Had a wonderful Bali experince of 7-8 days in visting many famous resorts temples, waterfalls and beaches. Hired a driver Manik Agung from HireBaliDriver. Manik is an excellent driver, excellent English speaking & he knew Bali in & out.

This was our first trip to Indonesia and it was so much better than we imagined it would be! Our driver, Komang Pi, from Hire Bali Driver took us to various places around Ubud including the Monkey Forest, various waterfalls, temples, rice terraces, photo spots, and silver and coffee factories that included guided tours and sampling, and so much more. The amount of destinations covered in a mere 3 day span was amazing while never once feeling rushed. Would highly recommend and come again my self 👍👍

2 weeks in Bali with Hire Bali Driver

From the moment we were picked up at DPS by Agung Manik, the trip turned out to be even more amazing! When you arrive into a new country not knowing anyone, all you want is to be greeted with a smile and thats exactly what happened and more! Manik our driver picked us up at the aiport and drove us to our hotel as well as other locations in Bali we were staying always with a smile! We chose the 3 day Best of Bali tour and stayed in Ubud, and he drove every morning from far to pick us up on time and again with a smile, this is service! At the end of the trip it was like leaving family, we exchanged hugs and really appreciate him and his time for showing us his beautiful country! When we come back, I'll only request Manik at Hire Bali Driver!

Balinese experience with HBD

We booked three days for the best places you can see in Bali. But, there is no such thing in Bali couse all the places are amazing. People are very nice, always smilling and willing to help you. Amazing Driver

Hendra was a great driver. Was super nice, helpful and willing to adapt the tour to what we wanted. Also went out of his way to make sure we weee comfortable and saw what we want. Hands down easily the best TOUR company in Bali

From the moment we had sent our first message to Wayan through whatsapp we can already tell how much he cares about his business through prompt and detailed responses. Along with booking the 3 days for the best of Ubud private tour we also booked a 1 day Seminyak tour along with our transfers including from the airport to our hotel in Ubud and was lucky enough to have been assigned Yogy for the entire booking. From the moment we landed Yogy was already at the gates waiting for us and had the biggest and most friendly smile you can find! He made us feel very welcomed and continuously checked up on us to ensure that we were comfortable. He was very knowledgeable about everywhere we had visited and at times we were very surprised by the stories he had of many places. Tour destinations are planned in advance however they are also very flexible as you can take things off or add things depending on your interests so you never have to visit a place you aren't interested in so that was a bonus. I recently visited Bali with my husband and we spent 4 nights in Ubud. Whilst there we had private tours booked with Benik which included the North trip, Batur Trekking and best of Ubud. I honestly cannot recommend Benik highly enough, we thoroughly enjoyed all 3 trips with him. He genuinely cared that we were enjoying our days and made the most of our time in Bali- he looked after us really well and took care of absolutely everything (tickets etc). He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of this and his experiences with us- we learnt a lot from him-thank you. There were also personal touches such as stopping to purchase local fruits for us to try in North Bali and showing us his village. He was also fun, knew all the best spots for great photographs/videos and was happy to take these for us which we really appreciated. I am in Bali enjoying my last day here and cant help but think about what an amazing trip it has been. I am a solo traveler from San Francisco and started my research weeks in advance of planning my trip itinerary. My overall rating is a 5 star for so many reasons. The main ones are below: BOOKING and COMMUNICATIONS: I found Wayan and his company Hire Bali Driver on TripAdvisor thanks to his clever use of the right google keywords. I sent him an email and heard back in 24 hrs. From there, it took only about 2-3 emails to finalized an itinerary and confirm my plans. I was very clear on what I wanted to do which was to visit the temples of Bali, see some popular sights like the rice terraces and explore the local area. I also opted to have them do airport pick up and drop off which made it a LOT easier for me. LOCAL BUSINESS: This is 100% a local business run by a local who hires local people. This was important to me as I wanted my spend to benefit a local owned business. I am mindful of this anytime I travel. CUSTOMIZED ITINERARY: Although Wayan does a great job of curating tours for his clients, I wanted a private tour with a specific itinerary. I wanted to visit specific temples. I spent a lot of time making a list of what I wanted to see but I got their help to group them into each day based on distance, travel time and region. DEWA: DEWA was my driver for the 3 days and he deserves his own category. DEWA is a local guide / driver with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I was able to find him easily at the airport. I was starving when I got off the plane after flying for 24 hrs from SFO to DPS. He took me to a local warung upon my request and it was a great way to start my trip ! Throughout the 3 days, DEWA was extremely helpful, engaging, attentive and a joy to be around. He is also very proud and passionate about his culture so he was able to create an immersive experience for me with my temple visits. It was more than what I was looking for. We shared many laughs and stories about how our cultures are similar since I was born and raised in India. I travel solo once a year and this by far, is the best SOLO trip of my life! I cannot wait to come back to Bali with my family. I am telling all my friends about Hire Bali Driver as I believe they are the most reliable, local business that I have come across. They also go over and beyond to ensure you have a great visit to Bali. And most importantly they are proud of being Balinese and are so welcoming of people who are here to appreciate their country, their culture and their people.

Fantastic Experience with Agus!

So glad we booked our private tour with hirebalidriver, they were absolutely brilliant. Wayan was very quick to respond to our booking request for an airport pick up and a 3 day private tour around Bali. Our driver/guide was Agus and he was amazing from start to finish: 1. Agus was very knowledgeable and provided great insight into the history of sights we were visting. He introduced us to the local culture and places to eat traditional Indonesian and Balinese food after learning we were great lovers of trying local foods. He even gave us some home made treats prepared by his mum! 2. Agus is a very confident and safe driver. He was always on time to pick us up and the car was always clean (we travelled around in a Toyota Rush) 3. He provided great advice and suggestions. For example, Agus recommended to visit the Kanto Lampo Waterfall instead of Tibumana as the waters would be muddy at this time of year, which saved us from any disappointment. He also helped arrange a same day private snorkling trip at the Blue Lagoon. He was always flexible, accommodating and helpful, making sure we experienced the very best of Bali. 4. Agus made our trip and exploration of Bali so much more personal and enjoyable. He has a great personality, friendly and easy to talk to whether it's about family, life in Bali during the pandemic, hobbies or interests. We would definitely book more trips with Agus the next time we are in Bali. Overall a fantastic experience and highly recommended.

Hire Bali Driver big plus to discover Bali

Beside the mentioned activity. we spent in total six (non-consecutive) wonderful days with our private guide Gede. He brought us to many beautiful places, ensured we had the best spots to take pictures and had the best seats and views. He gave us plenty of information about the Bali culture, society, religions, and kitchen. The tours offered by HBD are great and as they take care of the tickets we had no stress about time-slots and what so ever. The resort pick up service (including a lot of fresh cold water) was prompt and reliable. The car was clean and non-smoking. Using HBD is a big plus if you want to discover Bali.

We have the 3 days tour with Kantun. He's a very good guide, available and he knows how to take you tp the places without finding queues. He tells you many things about Bali culture. We would suggest the tour to everyone.

Three days we will never forget

On DAY 2, we visited famous Bali temples, Dewa (our tour guide) took us to magnificent rice fields where we had the opportunity and time to buy authentic Balinese products. A day to remember, Dewa is brilliant and you won't regret doing this beautiful Bali tour! DAY 3, the waterfalls! Dewa (our tour guide) took us to Balinese hidden gems just around Ubud which would be otherwise stayed hidden. Breath-taking nature resorts gave us an unforgettable day in Ubud area. 4 waterfalls and lunch in one of most famous Balinese restaruants with Dewa making the order to help us taste a bit of Bali as well. Waterfalls were free to explore and swim in so the memories kept getting better and better. Thank you Dewa for three days we will never forget.:)

Epic experience

We were in the hands of Rudy, really good driver and guide, always at our disposal. I forgot my jacket in Ubudbin the hotel, I called him and asked to check. I was in the south part and I asked him to come to bring it. We travel almost all the island together to Vulcan, to the temple, rice fields, he became a good friend and I already suggested to my friends. Good choice. Next time in Bali I will ask for him again for sure

Best Tour in Bali

We are fortunate to have Sakha as our driver throughout the trip. He is always on time and ready for the tours. The tour covers most of the interesting spots and is well organized. You will be happy at the end. The private tour gives much more flexibility and you move at your own pace. If you have any doubts, don’t hesitate to talk to them. 3 Day Ubud Tour - Day I

It was our first day of a 3 day Ubud Tour and our expectations were high! And we have to say that Dewa (our tourist guide) made our day even better that we ever expected :) He made all the stops (and couple of more) having time and energy to explain things with joy and patience - and we had a lot of questions! Benik is the best guide one could ever ask for! He was very welcoming and communicative since the moment we landed in Bali. All of us vibed instantly on Bollywood songs and also went out of his way to provide us an authentic Bali trip with little things like getting us Balinese cake for breakfast, buying us postcards, Indonesian culture and history.

Excellent trip plans from Hire Bali Driver

We are family of four spending time from Legian - Ubud - Nusa Dua. We planned our itinerary 3 months in advance with Hire Bali Driver and they were very accommodating and upfront with cost , time and suggestions. Our driver for 4 days (10-12hrs) was Wayan Suyasa who is from Ubud. He was excellent, friendly and very knowledgeable about all areas we wanted to visit in Ubud, north bali, east of bali. His recommended lunch stops, silver jewelery maker and massage+spa can not be faulted. We have had suggestions from random drivers in our free time and it was disappointing i.e. what markets for souvenirs, what restaurants to eat. We visited tanah lot, water palace, waterfalls, north bali palace, hidden gem (Bird nest) instagram area to take picture, markets, beaches, and several other areas. Importantly why we recommend him and the company is (1) good suggestions of places to visit, (2) good food locals know of (3) friendly and felt safe (4) always on time and waiting for us (5) extended his personal time to stay with a few hours extra on occasions (6) even babysit our two kids while missus and I did shopping (7) knows local guides and vendors that helped us travel through various areas He is able to cater for family trips or adventurous trips that require walking distances to waterfalls etc. Also he acted as our photographer which he did much better than i would. if you want comfort drive and a cool driver, Wayan is the person

Amazing experience with an amazing guide (Desna)

Our guide Desna was amazing. He was so nice, knowledgeable and super friendly. It was so nice to be able to learn about the history of some of the places we visited and it was great to have someone on hand to ask questions about things we noticed. Much better than if we had gone to the places ourselves. We also wouldn't have visited half the places had we not booked the tour. The long journeys between places felt much shorter as we would get into deep conversation with him as we learnt more and more about Bali. Not only is he a driver, but he also takes you around all the locations as a private guide and he's also a great photographer, often offering to take photos for you all the time at very nice locations 👌 He was also happy and considerate to give us as much time as we wanted at all the locations so we didn't feel rushed and could enjoy the sites as much as possible. All in all, 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

Outstanding experience

This has been one of the best experiences I have had traveling. The driver-guide (Gede Wiratma) was exceptional. Very good driver, and even better guide! As a female solo-traveler I felt safe and accompanied. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone else who wants to have a good trip in Bali. The places I visited were great. Gede has given me wise advice on how to act or what to do depending on the place. He has also adapted the tour to my needs at every moment. She made sure I didn't miss anything (drinks, food, souvenirs) and taught me a lot of things about the culture of the place. If I return to Bali I will definitely contact this agency again.
