Amazing trip through the Volcanic rock and sand to watch the sunset. Crew were so welcoming and obliging. Put in on your bucket list of things to do in Bali. Would highly recommended !

Great sunset tour!

Good tour, I recommend! Great guides, great experience. (Would have preferred to have a bit more information about the itinerary, there were a few surprises.) The driver picked us up at our hotel, very punctual. On our way, we stopped at a coffee plantation for a tasting, and after a restaurant for lunch. 30 min each. Both nice, but we had lunch before starting the tour and did a similar coffee tasting the day before. When arriving at mount batur, we met our jeep driver, Zero. He took us to the black lava fields, where we had some time to explore. Then drove to a different spot for watching the sunset. There's an option to hike up to the highest point of the caldera, appr 30 min, pretty steep hike. After the sunset, we went back with the jeep to the car, and drove back to the hotel. Both drivers had good English, were very nice, accomodating, did everything for our comfort and enjoyment (taking photos, bringing rain ponchos), couldn't have asked for more. The mountain is a lot less crowded for sunset than sunrise, a lot better to enjoy the nature. Highly recommend this sunset tour!

Fantastic experience with great photos!

We had Mawe collect us from our hotel, he was really friendly and helpful. We then had Karpa drive us in the Jeep up to the black lava and the viewpoint. He took some fantastic photos of us and even provided us with a snack to eat while waiting for th sunset. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Amazing

Would highly recommend this tour ! We really enjoyed it. The views from the top of mount batur are stunning ! Our drivers Komang and Wayan were both fantastic , very friendly and full of knowledge of the history of the area . Wayan took so many pictures of us which are lovely to have , thank you so much Wayan and Komang 😁

Lovely Day Out

We had a great experience at the tour today. Everything was well planned and thought out. Our guide Komang communicated thoroughly with us from the beginning and made sure we are well taken care of. The ride was smooth and fast especially in Bali traffic. You can tell they have done this many times and are an expert at it! Our jeep tour guides were very helpful and took many photos for us and showed us the way all the way throughout. All in all, everyone at this tour genuine care and were very lovely! Highly recommend

Great Day

our drivers were both on time & informative, we were lucky enough to have a beautiful sunrise, and the hot spring was a lovely addition to the activity. make sure you take a jumper even if you’re in Bali in summer as it gets cold at the top of the volcano and at the back of the jeep. Definitely worth the money would do it again.

Mt. Batur Sunset Tour by Jeep

our driver Agus took nice photos and video for us. Sunrise experience was awesome. After sunrise and on the way to the Black Lava,, the view of the typical bali village and field was breathtaking. The rafting experience was also nice. However, I think the tour shall arrange breakfast time before the rafting.

Our driver, Yuda, was very freindly and professional throughout the trip. He had messaged us beforehand to confirm our pickup location for our ease. He drove us up the mountain in a handsome Jeep just in time for the beautiful sunrise. Yuda helped us take many amazing photos and videos. For the ATV adventure, Yuda walked around and took photos and videos again for our keepsake. We thank him very much for his amazing hospitality. Highly reccomended for anyone interested in amazing views with a side of adventure! 👍🏔️💛

Incredible!

Was an entertaining adventure. We got to experience the sunrise on the side of the mountain with 300+ other jeep style vehicles, which was somewhat interesting just in itself. We then broke down, and got to spend an 1 hour or more on the side of the road, watching the 300+ other jeeps drive right on past. Thermal springs and and larva flow fields was all just part of the experience. As long as you can go with the chaotic flow, this experience may be just what your looking for. All round while while tour.

Bumpy & fun

Our Mount Batur sunrise jeep adventure was awesome, make sure to bring jacket, you can rent blanket in the pick up point but i think 100k is too much. The view was super cool, especially at sunrise, the jeep ride was also super fun going to the black sand, jeep drivers was also skilled. We got some amazing pictures above the jeep. And the best part? Ending the day with a relaxing soak in the hot springs with beautiful view , Perfect way to unwind!

Amazing Sunrise Jeep Trip

We were fortunate enough to have Komang as our guide and driver for the Sunrise tour. From the moment we arrived at 3am, Komang was energetic, engaging and a real pleasure to spend the morning with. He is passionate and very knowledgable about Bali and ensured we had the best spot to view the Sunrise. Most surprisingly, his photography skills were outstanding and he captured the moments better than a professional would. He should start a TikTok page on that alone! Komang thank you so much for such a great experience. I’ll be sending anybody who visits Bali your way! As a side note, bring a jacket, it gets chilly in the morning 🥶

Unforgettable Sunrise

The pickup and communication via WhatsApp worked perfectly. Wayan, our driver was very friendly and arrived at the pickup location on time. Our jeep guide Ketut was an absolute blast, not only a jeep driver but also a photo artist, simply great. He took perfect care of everything and took countless, very good photos and videos of us. There were a lot of different jeeps and a lot of tourists at the sunrise spot, but it didn't bother us. It felt like a happening/Jeep meeting. Great atmosphere on site. Absolute recommendation!

Mt Batur Epic adventure!!!

The sunrise is magical. The driver Ketut is super friendly and speaks English very well. He talked a lot with us. Just remember to take warm clothes and not a change of clothes as indicated on Tripadvisor and a mask or scarf for dust and exhaust. Yuda drove us in a jeep, it was great. Pay attention to the time, you are asked to choose but you have no choice, it is 3am. Inform your hotel reception to be able to leave at this time.

fantastic tour

It was a very happy and beautiful trip, especially with the kind and professional driving of the driver. The river rafting was fantastic. The Jeep Tour was also a great trip with a very positive guide. (I think I gave you a little tip. Yes, that's too bad. I'll give you a lot of tips if I find it again next time)

Our driver Ari, was very nice and the overall tour was great. The hike was a bit hard but the view at the top was amazing!

Do it! Unique and personal 4WD experience

A highlight of our Bali trip, this tour was very personal and authentic. Fun 4WD up the mountain to view the volcano and lake. Then driving through the local villages on the way to black lava and volcano. Both our tour guide and driver were fantastic and looked after us, even stopping for us to try durian fruit from the street, they are also brilliant photographers! Highly recommend!

Customized tour suited for all ages

We enjoy a customized tour that suits all ages including children. The tour included a Jeep experience through the volcanic rocks and black lava sand of Mount Batur, followed by the guide leading us up to the top of Mount Batur to experience a glorious sunset. Our guides took very good care of us to ensure we were safe and well enough for the climb up. This is a good alternative to those with elderly/ children and prefer an option with a shorter hike as well as sunset timing.

We went out with Gede Suantika today. Very friendly and calm man, who could tell us all about the area. It really is a wonderful adventure to get up the mountain. Took a lot of beautiful photos and videos. We consciously made the choice for a sunset trip, but we were assured that the sunrise trip would be even more beautiful. Maybe something for next time ;) In any case, we highly recommend this tour/guide.
