It was our first dive ever, and it was perfect thabks to dive concepts and andrew. starting with a very customer friendly exchange of information and very flexible booking, via the pick up in amed and transfer to the dive Spot to the final introduction and dive tours, including drinking break and lots of explanation. we are definitly hooked and want to do it again. thank you andrew!

Lovely introduction to diving!

Solid instructors, lovely views, good variety of marine life and flexible timing. The currents are a wee bit rough getting into the water. Also be aware that if you have any medical issues (regardless of how minor), they will require a signed health clearance. :)

Lots of fun!

This was a great intro to diving experience. The shop was well run and our guide extremely knowledgeable. We spent the right amount of time on safety protocols which I appreciated and showed the professionalism of the tour operation. Would absolutely go again.

This was an overall amazing experience. Expectations were quite high due to all the great reviews, but they were still met - if not even exceeded. Big thanks to our diving instructor Theo. It was my first dive ever, but he explained everything very well so that it felt almost natural quite soon. His perception of our level of comfort was spot on and therefore he gave us exactly so much freedom under water that it felt like we were diving individually, but still felt save. Lastly, the diving spot was amazing with the ship wreck and all the corals & divers types of fish. We highly recommend this spot, Theo & the whole Dive Concept Team! Thanks again!

Dive with my daughter

Very well organised journey, fully in confidence with Budy as my daughter was new in diving. Explanation, safety was excellent. We did 2 dives, one for training and one for discover the USIT wreck. Incredible souvenir!!

Nice & passionate instructors, awesome dive site & beautiful waters

I dived with dive instructor Julien who was super good in making me feel safe and secure as I had abit of a bad experience taking my open water course more than 8 years ago so I had thus pretty much gave up the idea of diving due to lack of confidence and phobia. He briefed me very clearly and got me to practise some basic skills again and constantly checked if I was ok in the water. He also pointed out to me lots of interesting life around the shipwreck that I would have otherwise missed and even though I only did 6 dives (in thailand and philippines) before, I never saw so much variety of life including my first ever turtle! And the beautiful blueness of the water without having to go more than 10m under is just extreme bonus. Tulamben is indeed a very nice dive site to explore especially for beginners like me. In fact, the whole experience revived in me the enthusiasm and curiosity I have for diving again and I want to thank instructor Julien for his dedicated and amazing guidance and confidence!

Amazing

Had a fantastic day diving with BUDI. There was four in our group 2 of us nervous and 1 of us with motion sickness. Somehow he managed to get all of us diving down to 12m around the wreck and we had a great experience and felt safe all through . It’s made me and my daughter want to do more scuba. It felt like a major achievement for us all but I really think it was down to BUDI and his caring attitude and confidence building techniques . Thanks BUDI from Jackie and Charley 5-8-2022

Loved the place and the dive!

Tried scuba diving for the first time and it was amazing! My instructor (Rifky) was really good at explaining the technicalities in diving and what to do. If you go there, make sure to ask for him! The shipwreck was bigger than I expected and the sealife was more abundant than expected.

Incredible experience, even for a first-timer

The shipwreck is a phenomenal sight. This was my first time scuba diving and they made it very easy. Budi was my instructor and guide, explained everything clearly and helped me understand the basics on our test dive. The second dive was to see the shipwreck and it was the highlight of my Bali trip. Amazing sea life, colors, and sensations!

First time diver.

We went with our instructor Yogi who took us to see the shipwreck. It was our first time diving and he was very good. He took his time and was patient with my wife as she was quite nervous. It was a great experience.

Discovering Scuba dive

Did the discover scuba diving with my son. We did two dives, in coral garden and USAT Liberty. Our divemaster, Pak Yogi was very knowledgeable and through. It was a very enjoyable dive. We highly recommend this place.

Excellent diving experience

Really enjoyed my first scuba diving experience- courtesy the team at Dive Concepts. Dee was helpful throughout the booking experience and Nico welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Our coach Jullien was patient throughout the instruction and training process and guided us safely with astuteness during the dive. The waves were turbulent on the day we booked our dive so we could not go for the usat shipwreck dive- but shore diving at tulamben was an enthralling experience in itself. All in all i would definitely recommend dive concepts to anyone looking for a scuba experience in Bali. P.S- Since tulamben is located towards the eastern side of bali, it will be a good idea to spend a few more hours sightseeing nearby as the area has some beautiful temples and sightseeing options- which one can miss out on if they only cover southern end of bali.

Great dive at a good price 10/10

First time diving and I had a great experience, I asked around locally and this was the best value by far. My instructor Jullien was awesome, explained everything very well. Good quality gear all around, at least from my perspective as a newbie, wetsuits seemed new and clean etc. I booked in for the open water cert because these guys clearly know what they’re doing!

Best place for your first dive experience

My wife and I went here for Discover Scuba Day Trip which is for newbies like us who have never tried Scuba before. Our pick up was bang on with Andika being on time and very cooperative. Nico and Dee at the front desk are chill and answered all our queries in mail as well as in person to ensure we feel comfortable before our first dive. Special mention to Budi our dive instructor who was very patient with us, gave precise instructions and made sure diving was fun for us keeping our safety as a priority. Just the right place and people for Scuba Diving.

Best experience in Bali!!!

We did discover scuba diving with Dive Concepts and we couldn’t have asked for a better instructor then Budi!!! He was very helpful with everything and helped me overcome some fears with diving! The dive itself was really amazing and we loved every minute of it!! Definitely a highlight of our trip! Would highly recommend to do this even you don’t have any experience! Thanks a lot Budi!!

Woahwoahwoah!

I had never went scuba diving before and my first experience, with Budi as an instructor, was absolutely amazing. Definitely in the top 5 experiences of my life. It can be quite scary, which is why it is important to have a good instructor who has the situation under control. I felt very safe the whole time and am extremely thankful to Budi for this experience. The shipwreck is so beautiful and the diversity of corals and fishes is breathtaking. 100% recommend!

Recommend for new divers

I came here to do a DSD and had a great experience with Yogi. He was patient, explained every step very well and reacted with calmness whenever I was overwhelmed. We first discussed the equipment and basic skills on the shore before testing a few skills (regulator, mask and buoyance) in the shallow waters. We then transitioned to the nearby Liberty wreck, which was stunning. I loved the location and thank Yogi for the great experience!

I did my first diving ever in my life with Dive Concepts and it was a super wonderful experience. The instructor, Yogi, was very patient and knowledgeable. I felt very safe and fully enjoy diving despite I had nearly zero knowledge about diving at the time. My boyfriend did the fun dive with Komang and he enjoyed it as much! Definitely worth it!

Great diving experience with Yogi

I did a 1 day trip for Scuba Diving. The teacher Yogi was amazing, he explained the technics very well in the briefing and within the sea. With his guidance, I quickly felt comfortable diving. There were plenty of gorgeous fishes. Their Driver Heri who took me from Ubud to Tulamben is very friendly which made the 2 hours drive trip fun. I highly recommend "Dive Concepts".

Safe and Fun Centre

Did 3 dives in Tulamban including liberty wreck in summer 2019. Great experience. Really enjoyed my dives and even saw blactio sharks.

Diving with Kevin

The first time I dived, my instructor was Kevin, he was wonderful, very balanced and patient, even though I fell in panic. Helped me get over it and believe that I can do it. If you dive for the first time or are afraid to dive, then Kevin will definitely help. It was a wonderful experience and will definitely come back here.

Amazing First Time Dive

We were late for our schedule yet they accommodated us. We had two instructors (I forgot the names but one was Kevin), both were great. This was our first time to try scuba diving and they taught us the basics, and made it easier for us to get underwater. While at the shipwreck, my instructor showed us the fishes that we don't usually see. We saw a giant green parrot fish which made the experience extra awesome!! All in all it was a fun dive for a first timer and I will definitely do it again. 😊
