East Bali Tour: Gate of Heaven, Water Palace, Sleeping Gajah

The tour is amazing! We started the day quite early in order to reach the Gates of Heaven before opening, so we didn’t have to wait for long to take the pictures. Water Palace is breathtaking and the last stop at the Sleepijg Gajah provided a ver well deserved time to relax on the pool with and amazing lunch. Thanks to Yogakamareka for this great experience as my first solo trip!

A spiritual and mentally refreshing trip

Mr Gusti,my driver and guide came on time and gave background information on Lampayung temple, the Mount Agung. He offered my wife and me tea and coffee with steamed plantain and steamed rice cake stuffed with jaggery and coconut steamed covered in leaf. The photoshoot at the Gate of Heaven was great. We even sampled the locally grown fruit, Snake fruit. After this visit we visited the Water Palace with the well maintained garden and ponds. After this visited the Sleeping Gajah for a feast and a swim. A memorable trip definitely worth recommending to friends.

East of Bali tour with tour guide Eka

My wife and I had a great time visiting east of Bali. Each location was truly stunning. Our tour guide Eka patiently drove us around and took great photos of us at each location. He was attentive, kind and made sure we got the most out of our tour. The lunch was delicious and we got to enjoy the infinity pool with an amazing view to relax and end our tour. The photos are worth the wait.

Family holiday

Amazing day with the whole family! The guide was flexible, helpful and really knowledged! We learnt a lot, experienced a lot and made beautiful pictures thanks to the help from the tour!

This trip was amazing! Great views, scenery, photos and lunch! Our driver Yande was great he was absolutely awesome making us feel as comfortable as possible throughout our tour! Very kind and funny! A spiritual saga

Mr Gusti, our driver and guide came on time in a comfortable car. He gave some introduction about Bali culture and drove us to the Lampayung Temple. While waiting for our turn for the photoshoot at the Gate yo Heaven, Mr Gusti offered steamed bananas and roce cake with coffee and tea. That was very thoughtful. He then took us to Ganga Thirtha and then to the Wapa Li Dume resort for a feast. He kept us engaged in a conversation with his insights and humour. He is a great and safe driver behind the wheels. A tour highly recommended.

Nice tour

Wake up 3:30 start tour 4:05 enjoy the tour with a nice gay and driver Jogi. The tour ended around 3:00 PM. Jogi is the best person and who can understand what what the customer need. That can indicate that my wife lost the "whatch" at the gate and He could manage to get it back. If any one get the tour with him l am quarantie at my word that you get the best driver

Worth the wait! The pool at Sleeping Gajah was the cherry on top!

What a tour! You have to be able to wake up early and wait in a line for your famous Gate of Heaven pictures, but they are sure worth it! Our tour guide Ketur Suwenda helped us by providing light snacks and coffee while we waited, as well as some extra pictures and videos. Then on to the water palace which was nice for additional pictures. Finally lunch and time at the pool. The view was amazing and very low key feeling.

Very nice day trip to some excellent sites

I had an excellent time with Ngurah, visiting the “Gates of heaven,” Tirta Gangga and the Sidemen area of Bali. I appreciated his clear explanations of the sites, succinct answers to my questions, and his safe driving as we visited the sites. The day trip was precisely as described on the site, sticking fastidiously to the itinerary. Arriving at Lempuyang Temple early made for a short night, but was worthwhile. For those curious, there is a number system in place, not too different from what you may find at a butcher. When your number is called, you’re allocated time for photos. This is very tourist friendly as local staff ensures your pictures include only you (and, your trip mates, if applicable. Sarongs are mandatory and provided.

Great tour to get an idea of East Bali

Our tour guide Yosi was very helpful. He gave us several tips along the way. He was also a great photographer! The lunch that was included was delicious.

Great Tour with YOGAKAMAREKA DMC to the Gate of Heaven!

It was a lovely tour and our guide YOGAKAMAREKA DMC was the best chauffeur and tour guide you could wish for!! Very professional. Excellent service, and such warm hearted and jolly companion. The photoshooting at the heavens gate and water temple was very big fun and YOGAKAMAREKA showed us the best places for photos in the sunrise. Thank you very much for a wonderful experience we will remember all our life!!!

Excellent East Bali Tour

We went with Mr.Wayan Widarta and he gave us very enjoyable tour. Everything was perfect. We visited all the places included in the tour. We saw the natural beauties of Bali very well with the explanations of the tour guide.

A very nice tour

A very nice tour today with our driver and guide Komang Godoh across several beautiful places. In particular a Sidemen, we enjoyed a delicious lunch next to the pool before amazing landscape. Thank you very much to Komand Godoh.

One of the best day-long excursions I've taken!

This variety-filled tour/trip was beyond worth the cost we paid! It had so many wonderful little surprises, such as feeding the fish at the water park, learning about and experiencing several religious & royal cultures, enjoying a swim & a delicious meal at an incredibly beautiful private resort, and discovering all the beautiful scenery & landscapes in various areas of Bali. The coffee & tea tasting tour was especially fantastic for those who who enjoy teas, coffees, and new experiences! Special thanks to our knowledgeable guide Enawan & driver Dewa, who helped enlighten us about local culture, feel comfortable in our experiences & safe in our travel! They were early to pick us up, quick to provide anything we needed, and completely and the utterly sociable! Enawan spoke English clearly & fluently, which was a comfort to all of us in our group and was quite knowledgeable about all of the areas we traveled. During the lengthy drive from where we had stayed, our guides provided water, updates, any information we requested, & peaceful quiet when many of our group napped on the longer portions of our travels due to the early start for the trip. I will say that if you suffer from motion sickness, I recommend you prepare for that before this experience. The roads here in Bali are extremely curvy and steep in some areas and involve a lot of stops and starts due to condensed roads & local traffic. I also recommend you wear a short sleeved top and shorts or a mid-length loose skirt when you visit the temple. They will provide a sarong for you to wear around your waist to cover your legs, but if you are wearing a sleeveless shirt, You will need an additional piece of fabric to cover your shoulders and back. This can be cumbersome if you are not used to multiple layers. Additionally, if you are an impatient person, the wait for photos at the Gates of Heaven may be a bit much (We had to wait 3 hours; though, according to our guide, Enawan, individual experiences will vary.). We were lucky to have waited that long, however, because it took that long for the mists to clear on the day of our visit, and we got beautiful photos! During our wait, we were also taken especially good care of by our guide who brought us coffee, snacks, and good conversation! I wholeheartedly recommend this service (as well as Enawan & Dewa for your guides!) if you are in Bali and hoping to experience of a variety of the local cultures!

Best tour and tour guide EVER. Enawan was so knowledgeable, kind, funny, and accommodating. He answered every question so well that it helped us quickly get a deeper understanding of Bali see culture. Also, the scenery at the Gate of Heaven should NOT be missed, the coffee plantation was a fun (and delicious!) experience, etc. Everyone in our group was just blown away by the entire day. Thank you for helping to make our trip to Bali a fantastic one!

Exceptional Tour With Yogi

Had an amazing time on this tour with Yogi as our tour guide. He was extremely patient and kind, took amazing pictures at each location, and informed us of the history of east bali. Yogi is very charismatic and funny, he took amazing care of us during our tour. 10/10 recommend.

Great day!

A great day out during our Bali holiday. Murdock picked us up on time (very early in the morning) and drove us to the Gate of Heaven temple. He took the time to explain how everything works as there were queues of people everywhere. He took lovely photos of us too! It was a great trip. Thank you Murdock!

Great East Bali Tour with Gede!!

We had an amazing tour of East Bali including the Gates of Heaven. It was a lovely day and the perfect itinerary with the perfect guide! Gede was very knowledgeable, kind, honest and accommodating. We are looking forward to our future tours with him. We highly recommend him for yours.

Great driver experience

Gede was such an excellent driver for us. Very informative about culture, customs and way ahead on getting us great places to see. Had wonderful time at beautiful Gates of Heaven without the usual long wait due to his planning. Saw rice paddies, gorgeous Mountain views as well as able to see The Water Palace and all it has to see. Great time!!

Trip was amazing. Waking up for the 4am pickup is definitely worth it because we got to skip the queue at heavens gate and take our pictures and early. Sumana was a great driver and photographer for the three stops we made. Would definitely recommend!!

Incredible experience and driver!

We really enjoyed ourselves on this tour. The Heaven Gates and Water Palace were absolutely stunning! Not to mention the restaurant where we had lunch had spectacular views. But the real highlight of our tour was our driver Yande, who was absolutely amazing! He played a huge part in making our experience so enjoyable and fun. He knew a lot of information and gave local insight to the temples, best photo locations, and even took alternate roads to avoid traffic and get us to each destination faster! The pictures/videos he took of us will be memories we will hold dear forever. Yande really took care of us during the tour, he handled all the admission ticket purchases, tipping photographers, and even brought his own sarongs for us from home so that we weren’t using the ones provided by the temple (which may or may not be clean). Yan truly thought of everything and we did not have to lift a finger! He also was full of great jokes and positive energy the entire trip. He felt like a friend by the end of the day. We want to come back to Bali and would do the same tour again just to hang out with Yande. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars, he deserves 10!! We travel very often and have never had a more positive experience with a driver than we had with Yande. The experience along with him, we could not recommend more. Thank you for everything!!

Beat the Crowds!!!

Our Bali tour with Bagus was truly exceptional. Fantastic idea to time it at 4 AM, which turned out to be a brilliant strategy. This early start meant we beat the crowd and had the stunning Gate of Heaven almost to ourselves. Consequently, we spent less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the beautiful scenery and attractions. Bagus’s thoughtful planning made our experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Bagus for anyone looking to make the most of their Bali adventure.

East Bali Tour with Suli

Highly recommend this tour! Suli was our tour guide and did such an amazing job helping us navigate the entire tour. He spoke very good English and was accommodating to our needs. We were able to maximize our time in east Bali, which was great. You do not want to miss out on this tour. First, they take you to the Gates of Heaven, we got picked up at 4am based on our hotel location. It was worth going early as there were already groups lined up by the time we got to the location, which was about 1.5 hours away. Second, Suli took us to do coffee tasting which was a great stop only 10-15 mins away from our first location. Third, we went to the Water Palace to feed the fishes and explore the area. Suli even helped us take photos. Lastly, he took us to a resort, the Sleeping Gajah, which was a beautiful resort and the lunch that was included was very tasty! We also were able to use their pool, which was an added bonus. Overall, I highly recommend this tour!

Our guide, wayan widarta,...

Our guide, wayan widarta, was really nice and had a lot of great foresight by picking us up super early from the hotel and getting us in line early for the gate of heaven attraction, one of the busiest attractions in bali. By doing that, we were out of there in one hour. He also made sure we were comfortable throughout the tour and even gave us extra fish food for the water temple :)

The view is so amazing and gate of heaven is so picturesque and our tour guide Yogakamareka made it so easy. We’re so lucky to have him as our guide and had an amazing trip altogether. We met Yoga during our North Bali trip and we really enjoyed his guided tour so we personally requested Tour operator to assign him for East Bali trip and he did fantastic job. Lempuyang temple visit is so instagram worthy shot! Must try.

Excellent trip for seeing the beauty of places and people in Bali

This is a early morning start but well worth the trip. Our driver/guide was Made Cepot looked after us all day. Made us feel very special the whole day. The Temple of Heaven absolutely unbelievable place is just one of the many places we visited. We got to experience so much beauty and culture. The people are so polite and helpful. Thankyou Made for making our trip to this part of Bali a memory we will hold dear. Awesome Trip in Bali

Our tour was awesome. Our tour guide Dangin was super in time. He picked us up at 4:00 am and we were the first people at Gate of haven. The pictures are great. Our Tour Guide Dangin was a very good and save driver. He arrange coffee and delicous snacks for us. The waterpalce and everything else was great. We absolutly recommend this Trip with Dangin. We started early at 4AM to make sure we weren’t waiting too long at the Gates Of Heaven and DEDE arrived on time ready to go. DEDE took great photos and videos of us throughout the entire day! The tour ended great with a relaxing swim and lunch. Definitely recommend!
