Beach hopping in Bali

The beach hopping tour was an enjoyable experience however it came with slight frustrations! The tour itself is built for people who stay near Nusa Dua beach in which we stayed in Ubud this meant it was a 2 hour car journey there and back which the tour does not factor in! We were meant to go to Nusa Dua, pa dang and Gerang however due to time constraints we were unable to go to Gerang beach! After the beaches we went to Uluwatu temple in which we choose to go to the fire dance however we’re unable to get tickets this was quite frustrating as we found out we could book online! The tour company itself should give this as an option to ensure the fire dance! Our tour guide did everything he could to try and meet the deadlines however the tour is unachievable for residents in Ubud! When we didn’t get the tickets our tour guide took us right away to another beach which had the fire dance taking place and ensured us a ticket there in which me and my partner enjoyed the fire dance! Overall our tour guide was great however the tour itself needs to factor in hotel locations and remove or add time depending on where you stay

Beach Hopping Experience

Our tour guide Kadak gave us a tour in which we wouldn’t have been able to do if it wasn’t for him. Staying 2 hours from beaches made it hard for us so this trip especially for the price was the perfect fit. The tour states you visit 3 beaches; Nusa Dua (3 hours), Gerang (2 hours) Pedang Pedang (1 hour); then you visit Uluwatu Temple (2 hours) with optional Kedak Fire Dance. Through no fault of Kadak, this was not possible in the timeframe set out by the company. We only managed to get to two beaches Nusa Dua (1 hour) and Pedang Pedang (2 hours), we then went to Uluwatu Temple, where unfortunately we couldn’t get the fire dance tickets- you had to queue for this amongst hundreds of people at the temple (we later learnt that these could be booked online and potentially something the company should look at to guarantee the experience for those customers wanting this I.e asking through messages or having a note option when booking) however Kadak went above and beyond with them taking us to Melasti beach where we were able to watch the fire dance on the cliff overlooking the beach. We were asked continuously to review the experience whilst we were there and to give 5 stars, not that this is Kadak’s fault, but the pressure on him from his company to get good reviews else he gets no business, really made me feel quite sad as that stress can’t be good ! It also was overwhelming for us and made us feel pressured to do this. Also if the time had gone over it was an extra 50,000p/h for the time of the driver, whilst we didn’t have an issue if this happened, for others it may of been good to have noted on the Viator advert. Overall a trip made possible by this tour and Kadak went above and beyond to meet the tour requirements where possible however the company may need to review option of Ubud pick up or revise plan to have earlier pick up and later drop off to account for the distance in order to not charge for extra hours for those areas that the tour is not achievable from. Once again Kadak did a great job and highly recommend tours with him as he was a great tour guide and went above and beyond for us to have the best experience. These 4 stars are for Kadak

This is not a TOUR! It’s a car service.

This is not a tour by any means!!! This includes nothing other than a driver. This is basically a more expensive driver Service labeled as a tour. The driver is not a tour guide and may and may not speak good English. I was not impressed by any means.

Beach and Uluwatu day

Loved Padang Padang beach. It was small and crowded but stunningly beautiful.. Uluwatu sunset was breathtaking. Our Driver Dai BuBu was sweet and very engaging. 😊

The best 1st day in Bali

What a blast of a day!!!! Rio was the best driver/guide! 13 of us pile into a comfortable van at 900 (he picked us up on time, smiling and upbeat) and headed to the 1st beach. By the end of the day we had visited 4 beaches, watched the sun set at Padang Padang Beach, and ate a most delicious dinner of fresh fish seated outside on a beach, listening to the ocean and being entertained with live music and traditional dance. What a wonderful first day in Bali!!! What I liked best about Rio was how very accommodating he was. With 12 women in tow, he had no problem changing the plan for the day or adding an extra stop on a moments notice. In the end we kept him 1 to 2 hours past the agreed time. And he seemed to enjoy our quite loud opinionated group. Thank you Rio for an amazing adventure.

Gorgeous beaches …

Rio took us to 4 different beaches, each with something special, and a seafood dinner on the beach. What a beautiful trip he gave us.

Wonderful experience with Wayan

We had the most amazing day with Wayan. The entire day was so seamless. He was incredibly prompt and accommodating. He made sure we were exactly where we wanted to be and that we were comfortable before we left him at each stop. He walked us through the Uluwatu temple and made sure we were safe and took photos of us at the best spots. We also wanted to make a small stop at a shop and he was very accommodating. His driving was very good and we felt safe the entire time. Definitely would recommend this tour as it has been our favorite day in Bali yet!

Amazing!

Our guide “uncle Made” was so helpful and informative. He took his time to explain and answer all our questions. The places we visited were great! The beaches were amazing! Highly recommend!

Beaches Hopping

We had a fabulous day visiting three lovely beaches. Our guide Debobo was very accommodating and waited patiently for us to finish at each stop. He even made an extra stop to enable us to access an ATM and buy food.

We had Debobo as our driver today and he was great. He was on time and very nice. He was also very understanding and made sure we were ok.

Great day spent beach hopping

De Bobo was our driver and he drove safely and was able to provide tips for every stop. In the way back it began raining fairly hard and we felt safe because he was an excellent driver. Every beach was beautiful and the Uluwatu Temple, despite being filled with tons of other tourists, was such a wonderful experienceZ

Gorgeous Beaches and temple tour.

I really enjoyed the time spent with Adi as he drove me to two gorgeous beaches and a lovely famous temple. He was knowledgeable, kind, and let me sort of direct the day. I never felt rushed and could ask him questions about what we were seeing, but also curiosities about Bali in general. Definitely recommend doing something with Adi.

Great day out

Debobo was very helpful and so patient while we were at the beaches. Car was clean and great aircon when we went between beaches. He was funny and fun. 😀

Beach Hopping Bali

The beach hopping was good we had an issue with the temple visit but this was resolved by the your company overall a good experience and the tour company Rio Bali Tours were very helpful.

Unique Experience

What a fantastic guide! I have truly enjoyed my trip. I highly recommend him! We went in so many nice places! Car was also very convenient!

Great driver

Deborah was great taking my round to the beaches and waiting patiently for me while I was there. He helped me with Uluwatu temple and warned me about the monkeys. I had a lovely day :)

Bali Beach Hopping -Ulswatu Temple

Brilliant trip . Beautiful beaches best beach was Padang Padang . We watched the Kecak and Fire Dance well worth it. Our driver and tour guide Adwa was amazing Spoke perfect English very informative , helpful. Would hight recommend

Great Driver, Beautiful Beaches

Wayan was a great driver and guide. He was able to pick us up from our hotel in Ubud. He also took some amazing photos of us at Uluwatu Temple. We stayed at Nusa Dua beach for maybe 1 hour then decided to leave because of the smell, which you probably won’t notice until you go into the water and then come back out... We ended up spending most of our day at Geger Beach which was beautiful and very relaxing. Then we ended the trip at Uluwatu Temple. The views there are out of this world.

Lost in Bali

January 2024 Overall, this is a nice tour that packages beaches and Uluwatu Temple together which is exactly what we were looking for. Wayan Reddog was our driver and he was super friendly and let us do our own thing on our own time. I love you Bali

We had a great day with Budi, who is genuinely one of the nicest guides/drivers we've had. Professional, polite, fun, and extremely helpful! Very comfortable, clean car to go to the beautiful calm beaches in Nusa Dua and Padang Padang. End the day with the Uluwatu temple where Budi stood in line to get tickets for the fire dance while we wandered the temple complex. He was extremely accommodating to make quick stops we needed for the pharmacy and store and even offered to wait if we wanted to go somewhere for dinner, even though the 8 hours of the tour was well over. Highly recommended!

Ok to join

Was Ok, they take us to 3 beaches and uluwatu temple. Ride was smooth, car was clean and fine. Tickets to beaches pay to entrance separately. WhatsApp communication convenient.

Temple, beach day

The beaches and temple were amazing today! My driver Dewawas very friendly and helped take pictures at the temple and took me to a real cool coffee, tea bar.

Fun Day

Overall, this is a nice tour that packages beaches and Uluwatu Temple together which is exactly what we were looking for. Dewa was our driver and he was super friendly and let us do our own thing on our own time. My only complaint is that the first beach, Nusa Dua, is specifically geared towards water sports and there isn’t a way around that. You can’t swim there because of the water sports and the beach itself smelled. We ended up wandering over to the hotel next door to sit in the bar until it was time to go. If water sports is what you are looking for, then great! Otherwise, Geger and Padang Padang beaches were beautiful and Dewa was an awesome guide around Uluwatu Temple and took lots of photos for us. Thanks Dewa! Keep in mind you will need to pay for parking at one or two of the beaches, as well as the admission fee for Padang Padang beach and the temple.

Good little day out cruising around the south west point of Bali. Debobo was a knowledgeable local who's up for a chat and makes for an easy day out!

Beach Hopping in Nusa Dua

I had the most wonderful day beach hopping and visiting the amazing Uluwatu Temple. My guide, Adi, is the very best. He was helpful, kind, informative and so very flexible. He truly made this tour an unforgettable one. I highly recommend Adi and this fantastic experience!

Excellent day of beaches and a fire dance

We had a great time, Wayan was a fantastic driver and guide. He also stood in line for us to get our tickets so we could have more time at the beach. 10 out of 10 would recommend and book again

Surpassed all expectations.

The entire day was excellent, only getting better as the day rolled on. Started with parasailing with my boys to see the beaches of Nusa Dua, Then off for a coconut and dip at Geger beach. However, the best beach by far was Padang padang beach. The clearest water, nice soft sand, with picturesque cliffs on both sides. The drive to Uluwatu Temple wasn’t very far which had spectacular views of the ocean and cliffs. After a little wander though the monkeys playing (and stealing a few unattended water bottles) we were ushered into an area to watch the Kechak dance at sunset. It was fun, very cool to watch and my wife and kids loved it too. Wayan Reddog was an excellent host, great conversation and helpful with local knowledge and was so gracious in helping us with some local customs. Also Wayan was just the best sport and answered every one of the 5000 questions my boys asked.

We can’t thank Dewa enough. Absolutely fantastic tour guide, the nicest genuine man you could meet. He took us wherever we wanted and more, looked after us and felt 100% safe in his company. The visit to the temple at sunset will last in our memories forever……… thank you

DEWA best driver and tour guide - highly recommend.

Fantastic beach tour our driver Dewa was brilliant. The first beach we visited we did paragliding and visited the Turkey sanctuary and it was excellent. Our driver was very flexible and waited while we spent as much time at the beach as we wanted.it was an absolutely amazing day trip and would highly recommend.

Lovely people

We decide to take a day trip around during our stay in Bali. We were taken by Wayan Red Dog in a very nice, comfortable and clean car. Always get amazed by hospitality in Bali, Red Dog was very careful in our needs, we have an one year old girl and was taking care of her, checking if we were good and satisfied, giving nice recommendations and open to any changes with no complains, very patiently. We had an awesome time and would recommend 100%, hoping to be back soon and continuing traveling around the island.

Very good tour guide Debobo!

Debobo, our driver, was very nice, responsive and punctual. He adjusted to our preferences and took us where we wanted.

Great tour. Disappointed reef and coral tour

Our host was very good and spoke good English, he explained the whole trip well. We arrived at 1 of the beaches that had a tour of Monkey Island plus a glass bottom boat tour included. Do not add the fish and reef tour it was a total rip off!!! Very disappointed The rest of the trip was excellent

Beach hopping. Uluwatu Temple.

Rio Bali Tours have planned the best tour to see all the wonderful beaches in Bali all in one day. From the moment the tour began Rio was the perfect guide, great conversations and many laughs. At each stop there was plenty of time to relax and go for a swim. Watching the Kecak dance and sunset at the Uluwatu Temple was the perfect end to an amazing day trip. I highly recommend Rio Bali Tours for all experiences in Bali.

Beaches, coffee and more

Debobo was our guide and he was great. We started our tour with a trip to the coffee plantation. It wasn’t listed on the itinerary and it was amazing. We then went to 3 different beaches the first beach was for some kind of water sport we declined these activities because we wanted to swim and lay on the beach. The other two were fantastic. Debobo also recommended we eat lunch at one of the, we did and it was delicious. On our way back to our hotel he let us stop for dinner. He took us to a place on the beach where we could watch the sunset. Overall it was a great tour. If you are staying in the Ubud area prepare for at least a 2 hour drive there and back. This was not Debobo’s fault but it was something we wished we had known prior to booking as we felt we spent a lot of time in a car.

We had a great time on this tour! Debobo was our driver and was on time and very nice. He let us take our time at all beaches and water sports and then when we got to the uluwatu temple, he waited in line for us to get tickets to the dance while we explored the temple. Highly recommend

Beach Hopping and Sunset 🌇

Pick this tour for our last day in Bali, and it was a perfect day. Our taxi man and guide Gunawan was excellent. He gave us the flexibility to spend as much time at each beach as we wanted. Should have given ourselves more time at Uluwatu Temple to look around before the sunset, but still amazing. Highly recommended 👌
