for kids and elder people since the roads were pathetic. Once you reached it will be worth,Take water bottle and drinks for refreshments since it’s a long walk.Happy journey

Fully packed tour

Both spots are far away from Udaipur city. It would be difficult to visit both of splendid 2 spots by my own. It was very fully packed tour. My driver Bittu explained briefly about the spot on the way. It made my experience more enjoyable.

Amazing ride to Kumbhalgarh

Experience to Ranakpur temple

The experience for today to ranakpur temple from udaipur was very nice. I really like the punctuality of the bittu bhaiya he was on time. He also guided us how to utilise our next day when we have the flight. And the charges are very nominal and he is very polite.

Day well spent at Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur

This was the 2nd tour we took with Shankar and we had a really good day. Shankar is on time for pick up and drop offs and is ready with a couple of surprises which were pleasant to say the least. Amazing hospitality and wonderful experience!!!

We booked a day tour for Kumbhalgarh Fort🏰 and Ranakpur Jain Temples 🛕🛕 from Udaipur City. Bittu bhaiya came to pick us🚙🚙 at 7:30 in the morning, he was very cooperative and humble. The cab was neat and he welcome us with sanitizer. During our journey he told us about history of the place as well as local specialities. The most stary point was food, he took us two different places for snacks/lunch and food was so so delicious!!!🤩🤩 He provide us good time for sightseeing and entertain us with puzzles & stories. We returned Udaipur around 7:00 pm and even in city also he took us to the city's special Chaat place😀😀 and then dropped us to our hotel. It was a memorable day of my life and I am surely gonna cherish this day for a long time😇😇

Excellent experience. We were lucky to get the owner Shankat Bhaiyya as the driver. He made sure we knew the history of the fort before we reached there. He definitely knows the area. On his suggestion we decided to skip having lunch in hotel and have it at the Ranakpur temple. Best decision ever. Shankar knows to keep you engaged and entertained throughout the journey. Our one day trip from Udaipur to Kumbalgarh Fort and Ranakpur temple with Mr. Bittu Shankar was a truly memorable trip. He was before time at our hotel and the car was extremely clean and tidy. Bittu's driving was very good and he new the route well. To add to all this, he kept us entertained throughout the journey with local stories and folklore which gave us more perspective when we visited the two places. We would highly recommend anyone travelling to Rajasthan to reach out to Mr. Bittu Shankar for short and long trips.

Both sites are attractive, worth to visit. We have one day trip with Bittu, he is very experienced on driving.

Wonderful fort and temple.

I am satisfied taht anyway I could come back to home safely. The fort was very interesting and the temple was much beautiful than expected. However, the driver should not use mobile during drive. The driver often called and wrote SMS while drive. It was not confortable to me. I felt dangerous. The lunch recommended by the driver was poor, not spicy.

Kumbhalgarh Fort & Ranakpur Jain Temple

I chose the drive-only option which was perfect as this allowed me the opportunity to explore the two heritage sites at leisure. The Fort doesn’t have much in the way of explanation (no audio guides either) but the Jain temple comes with a comprehensive audio guide and in my opinion is more impressive than the Taj Mahal. The drive from Udaipur is hairy to say the least with the road being no more than a tarred path in many places, but I felt completely safe in the hands of my driver, Bittur Shankar. He deserves 5 stars for his driving but I feel that GetYourGuide (organisers) are a tad expensive.

Bittu Udaipur Rajasthan

We took services from Bittu from Udaipur for 1 day visit to Kumbalgarh and Ranakpur. He was a nice chatty guy and gives all information and history about Udaipur and various tourist attractions during the travel itself. Journey was also nice. Do contact him if you need a guide in and around Udaipur.

Driver made us feel uncomfortable

Right in the beginning, the driver Shankar said we should do a Safari instead of going to Kumbhalgarh fort because the later would be boring anyway. We did not go for that option and he accepted that repeating how lucky we were having him as a driver. He was very fond of himself. We started at 9 am in Udaipur and would have arrived before opening hours at Ranakpur. Therefore, it does not make sense to book an earlier tour. Since the driver said he wanted to have breakfast, he stopped at a tourist trap, where we waited for him in the restaurant while he vanished somewhere else. We had one Sprite. They asked for 130 rp. which ist ridiculously high. When I called this a rip-off in front of him, he gave me a flower... It did not leave the place with me. The more we talked, the more he spoke disrespectfully about women. "All the boys like Holi, because they can touch the girls and the girls cannot complain to the police, because it is Holi..." He said threatening things about women in his life as well, which I will not cite here. He probably thought he was being funny. The sights (Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Temple) however were beautiful. You should definitely go there, just not with Shankar. You should wear pants that do not only cover your knees but reach to the floor.

Day trip to Kumbhalgarh and Nathdwara

Our trip was great and we enjoyed our journey from Udaipur to Nathdwara, Kumbhalgarh Fort. Shankar is a good driver and a very humble human being. He is well versed with the tourist spot, timings, food joints and guides us well. Will definitely recommend him for your trip to Udaipur and near by places in Rajasthan.
