Highlight of my Ubud trip!

Absolutely loved this class and was the highlight of my Ubud trip. Was so excited for it and definitely lived up to my expectations. It’s chill, funny, you learn a lot and eat a lot too😂

Best cooking experience in Ubud

From pickup at the resort, to the markets to explain the ingredients we were using and onto the cooking class…everything was amazing. The staff were enthusiastic the whole time making us feel welcome and also helping us as we made our dishes and sauces. It was made a very enjoyable experience and then sitting down at the end to enjoy our meal. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great experience at Ketuts cooking class

I would recommend Ketuts cooking class as a must do for anyone coming to Ubud!! The whole day is very organized and well-structured again. We had such a fun time, the staff are exceptionally happy and upbeat. Our meal was one of the best we’ve had in Bali!

Great food and experience

The food was absolutely amazing and the hosts made the experience unforgettable. Very fun people and they walked us through the steps to make it easy! Would highly recommend.

Had a great time with my girlfriend! Plus the food was delicious! I’m not into cooking at all, and I was slightly doing this for my GF, but had a surprisingly good experience and enjoyed this alot!

Why you should always do a cooking class when travelling

This was such a well-designed class with Ketut giving clear and easy-to-follow instructions. His family members all pitch in and assist where needed. Everything we cooked we could make at home and I feel confident it would taste more or less the same. Very much enjoyed it. We began the day with a tour of Ubud markets, which we both loved. Transport’s a bit of a process in Bali so if you can meet at the market or at the cooking class, that’s going to help you avoid the wild Bali traffic. Cooking classes give you an insight into local cuisine - a wonderful activity. I highly recommend this one.

Local cuisine cooking class with very nice staff

This was the first cooking class I ever did and it was a lot of fun and the food turned out great. The chefs are very helpful and pay enough attention to everyone. Even my boyfriend, who’s really doesn’t like cooking, liked the class!

Bloody bagus!

Ketut was very accomodating and explained all the steps in a fun and easy to follow way. The food was also delicious and was more than enough to feed us out dinner and desert. Pick up was seamless and welcome drinks/bottled water were provided. Highly recommend!!!! Thanks Ketut and family! :)

Tasty experience!

Really nice experience. We cooked an complete Balinese menue, it was so tasty. Ketut and his team were really friendly and helpful. It will be so nice, to cook the meal at home for friends and tell the story about Bali cooking experience :-)

Amazing experience

We had a wonderful teacher during this authentic Balinese cooking class. They explained everything very well and he also knows how to keep up the good atmosphere and is in for a joke. The food was absolutely delicious!

The kindest teachers and so much fun. Highly recommend this experience. Don’t have breakfast beforehand as it will be a big meal.

동양인 커플이였고 30명 정도 중에 한국사람은 우리밖에 없었습니다. 영어도 쉽게 해주시고 맛도 너무 좋았습니다. 整个参加的30多个人，只有我们是韩国人 英文也蛮简单都能听懂 味道也挺好。 We were an Asian couple, and among about 30 people, we were the only Koreans. He spoke English easily and the taste was very good.

The class was great and the food was even better! Toured the market in the morning to get used to the local produce, followed by a step by step cooking class which was great! The food was amazing too!

Absolutely brilliant experience with ketut and his wife, very funny, perfect afternoon, lots of laughs and incredibly very tasty, easy to understand, individual stations. So well done logistically, pick up service. So so so much fun. My family of five loved it ❤️ great value for money. And best part you get to eat it.

Fun cooking school

We had so much fun! Ketut made it an enjoyable experience and was quite funny. We cooked our own plates individually which I really liked. More like a cooking school with lots of people, rather than a class.

Amazing Cooking class

We had the best experience at Ketut’s cooking class! Ketut is very funny and a great chef.. I would highly recommend trying it if you have an interest in the Balinese cuisine and very good price for the experience and all of the delicious food you will be eating at the end! ☺️

Fun morning

Great experience overall, very friendly staff! Only downsides - Market tour was just walking through / looking - not actually purchasing ingredients for use. When returning from market we waited 30 minutes for other group from market to arrive. Other than this, the food was fun to make and tasted amazing. Complimentary pick up / drop off from our hotel was very helpful.

Great food class and very fun while cooking. A little bit of waiting around while all the groups arrived from the market, but otherwise great, very tasty food!

Great class, would recommend!

We chose the morning cooking session and started off at a small local market. There was an opportunity to buy some spices also but didn’t feel pressure to buy anything which was nice. The cooking class itself was very good, as a couple they give you a joint station and show everyone what to do. There were 4 dishes, you prep all of them and actually cook 3 (they cook chicken satay on the fire). The host was very friendly and funny. Would recommend! They also provide you with water and tea.

Be careful with the chillies

I loved how organised the class is. We think the satay and grilled tuna is awesome. Ketut had a contagious laugh 😆 and yeah, careful with the cut chillies please, they are very spicy!

Incredibly fun, hilarious and delicious!

Amazing and delicious food - the market tour is a fun addition and it was so fun to try different things! All of the staff is incredibly helpful and sweet and Ketut is hilarious. Truly a must do and you can’t go wrong with Ketut!

Fantastic and delicious!

This cooking class was incredible! I took the morning class, which included a tour of a traditional market and the opportunity to buy spices/spice mixes to bring home. The class itself was the perfect length and you get to make several different dishes, including a dessert. Our chefs were so attentive and funny! Along with the class coordinating pickup and dropoff from your hotel for you, this class is the perfect relaxing morning activity in Ubud!

Great time and great food!

We had the best time!! One of the greatest activities we’ve done while in Ubud. All the foods were so tasty and there were vegetarian, pescatarian, and even vegan options! The guides and teachers were so helpful and fun to spend time with.

Amazing experience with a cheerful and knowledgeable guide

Ketut led us through the market with a very cheerful attitude and educated us on all the local produce. We then were allowed to taste all of the various types of aromatics we were going to use which were new to us. After that we were educated on how to cook and Ketut was amazing throughout, and lastly the food was AMAZING.

Cooking Class with lots of Laughter

The cooking class was great. I started the day being collected from my accommodation, we were then taken to a local farmers market where we were shown all of the local produce and spices. We were then taken to the cooking school. Ketut is quite the character and made everyone laugh along the way. We then cooked some amazing dishes from scratch, which meant that we were able to alter the ingredients as needed for dietary requirements. Overall it was a fun and informative outing.

Such a good experience

This was such a great experience. Located in the outskirts of Ubud in a really beautiful quiet area. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef and staff were fantastic. Overall such a great experience and fantastic value for money.

Must do activity in Ubud

Ketut’s cooking class was amazing. It was so well ran and we got to cook a variety of dishes which all tasted amazing. This is a must do if you are ever in Ubud!

Rainy day activity

Made everything from scratch following clear instructions. Good time. Great food. Would recommend for couples on a rainy day in Bali.
