This is such a wonderful way to learn about and explore the Saguaro National Park. We loved it! We saw wildlife like road runners and a desert tortoise. And we learned so much about the biodiversity of this part of the world. The cacti are unreal. It’s like you step onto a different planet.

Start To Finish; A Home Run!

We had never been on an e-bike before, and this was a GREAT tour! From patient and thorough instruction, to a scenic and safe tour, we loved it. Our guide was knowledgable, and the trip he set up spectacular. It was so fun, we're thinking of getting our own e-bikes.

The Only Way to See the Desert!

A one of a kind experience! James was a great host and guide. Very knowledgeable and patient with four newbies who had never been on an E Bike! In my view, this is the ONLY way to see the desert. Picture yourself zooming through nature with the wind in your face on a cool morning! You don’t just see the desert, you experience it! Do this tour!

Fantastic day enjoying Saguaro National Park

One of the best bike tours that we have EVER done! James is an amazing guide, and he is SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! The views and overall experience were OUTSTANDING!!! We appreciate James taking such great care of every detail; The bikes were very user friendly and safe to operate. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience an amazing bike ride through the Sonoran desert!

Highly Recommend

We had so much fun on this tour. Carol was great! The bikes were a blast. I was worried about my 73 year-old father, but I think he liked it better than the rest of us.

Things happen.

We were super disappointed. I booked the bike tour when doing the planning for my husband’s 65th Birthday and we were so looking forward to it. James left me a voicemail early the morning scheduled to inquire where we were and we were late. The seasonal hours changed at some point to 7:30am and our tour was scheduled for 10am and were not informed. We were so disappointed when James informed us of what happened. Just one of those things and not really anyone’s fault. James was kind, refunded our money and provided us with 2 hours of e-bike time at no cost. Next time we are back to visit Tucson, we will try again to take the tour.

Enjoyable Experience

Great ride through the park. Electric bike made it easy to go up the hills and our guide was knowledgeable of the plant life.

Best e-bike tour ever!

There were four of us ladies (age 60 to 67) and we did the half day Saguaro National Park East tour. Our guide, John, was EXCELLENT. He was patient, kind, encouraging (varying abilities) and very informative on the area's history and nature. The bikes were a blast, and John certainly made the whole thing more fun. Although we would have liked the option to purchase a gel seat, we all give this experience a full 10!

100% Recommend!

This was my first time on an e-bike, and it was so much fun! Carol was an excellent guide. She ensured we were all comfortable with our bikes and shared so many amazing facts about the park. We had beautiful weather, and this was a great way to spend the morning.

We had a great time

Carol was a great guide and very friendly and knowledgeable. A real professional. We’d love to do another ride with her. One negative observation… Pedago recommended the food at Saguaro Corners but it’s not very good. The staff is friendly and efficient but the food is below average.

Enjoyable NP outing

The guide Chris was excellent. The ride itself was easy but would have been difficult for me without an e-bike. Learning about the park was the best part. My wife had to cancel at the last minute because of illness. We would have appreciated a refund or Viator credit for her ride.

We had such a great day touring Saguaro National Park with our guide Chris. From the great information he shared to the beautiful views we had this tour was so much fun! We would highly recommend this tour and would love to do it again next trip.

Enjoyable introduction to the park

A great way to explore the park. Carol was knowledgeable and offered us several different options for trails as we toured the park. The e bikes were easy to learn to use and made physical effort to pedal an option. All right of us enjoyed this two hour tour.

E-biking through the Saguaro National Park: The Only Way to Go!

My family and I had visited the Saguaro National Park 5 years prior and we had some fond memories of hiking through there. When we learned that it was possible to experience the park on a e-bike, we knew we had to sign up for that! We’ve been on e-bikes before, but these ones were a bit different than the ones we are used to. The bikes used on the tour are Class II e-bikes, which have a throttle and a bit more power to them. Chris, our tour guide was very friendly and informative of both local wildlife and e-bike safety. Because of this, the trip was very enjoyable and everyone in my family felt safe and well-informed.

Chris did a superb job! He was funny, entertaining, and very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride through Saguaro.

Loved it - Saguaro National Park

We loved the EBike tour experience. It was one of if not the best part of our week long visit to Tucson. Kudos to our guide extraordinaire Chris.

Great Day for an E-bike ride!

This was our first time on an E-bike. We had good instructions before taking off. Our leader, Chris, was knowledgeable, friendly and funny! The Saguaro Natl Park was amazing, beautiful in every direction! We learned a lot and had a great time on this amazingly beautiful day!!

Been a long long time.

Being able to ride a bike again though it took about a third of the trip to be fully comfortable which is quicker than I imagined. The frequent stops at the lookout point were not only informative but went a long way to helping to get comfortable with the control issues.

Chris is absolutely tops - his stories and animated explanation are knowledgeable, interesting and fun. The tour is perfectly paced. Bikes very comfortable. Loved it.

Good, not Great.

Nice ride through the East park (Saguaro National Park - East). The e-bikes were mediocre at best. The first one I chose had a low battery, so I had to change to a different one. This bike worked, but had no suspension and made a strange grinding/vibrating noise while in PAS mode at a specific speed. The tour description claims that these are the best e-bikes available, but to me they were typical rentals - worn & tired. I'm not sure if the odometers are accurate, but the bikes sure looked like they had a lot more miles on them than the odo's indicated. The West Park seems much prettier, but there is no e-bike rental option in that park. The guide (Chris) seemed to know a lot about the area, and enjoyed his job. However, he was quite cocky with a sarcastic sense of humor and also chastised one group for arriving only 10 mins before the start time. Overall, the tour was enjoyable and informative, but IMO it is overpriced.

Highly recommend!!

The E-Bikes were extremely fun for our entire family! Can’t imagine visiting the park without a knowledgeable guide like Carol. Highly recommend!

My husband and I had an amazing experience on the E-bike tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the flora/fauna of the area and history, and he overall made the whole experience fantastic. He also gave us great recommendations on places to go in the area. The bike itself was fantastic and I would definitely rent/buy one in the future. I already recommended the tour to my parents who live in the area but would definitely still find this valuable.

Great views and information about the desert plants and wildlife.

The temperature was great for a ride through the Saguaro National Park on e-bikes. Through no fault of the guide, we had to wait 30 mins past our begin time because the other family went to the office, not the meeting place. Therefore, our end time was later than expected and we missed dinner with friends. The guide was knowledgeable about the desert. Not sure why Chris went way ahead of the group and then waited at the next stop for everyone to catch up.

Bikes are bargain basement terrible Guide has snarky attitude Goal was to race from stop to stop at 16 miles per hour even if meant passing cars enjoying the scenery No chance to do that on this tour Not a bike ride--more of a scooter ride as we're encouraged to use throttle If you want to see the park suggest you find s different tour

Great way to see the park! Guide was amazing!

Great experience. I would recommend getting there early so you get the pick of the best bikes for your size and height. You will also have a chance to practice the bike in th e parking lot which is nice. Once you get use to the e-bike it is amazing!! You are just crushing with the wind in your hair!!

Had fun

Great guide, very informative with plenty of stops. Just a bit too pricey though. The Ebikes are easy to learn if you've never ridden before. Be aware that you are allowed to ride in front of cars on the road because they're allowed to only go 5mph most of the way; I was used to moving over by instinct and almost fell off my bike trying to watch where I was going, the cars behind me, and control the bike at the same time.

Way more fun than I thought. Chris did a great job with bike orientation/operation. We learned much from Chris about the saguaro national park, history, plants, etc… Would definitely recommend it.
