Highly recommend Mauritius Airport Transfers

We Travelled to Mauritius on the 14th of December 2023 and returned back to Johannesburg on the 24th of December 2023. We used Mauritius Airport Transfers, and the experience was amazing, they were on time for both trips. The car was clean. I Highly recommend Charles as they were very efficient.

Reliable

After being delayed 3 days by the «  best » French airline and no show for our luggage still sitting in Paris, the airline refused to bring us the luggage. Our taxi retrieved them later on and brought them to us. I wish they could have given us an invoice for the cost.

Best Taxi on the Island

I stayed at the JW Marriott and used this taxi service for all my trips and excursions across the island. Charles is great to deal with and is very responsive. His drivers are also incredible. The island is very safe but Charles and his r drivers ensure the safety of their clients. The hotel was going to charge me 2800 MUR / 60 USD each way to/from the airport. I used Mauritius Taxi Transfer (+230 5839 5223) and they charged me $40 each way to/from the airport. I would recommend booking through the taxi company who is VERY responsive via text.

Nice and easy and reasonable cost

Charles, contacted me within an hour of emailing him. Booking our airport transfer with him was so easy and we used him for our return as well. Our hotel was €25 more expensive so the cost was so reasonable and they are happy to take euros or Mauritian Rupees. Both drivers were punctual and so polite and told us a bit about the island and pointed things out to us. Charles also offers excursions but unfortunately someone in our group had already booked our day out. When we go back we will definitely use Charles for transfers and any trips we want to take.

Good but not enough for luggage.

Service was good and driver slowed us to choose songs. The car could not accommodate all the luggage we had - we couldn’t reach them Before hand to ensure they arrived with a large enough SUV. For context, we were 3 with 2 suitcases each which took up a lot of space (we were in transit)

We booked Mauritius Taxi Transfer after reading all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor and highly recommend. Communication prior to booking was prompt - there were two price options (based on type of vehicle) and options to pay in both MUR or EUR. We were met at the airport; the vehicle was very clean & comfortable which made the transfer to the hotel (about 45mins) very easy. Booked them again for our return trip to the airport and on both occasions found the driver extremely friendly & informative about the island (& football 😂)! Thank you very much. Hopefully we will visit & see you again!

Great service from our hotel to the airport. Abdul was a very good driver, he was friendly and we had a really good conversation. And when my fiancée needed the loo he was able to quickly pull over to a safe place. Would use again.

Punctual and friendly

We used this company for two airport transfers and one move between hotels on opposite sides of the island. The cars were clean and well-maintained. Drivers friendly and punctual. Prices very reasonable given the amount of time it takes to get around once you are off the main highways.

Exceptional Service

I rarely write reviews but my experience dealing with this company was exceptional. We recently spent three weeks in Mauritius and used them a number of times to get to / from the airport on arrival and departure and then to drive us around to various destinations. The drivers are professional, their communication is brilliant, keeping you up to date with arrival times and the cars are a high spec. We normally rely on hotel transfers but this was as good and much more competitively priced so I would highly recommend speaking to them if you are visiting Mauritus. Even after we got back to the UK Charles and the team went above and beyond to reunite me with some lost luggage. I was so grateful!

Fantastic service

We used the taxi service for our airport transfers to and from our hotel. We also used a taxi for a full day tour of the south island and transfers to and from a catamaran trip. Our experience was fantastic. All our drivers were punctual and professional and provided us with some interesting information on life in Mauritius. Arrived in Mauritius and our lovely taxi driver Belloon was waiting with a board with my name on in arrivals and he took us to our hotel in the north of the island quickly and efficiently and told us a few interesting facts about the island on the way too as it was our first time to this beautiful place. Great Service

A chance encounter in Port Louis led us to Imran Vavra and through him we travelled seamlessly all over the island for few days in one of the most memorable Taxi Service .Imran is well versead in four spoken languages English ,French , Hindi /Urdu . Italian and Creole ( Mauritian ). With a smaile on him and in depth knowledge of the country being a driver there for thirty years he took us to some of the most enchanting spts beside tourist destinations and food joints . Highly recommended for reasonabble pricing and honesty ...a fantastic and reasonably priced excursions in his seven seater Toyota Platina .

responsible driver, nice vehicle

We were very satisfied with the driver (he was driving very carefully and also gave us some information about Mauritius) as well as the car itself. We had booked the SUV as we've had a lot of luggage and it was so spacious that we could have taken at least 6-7 suitcases so it's also suitable for families. Concerning the price they seem to be the only company that is not trying to rip off their customers. Very reasonable pricing (also for the tours).

A verry good experience

We have used MTT 4 times including a day trip to the mountains and waterfalls in the south. We have only verry good experiences with them , new vehicles , verry competent and friendly drivers. It couldnt’be better. I wouldt higly recommend MTT and Charles to any one for your next stay in Maurice.

Fantastic Transport Service in Mauritius

During a recent holiday to Mauritius I used this company for both airport transfers and tours. I cannot recommend them highly enough. The communication with Charles was brilliant, mostly by WhatsApp. The prices charged are very competitive and always clear up front. You get far better value when booking direct with them rather than through the hotels. We were extremely lucky to have the same driver, Vikash, for the South East and North Tour. He was really friendly and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed being driven around the island. The car was immaculate and his driving extremely safe. Thank you to Charles and the team. Effortless

We originally came across Mauritius Taxi Transfers online and made an enquiry for a return trip from the airport to the our hotel. Prices were very competitive compared to coach transfers, not forgetting you can get there and back to the hotel and airport quicker. Charles was main point of contact and kept in contact via WhatsApp, which for us worked perfectly. They tracked our flight to ensure we were greeted at the arrival gate and whisked off to our hotel. During our stay at the hotel we were contacted about excursions the company also offered. Although we didn’t take up of these excursion offers, again they looked competitive. Our trip back to the airport was effortless, the driver was actually there 15 mins before, which wasn’t an issue as we were ready. The drivers we had (didn’t catch their names) were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the island which was great to hear! The cars were nice and clean, air con and great music! Both drivers wore masks as per required in Mauritius at the minute as did me and my wife! Thanks for making our trip extremely effortless! We were in Mauritius for 3 weeks and used the great service of Mauritius Taxi four times. At the airport I was shown a clear large printed sign with my name on it, which made everyone seem reputable straight away. The transfer to the Long Beach Hotel Resort was very pleasant with the SUV. A good driver kept us informed at all times about the special features of the area along the route. We really liked that. Then we booked two day trips directly with MT with a German guide. Everything was organized very cheaply and reliably. We ended up booking the return flight transfer with MT, which was at 5am. The driver was extremely punctual on site and reliably drove us back to the airport. Thank you again! Would do the same thing over and over again! Best regards

Our airport transfers were on time. The driver was friendly, professional and gave us an excellent welcome to Mauritius. Efficient and fair priced taxi service

We used Mauritius taxi transfer throughout our 10 day stay in Mauritius. The cars were clean and comfortable, the drivers ( Abdul and kevin)were friendly and informative and most importantly very punctual. Charles as the owner/ manager was always available non whatsapp and very responsive. The prices were competitive and fair. But what took the service to an exceptional rating was the presence of baby car seat. For once there was a taxi company that actually listened to the request and followed through and oh boy...with a choice of 3 car seats on the 1st day so I could pick one based on the size of my 9month old baby. Everything was perfect, very good communication very fast reply. Very good price to do the hotel transfer comapred to what you can get using the Hotel services. We also used thei services to do a roadtrip on the island, the price and the qaulity of the service is excellent also. The Whathapps customer line is very reliable to communicate and book. Trajet aéroport/la pointe aux cannoniers

Trajet aéroport / hôtel AR. Tout était parfait. Hyundai pour 5 adultes et grosses valises bien calibrés. Bouteille d eau offerte. Abdul conduit bien, nous fait profiter de sa connaissance de l’île tout au long du trajet. Extrêmement gentil et efficace, je recommande.

Perfekter Einstieg in den Urlaub

Nach einem langen Flug wurden wir freundlich am Flughafen empfangen. Der Fahrer war zuvorkommend und hat unser Gepäck entgegengenommen. Auf dem Weg zum Hotel hat er unterwegs angehalten um uns etwas zu trinken zu kaufen. Er ist sehr sicher gefahren. Haben uns so wohlgefühlt, dass wir problemlos einschlafen und uns vom Flug erholen konnten. Nach unserem Urlaub wurden wir zur vereinbarten Uhrzeit abgeholt und wieder sicher am Flughafen abgesetzt. Das Auto war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Preis ist absolut fair. Akzeptiert auch €. Buchung vorab verlief unkompliziert. Ebenso vor Ort. Haben weitere Touren über den Anbieter gebucht. Diese sind ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Alle Fahrer sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
