Maybe not the most exciting water rafting, but still an amazing experience with the nature the river flows through. Nice employees, but the showers are not the best.

Words cannot describe the beauty that is the ayung river The rafting experience is fantastic and the guides are very kind and curtious Also the driver that picked us up and dropped us off was fantastic and very kind also 10/10 recommend Unfortunately, we forgot there was a buffet lunch afterwards and we left without having anything.

Driver and water rafting

Driver was amazing, so friendly! He was great and drove us to our destination and home. His name is Juni, highly recommend. The water rafting was awesome! We had a group of 7 and we all loved it! Well organised and great meal at the end. Great experience overall.

Aril was so friendly and accommodating. We chatted the whole way to and from Ubud. I highly recommend Aril and his company for white water rafting. Our guide on the white water rafting was also fantastic. We also loved playing with the gorgeous mumma cat at the home base. She was such a funny character - we absolutely adored her. Incredible experience

Absolutely amazing experience. The rafting was exception but the experience with Wayan Kartika in the car was fantastic. We were taken around wherever we needed, treated with respect, and all requests fulfilled. I forgot something at the rafting place and Wayan Kartika took care of getting it back for me in his own time the next day

Mid experience

Experience was mid considering how much it cost. Roughly $108 for round trip transport from Sanur to the rafting location in Ubud. The rafting experience itself is advertised as $20 per person so $60 just in transport costs is pretty steep. The rafting itself was fun but the water was pretty calm. I thought it would be more exhilarating with drops and larger rapids but again, very much a rafting experience that a 10 year old kid could do. Overall 3/5 stars.

Bali Bintang 5-star white water rafting

Fantastic 5-star service all around; from the friendly & punctual hotel pick up & drop-off service (Pak Wayan), to our humourous & playful rafting guide (Pak Jonnie), all the staff were very warm & welcoming. My two teens & I had a blast all throughout, so much fun!

We went water rafting it was a great experience and very fun.

Today my sister and I had the pleasure of going water rafting. We had Wayan surata as our tour guide, he was kind, friendly and very helpful. Wayan Surata made our water rafting trip easy and enjoyable. Wayan was on time, provided water and played great music on the car rides. Wayan waited patiently while we went water rafting and ate lunch after. I would highly recommend Wayan Surata as your tour guide.

Wayan Surata was our tour guide and was amazing he was so friendly and made the experience so much fun! the white water rafting was so much fun and such a great experience.

The driver who picked us up and brought us back to the hotel was really nice and helpful. The rafting was fun! The atmosphere was amazing in the jungle and we would definitely recommend it.

Worth doing despite all the steps

Great guide. Was very helpful getting me down the 200 steps and back up the 200 steps which probably should have been mentioned at time of booking. However rafting was fun.

Great thing to do in ubud

We had a lovely time rafting in the àjungle, our driver made surata took care of us from the hotel and back, and our raft instructor was fun and fill of energy

Fun day out

A really fun day out! The river wasn’t too turbulent, not many drops etc, but it was a great day out. The river scenery and waterfalls are beautiful, and it was fun splashing other boats on the water. Lunch after was delicious and had a vegetarian option.

Great fun

Was a great morning out. Our driver Made Suarta picked us up earlier than planned but was happy to wait for us to get our things together. The rover guide we had was great and made the morning on the river one to remember. Would defiantly come back and do this again!

Ubud Ayung Rafting

I can not recommend this company enough! The entire day was just perfect! We arranged pick up to and from our resort which was on time and made it easy for us. Our driver Putu was very friendly and kind! We were able to get a bitang beer before heading to the rapids. Our guide, Spider, made the day so much fun for us! We even had a beer break in the middle of the river! Lunch was excellent!!! So yummy! It was more than I ever expected. The Ayunng river was absolutely beautiful! We had such a great experience!

A ‘Yesterday once more’ adventure

I was at Ayung River for white water rafting 10 years ago with my friends when I was 18 years old. Today I came here again and all the happy memories are brought back🥹 this event is still full of fun, exciting and refreshing. Absolutely recommend it. Also thank Surata our patient driver for the waiting and good driving😃

Awesome experience

It was an awesome experience. Our guide Daniel made it super fun. It was a bit of everything from going through some fun rapids to a slow river "cruise". Stopped at a waterfall for some photos and a beer in the river. Overall a definite must in Bali

Rafting in Ubud

We really enjoyed the rafting experience especially being in very good hands with our tour guide Baron that ensured the trip went smoothly and maximum safety for each individual! In addition to that you were able to see beautiful natural landscapes of Ubud in Bali and visit local businesses! 100% recommended!

White water rafting

Me and my friends went for a white water rafting last week. Overall, it was a good experience. The guide was fun, and our driver, Surata, was very nice and patient, ensuring our safe journey forth and back.

Ayung River white water rafting

Good experience overall. Driver Budiana was good, on time and friendly. Instructor Marcus was very cheerful and helpful. Photo service could have been better as they only took pictures at the end of the rafting where there was not much current.

Water and rafting and lunch were great. Wonderful guide. It would have been nice to know it was 300 steps steps down to the river and 200 steep steps back up. A killer on the legs...

Great experience, excellent service

Great experience from start to finish. Excellent communication beforehand. Experienced and entertaining guide with whom we felt in safe hands. We had life jackets, helmets and a good safety briefing. The river is not too rough or fast flowing even after heavy rainfall but definitely thrilling enough for most! Beautiful 2 hour trip along the river, stunning scenery, about 10 waterfalls (I lost count) one of which you stop at to swim. Lots of people mention the steps - 400 down, 250 up I think but definitely manageable if you are treasonably fit and able. Wonderful experience and good company.

Family trip

The ride was exciting for the kids who were rafting for the first time and the guides seemed experienced and the equipment was adequate. Enjoyed the views of along the route.

Great Rafting Tour

The whitewater rafting on The Ayung River is pretty gentle with beautiful scenery. Approx 200 steps down to River & back up at the end but not too hard as other company's have more. The organisation at Bali Bintang Rafting was efficient, guide was excellent, lunch was OK but must pay for drinks & even when u stop half way along river. The down side was that our driver transferred here was 1 hr late due to traffic apparently. Also be careful when u book as cost us more having to pay in USD instead of AUD even though I selected this & company/ viator did not care!

Amazing activity

Excellent trip. I booked it the day before at 11 pm and the driver was at the hotel at 9 am the next day. The activity was wonderful and well organized. Even Made stayed to make sure everything was fine. I recommend it.

Incredible experience

Best experience thus far in Bali. Unforgettable. The waterfalls are amazing and the river ride was fabulous. My driver, Wayan Surata was incredible. He anticipated my every need and was always there for me. Highly recommend.

Unsafe guide trying to be funny

Our driver was very good, kind and safe. Our guide was obnoxious. I had a nine year with me and he purposively banged us against a rock throwing everyone out of their seat. My son was thrown back and now had had head aches for the last few days. I was told bringing a child would be fine. But because of the negligence of our rafting guide, it was not. This should be safer. The only reason I’m leaving this review is in hope that it doesn’t happen to another person. Be prepared to be harrassed for tips. Also included lunch buffet was not hot and inedible. You can just order there and not pay the additional cost thru Viator. Just book thru someone else that suggests a safe guide they know rather than here. Most of our time in Ubud was awesome. This was not.

Don’t bother if you’ve rafted before.

If you’ve rafted before, don’t bother doing this. This is more like 2 hours of cruising down a lazy river. Regardless of this, my guide was great and tried hard to keep it fun. He also kept constantly asking for tips throughout the whole 2 hours and counted it his tip right in front of you. Lunch was really good.

Awesome whitewater rafting and service!

The whitewater rafting exceeded our expectations. I was a little concerned about how big the rapids would be. They are generally 2-4 feet and there is a fair amount of them. It is very scenic with several spectacular waterfalls along the way! We even saw several monkeys. It was a fun tour and our driver, Wayan Surata, who took us to the location from Seminyak was awesome as well! We were staying in Ubud after the rafting and he stayed the whole time, and let us keep our bags in his vehicle. He also took us to a place to get some beverages and to a currency exchange as well. Awesome service!

Amazing!

The entire experience was amazing. Except for the stairs. Be prepared for them. But other than that, I can’t imagine a more perfect day. We saw tons of waterfalls, butterflies, kingfisher, a large lizard, and lots of smiling faces. Open, our guide, and Wayan, our driver, were both fun and kind.

Our driver Made was very kind and helpful. He was on time and safely drove us to our destinations. 5 stars for him!! The white rafting was very scenic aswell.

Budiana is brilliant ! Right on time for the pickup and the overall rafting experience is really good . Kudos to the team for your work. The only scope for improvement I see is water current is low , which is not in their hands !
