Absolutely must do if in Bali

So very well organised trip from beginning to end. The taxi picked us up from hotel promptly and on time. Our rafting guide Marcus sorted us out with lockers and safety equipment and along with two others took us to the starting point then looked after us during the brilliant rafting experience in a relaxed and knowledgeable way. We are both in our fifties and were a little apprehensive but we had no need to worry .We managed the stairs down to the river (think there’s over three hundred of them ) and then up slightly less steps again at the end by taking our time. The rafting experience itself is not too physically demanding,lots of rest when on the raft and then a nice twenty minute break for snacks half way through that you pay for at the end of the trip. Nice showers with towels provided at the end (bring a change of clothing) and the Indonesian meal was delicious before return to hotel You must go rafting when in Bali ,you won’t regret it

Smooth and comfortable driving around Bali

Had a day trip with 10 friends around Ubud and Canggu. Our driver Ketut Adi was very friendly and helpful during our 12 hours booking, got us safely and comfortably from 7:30am in the morning from Canggu to Ubud. He is very responsive and also drove very comfortably, our group had such a good rest with his smooth driving the whole day. Will definitely recommend. Company was quick to respond to our urgent change of booking timing as well! Thank you to the team!

Fantastic experience and great driver.

Our driver Tirta was amazing! He was early and drove us to all our activities, he was super kind and gave us lots of recommendations of what to do while in Bali. Was very accommodating such an amazing experience. Great energy and very funny, definitely made our day and would recommend to everyone! Took us to try Bali coffee which was delicious and we had lots of fun white water rafting and going on the swings!

Rapid fun

Really well organised and very safe. Lots of steps down to the river and back up. Not a problem for us but bear in mind if the knees are not up to it. Our guide was great - telling us when to row and when to rest. Scenery was spectacular. Pick up on time by Robby and great transfers. Showers very welcoming at the end and a nice lunch. 5 stars.

amazing experience!

it was so much fun! my friends and i thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. on top of that, the scenery was mesmerising and it was therapeutic to enjoy the views while drifting on the river. our guide Lola was very kind and helpful as well! strongly recommend this tour to everyone :-)

Rafting Ubud

The journey down the river was very fun and quite challenging. Walking up and down the stairs was the most difficult part of the trip. Our driver Atu was a lovely guy, drive from our hotel in Kuta to Ubud.

Awesome fun adventure!

Walking first thru farmland then jungle. Descending steep edges of the cliff to get to the river. Amazing fun in the river. It’s not too wild. Beautiful scenery, great captures on camera.

Full of action!

Amazing experience, more than 2 hours fun water rafting journey, we saw a lot of the beautiful nature. Rafting guide was very humble and the lunch at the end of activity was very delicious! Our driver Gungde was also very friendly.

Very nice

Everything was very good and the activity was very fun with beautiful jungle views. Gungde the driver picked us up from our hotel and waited about 3 hours for us to take us home.

Perfect water rafting experience in Ubud - Bali

We were surprised and did not expect to have a very unforgettable experience. I think everyone who comes to Bali should try this challenge. The pick up and drop off service are included in the package, we had Surya as our driver. He is very experienced and professional, hope we can meet him again on our next visit.

Ubud rafting experience

I got a recommendation from a friend to try river rafting in Bali and we were not disappointed. We booked through klook and chose a package that included pick up and drop off service, then we got a very funny guy named Gungde as our driver. The river rafting experience was fun with amazing scenery. Lunch also provided in the venue with delicious traditional food.

Bali water rafting

A great day with Atu, our very knowledgeable and fun driver. The footpath to the river is quite difficult with lots of stairs, but the river rafting experience was lots of fun. The lunch food was also quite nice which is a variety of delicious Indonesian food.

Super Amazing

Ajik was outstanding with an amazing personality, knowledgeable and funny. The rafting that was an awesome experience with incredible waterfall. Definitely a must activity to do when you come to Bali.

First ever Bali water rafting experience

The hotel pick up was on time with very friendly and helpful driver Atu. It was my first ever water rafting experience in Bali and I having a blast! I was very excited to see the beautiful views along the rafting track.

I really like the water rafting in Ayung River, the water is quite clear. The guides are really nice and friendly, and the driver from Bali SUN (Ajik) who took me to the venue was also very helpful and made me feel safe.

Valuable water rafting activity

It was so valuable and thrilling activity. Starting 9.00. We did 12 kilometers of rafting for two hours! The staff and instructor was so professional and informative. Our hotel transfer driver Usik was Amazing and very warm.

Memorable rafting experience

It was great. The best part is accurate pick-up. A view of Ubud rainforest and a save rafting course that is suitable for families including children. Our pick-up driver was Ajik. He came on time to our hotel. He is so kind and friendly. Our rafting instructor nyoman was also a great person and so patient.

Great way to be close to Bali's natural beauty

Great experience to be close to native lives and see nature. Our guide tried to entertain us and is very polite. We would recommend this company and this activity.

Awesome experience

Overall great tour. The children (7 and 10) had a lot of fun, as had their parents. Our guide was a nice and funny person and told us a bit about the area during the quieter parts of the drive. Good balance between adventure and nature. All topped with a decent lunch at the end.

Must do rafting in Ubud

We really enjoy our time in Ubud. Rafting is a must if you are visiting Ubud. The experience was amazing and fun. Our rafting instructor Gede was so helpful and informative and the lunch was delicious. Also we want to thank to our driver Atu who provide transport from hotel to rafting venue.

Great fun Bali water rafting

Very good value for money! The driver Mas Agus was so kind and friendly. The rafting guide kadek was kind and it was a lot of fun. The rafting is very good for beginners, very recommend.

Having a wild time on the river

The trip was a blast. We had so much fun. The views are spectacular. We even saw some monkeys on the shoreline. Guides were great. A few cautions for future guests-the trip to get to the starting point is literally a open flat bed truck with benches to sit on (but it's the same for all tours in that area), to get to the river you have to descend 300 very steep stairs (but its worth it). They advise you not to take cameras in your pockets but we carried a waterproof neck pouch (which they will also try to sell you) to protect our phones and pulled the phones out for pictures whenever the river settled down a bit. You will get wet so wear a swim suit and water shoes. They offered showers at the end but we did not bother with them.

Loved me some rapids

Best brown water / white water rafting in Bali. Guide spoke English to give us commands when and how hard to paddle. The 300 steps down to the water + the 200 steps up made for good stair master workout. The 10km rafting trip of out standing 2 and 3 rapids was filled with green jungle and waterfalls. Ample snack bars along the way too.

Unforgettable rafting scenery

Rafting is a must in Bali. I went alone, but I singed up and went on tour with many people from other countries. I still can't forget that scenery. My driver nararya was also very friendly.

Exciting Nature-based activity

What a fun way to see the Ubud's lush forest and Bali's longest river. The trek down to the river through rice fields and jungle (they say there are 400 steps) is an experience in itself. The guides really look after you and are happy to answer any questions.

Think twice.

I booked 2 tickets for a river trip. My friend ended up being sick on the day, and I could not get a lift to the office on time. I tried to work out a refund with the rafting company, and their response required Viator to be involved. The result, a family in fact paid extra at the office to exclude me from their trip, I waited at the rafting office for an hour and decided to leave. I contacted Viator to apply for a refund and "unfortunately" nothing could be done. I recommend Ubud Rafting and booking with any other travel company.

Best activity in Bali , 10/10

From start to finish the whole experience was 10/10. We are driven a short distance from the rafting shop to the starting point of the river. After a 15 minute walk down stairs we arrive at the location. A quick introduction and we are off for an amazing rafting experience along the ayung river that was without a doubt the best thing I’ve ever done.

Amazing

The water rafting was amazing and was 2 hours long with a snack/drink break halfway. Then we did the Ubud tour, and our tour guide, Okta, was awesome! He catered to whatever we wanted to do, and he was sooooo sweet! Just a warning, to get to the river, you have to go down 200 steps, and climb back up!

Very fun activity

Had a wonderful time! Small rapids not scary at all. Water not cold. Guide was excellent at steering the raft. Only thing to know is it’s several hundred stairs down to the river and 250 up at the end.

I recommend trying it

good fun in Bali, it is also suitable for small children. Thumbs up from me. More than l of rafting, not about his, which the guides demonstrate.

Go for it. Think less, do more!

I did white water rafting followed by a silver making workshop. Rafting was very enjoyable, be it the views, the friendly company of both fellow tourist and operators, and the excitement of the activity. The silver making workshop is great as well. They explain to you the process of making silver and then you get to pick what you want to make from a range of different accessories. The patient and friendly artisans are infinitely more skillful but at least the imperfections of my craft makes it uniquely my own. Special mention to Mang Adi, my assigned driver. He arrived almost 30 minutes early for pick up and was very friendly. He helped clear up anything along the way and even made a small detour for some coffee tasting (Luwak coffee available). Definitely made an exciting day that much better.

Driver Dodik as good as the rafting experience!

Our driver Dodik picked us up on time from our accommodation and he was amazing. He was knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He had so much cultural knowledge to share and even took us to show his own family compound and family! The rafting itself was fantastic from start to finish. The ride in the back of the truck to the starting point was certainly an adventure in itself! There were many steep steps to walk down to get to the rafts and may not suit everyone, but once we got down there, the experience was fantastic. The raft guide was very entertaining and made sure we had a great time. The scenery was also beautiful. It was also cool how we got to stop at a little shop along the way for a drink and snack.

Our driver,Dalmadi, was great. He drove us safely, and he was so kind. I'd love to go back and travel with him.

Rafting and Ubud Tour with Awesome Guide

We had a great time water rafting with Bali Sun Tours. We booked the water rafting with Ubud tour to follow and the whole process was easy and convenient. Our guide Yasa confirmed pickup time and location with us the night before. We were a little nervous because it was our very first time in Bali and we weren’t sure if it would be difficult to find him among the sea of other cars and drivers in front of the hotel. However, Yasa quickly found us and we were on our way. He made us feel comfortable and was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and kind. We went to Bali Bintang Rafting and they provide small lockers for a deposit that is refunded afterwards. They also provide you with a life vest, helmet, paddle and drive you to the location. Rafting was so much fun and our rafting guide kept us safe and back on track whenever we got stuck. There was even a rest stop about half way through where you could give your arms a break and buy snacks or refreshments. Afterwards, lunch is provided and we met up with Yasa again for our Ubud tour. Yasa helped us take some amazing pictures at the rice terraces and took us back to the hotel at the end of our tour. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Bali.

We had such an amazing tour with our instructor Yoga! He showed us all around Ubud and was so lovely with us!! Highly recommend☺️

Fun trip.
