Rafa, Andrew and their families were incredible. The tours were informative and we saw so much beautiful fauna and flora. The turtles were the top experience but the boat trip and the monkeys/birds/caiman, etc were also unforgettable. I became poorly due to blood pressure and dehydration and the staff was helpful, resourceful and so caring until I got professional medical attention. I totally recommend P&K. Wonderful discoveries

We did the night hike and kayaking, it was amazing to meet Tortuguero and look for animals by Pablo. He has a great cooking on animals and the area, his feline eye is trained to find everything in the dark. He also communicates with the frogs to make them appear, especially Emilia. It is a mistake in life not to tour with Pablo if you go to Tortuguero.

Excellent service

Excellent attention and service, they made us feel at home, they welcomed us upon our arrival and guided us through the different activities. We also did the hike on the Jaguar trail, super beautiful, and in the morning the canoe tour through the canals, which was a super nice experience, seeing many animals and getting into tiny canals. We traveled with 3 adults, 2 older adults and 2 little girls, and everything was adapted so that everyone was happy.

We did 2 activities: canoeing in the national park with Bonii and nighttime turtle watching with Rafa. Exceptional experience at their side, competent guides who do not rush the tourist and who take the time to show us what we came to Tortuguero for. The best trip of our lives

We chose the Enchu cabins to stay in Tortuguero and we couldn't have made a better choice. We hire all available Tours (turtle nesting, canoeing on the river, Cerro route and night route). As soon as we arrived at the cabins, Rafa, Jasmina, Pablo and Katy greeted us. They are very special and very wonderful people, we feel very very very welcomed. They took great care of us serving coffee in the mornings, they even gave us breakfast. The accommodation is very good, there is AC, private refrigerator, private shower, private bathroom, porch with hammocks and, best of all, the Enchu company. You will not get bored with them, they are people who will make you laugh, they will help you with absolutely everything you need, they will care about your well-being and they will take you to the best and most beautiful areas of Tortuguero. • On the first tour we took we went with Jasmina to see the turtles nesting. You should wear dark clothing and a red light at most, as you do not want to disturb the turtles. Before seeing them you have to wait for the moment to be able to go. We were with Jasmina at a base near the beach where she was telling us a lot of very interesting information about turtles. When the time was right we went onto the beach and were able to see the entire process thanks to the fact that there were 5 turtles there. Jasmina was informing us and answering questions at all times. • On the second tour we went with Pablo in a canoe along the river. We saw many different animals (10 alligators, monkeys of several different species, 2 and 3-toed sloths, very beautiful birds of several exotic species, several iguanas, beautiful butterflies...) of which, in each and every one we saw, Pablo told us curiosities about them as well as all the scientific names. In addition, he also knows a lot about the vegetation of the area. It was a very nice and very interesting tour. It lasted 3 hours. • On the third tour we went with Pablo to the Cerro viewpoint. Before going, he showed us San Francisco, a very humble and very natural town. The route leads to a viewpoint where you can see all of Tortuguero and San Francisco. We saw many animals along the way, including several monkeys, blue-jean frogs, some sloths, and bullet ants. The views from the viewpoint are beautiful, you can see many birds flying freely in the sky. • On the fourth tour we went with Pablo at night to the jungle in search of little green frogs and we saw a very large bullfrog, a lot of gold thread spiders, several iguanas and even a very curious opossum that stared at us. I recommend wearing long pants and closed shoes because of the ants. It was fun. Pablo was very attentive on all the tours and made sure to find all the possible species so that we could see them before ending the tour. For us they have not been simple guides, but have become a great friendship forever. The trip to Tortuguero would not have been as special at all without the presence of the Enchu family. Their hospitality and attention is appreciated from beginning to end of the trip and I highly recommend them. You will not find anyone like it in the entire Tortuguero area. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR TORTUGUERO: - Bring ALL possible colones in cash. Some businesses have POS but for greater convenience before going to Tortuguero you should change money to colones in cash. If you have a card, it is highly recommended that it be VISA. - Bring anti-mosquito repellent from the fort. I took Goibi Extreme and it went very well. - Bring sunscreen as sometimes you spend a lot of time in the sun. - Fresh clothes since there is A LOT of humidity there and it gets quite hot. You sweat a lot but it's worth it. - If you have a telescope and you take it with you, the experience will improve a lot. Pure Life dude.

7 years ago we visited Tortuguero!! Blissful day that we met Rafa and his family!! He was a wonderful guide, he made us feel like we were in paradise. A guide not like any other!! a family member who loves his work!! It was something very special that from that day united us to that place and that family!! Tortuguero Experience

Incredible experience in Tortuguero because of the place where we are, in an emblematic area of the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica with its great variety of flora and fauna, and of course because of the great welcome we had from our hosts and guides. the different tours, Rafa, Pablo, Jasmin and Katty, from Cabinas Enchu and PyR Tours.
