What a great day we had. Our guide was so accommodating to our needs. We had a wonderful day and had great views of Mt Fuji. The speedboat on Lake Kawaguchiko was the highlight as we're the delicious ice creams.

Our family recently had a terrific, fully customizable two-day tour of the Mt. Fuji and Hakone area. Our guide, Maddie, went above and beyond to make our wish list possible. He expertly navigated the crowds and offered ideas we hadn't considered, like a speed boat trip for picturesque views of Mt. Fuji. Maddy also has a good eye for photography, which was a wonderful bonus for capturing priceless moments. We are grateful to have him as our guide for both days. Highly recommended. A+

Only tour company you need in Japan

Great outing, our driver was very nice and spoke great english. It was a cluody day. Didn't get much if a view of mount fugi, but still a beautiful place

Worth the extra $$

Beautiful scenery, including Mt Fuji. Spectacular views of the mountains, lakes and several other attractions. We were able to move at our own pace, avoid the crowds and customize aspects of our trip due to the private booking. Plus, transportation was door to door and eliminated stress and headaches. Well worth the extra money. Zaedon our guide was educated and funny and spoke excellent English.

Great Day Tour of Mt Fuji

From the pick up time at our hotel until drop off at the end of the tour at our hotel this was a good experience. The driver was very professional and knowledgeable of all the places and sites we visited. He knew the best places to visit and to view Mt. Fuji for great photo opportunities. We really enjoyed this experience and would do it again.

Mt Fuji was amazing and would recommend the trip but unfortunately our driver/guide really only functioned as a driver. He offered absolutely no information about the sites background history etc.

We had a wonderful experience with Zaedeen. He is so knowledgeable and accommodating. This tour is worth every penny and I would strongly recommend taking this tour.

Great day at Yamanashi

Great day with Azu tours. Our driver Sakib was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He had good knowledge about the heritage sites and road conditions. We stopped at service stops on the highway so we were comfortable all the way. The van was clean comfortable with leg rest.

Look at alternatives to this private tour

We specifically booked this tour to be able to see all that was listed as included in the tour, however this was not our experience. From the start we were under the impression the tour would pick you up from your hotel, not the case. So after travelling to the meeting point the driver then was late as he too seemed confused regarding the location. The weather was awesome which meant we got to the 5th station. However after having lunch at Lake Kawaguchi, followed by a stroll in Oshino Park, we got to view the Chureito Pagoda. However due to the traffic our driver then said we needed to head back into Tokyo and if we wanted to see anything else that would be overtime and chargeable (so no Oshino Hakkai or Gotemba Outlets). Then after 9 hours we were returned home (despite tour stating approx. 10 hours). We have done many a tour in the past, where guides/tours have made sure you got to see everything that was included in the itinerary. For this price point this has to be one of the most disappointing tours we have experienced. I suggest anyone looking at this tour, think twice, it just isn’t worth it!

Our guide was very accommodating and an excellent driver. He worked diligently to show us as much as possible in our day with him. We had a group of 5 and our guide was very patient with all our needs. We had a wonderful day!

Worst Tour Experience of My Lifetime!!!

We booked a tour for Mount Fuji in Japan for my family and parents. We are avid and experienced travelers. This was single-handedly the worst tour experience I have ever encountered. The communication with the local tour company was non-existent. I tried for several days to reach the tour group to confirm and discuss/curate the trip but no one picked up the phone and there was no voicemail. There was also no email contact information. The driver contacted me 30 minutes before the start time and told me not to be late at the pick up location: The quality of the van was poor and very uncomfortable. When the driver arrived and I wanted to discuss the trip, he showed no interest. He simply wanted to get moving on the trip. I Informed him that we were trying to meet relatives at a location and he simply said drop me the link but he didn’t even look at it. He provided no information on anything about the trip. He was not a tour guide but simply just a driver. In fact, he had only been in the Japan for a few years and had no knowledge about Japan or the area., and Mount Fuji. When we arrived at our first destination, I told him that we were suppose to meet relatives at a set location. He finally looked at the location and said it was an hour away. When I became upset with the poor communication and poor quality of the tour operator, he blamed the local company and then blamed me. He took absolutely no responsibility for the poor communication. I will never use Viator again and would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They do not properly vet the local tour companies. Beware, and stay away!!!

Great day around mt Fuji

We had a great time around mt Fuji. The day was cloudless so we could see mt Fuji in all its majestic. Shah was really nice and arrived at our hotel 10mins earlier. He accompanied us or waited for us to make our experience pleasant. The car was spacious, confortable and clean. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to know different spots of mt Fuji in one day.

The driver was very knowledgeable and polite. He really helped with our understanding of the area. He allowed us to travel at our pace and still suggested wonderful things to do. It was a very memorable trip.

It was a cloudy day but our guide Sakib was excellent. He checked live cameras and took us to places where Mt Fuji was visible. Highly recommend this trip and the guide.

Great Tour to witness Mt. Fuji

We had a great trip in a clear sunny day. The driver was good. we explored Oshino Hakkai, Lake Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park, Mt. Fuji 5th Station, Arakurayama Sengen Park, Kitaguchi Hongu Sengen Shrine. For everywhere, we were lucky to see amazing view of Fujisan.

My experience with Zaeden as our tour guide to Mt. Fuji and its surrounding areas was absolutely phenomenal. Great experience with driver Mulky

We had a wonderful driver called Mulky. Despite the lashing rain - he took us to some wonderful spots that weren’t in itinerary but were better to see on a rainy day. He was polite and professional and very knowledgeable about the area. In the afternoon the clouds cleared up and we saw Mount Fuji. Very happy we booked this trip and Mulky was excellent.

OK but not 5th Station.

Driver and customer relationship and working situations out was great. He was accommodating to our needs for this trip. We got to see all we wanted except for the 5th Station as it was closed. We understand that during winter and early spring it is always closed because of weather. This should be topic should be told to customers ahead of their visit. This is the second tour we have taken and we could not go to 5th station.

A day with Fujisan

Very relaxing day with Ahmad. The clouds were not cooperative at Mt Fuji but we did get a glimpse. Full day of activities at our own speed. A must excursion if you visit Japan.

Fuji with Zaeden

Zaeden was an exceptional tour guide. Very accommodating and provided fantastic suggestions on which options of the itinerary to select.

Cherry blossoms and Mt Fuji.

We were at mt Fuji during Sakura season and it was very crowded. Rafat did an excellent job of finding great views of the mountain avoiding as many crowds as possible. He found us an excellent spot for lunch near a Shinto shrine that had fantastic food. Thank you Rafat for helping us to capture beautiful pictures of Mt Fuji.

Totally worth the money!

It was a tour that exceeded our expectations! We booked a private tour for me and my husband. The guide (Ali) was on time, and the car was clean and comfortable. Locations we visited were super impressive. It was a great way to get out of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo for a day. Ali made all the difference. He was so kind and respectful. Took us to each place and gave us plenty of time to explore without rushing us. He was a great photographer too and made sure we got plenty of shots at each spot. To top it all off, we had left a pair of sunglasses in the car and he was kind enough to bring it back the next morning. That’s doing above and beyond. Ali and his partner were amazing and made it a memorable experience for us.

Great drive through the country and Mt. Fuji.

This tour was a great way to be taken to several destinations but was quite light on details. As long as you have researched the areas and destinations history yourselves than this is a great way to be taken around the area. This was not the fault of the tour operators but we did end up stuck in traffic for an extra 90 minutes, but the van was comfortable and clean and the guides accommodating as much as they could be.

My family and I had a great trip with our guide Mulkey. He did a wonderful job in suggesting the places to go. Restaurant, and the speed boat were highlights. He really knew his way around and we got to see everything and more. Thank you!

Our guide Zaeden was very personable and knowledgeable. The weather in the morning was not so good and he took us to the places where we could not see the mountain and saved the major sites for the afternoon when the weather improved. He was a great guide!

Highly Recommend

Our private tour was with Mulky , an exceptional tour guide who was very professional and accommodating. Mulky was extremely knowledgeable, and made the tour fun, enjoyable and interesting, even for a 12-year-old. The pickup was at the hotel and on time. The van was very clean and comfortable. There are no recommendations for making it better, the itinerary was full and inclusive.

A Perfect Day Trip

Ari was a great and patient guide. He let us explore at the stops. He worked to get us a view of Mt Fuji since the morning was so rainy and Fuji wasn't visible until later. The lunch recommendation was also delicious!

Shame on Viator, Trip Advisor and Azu International Tour

Don’t trust these guys. We booked the trip with them over 3 months ago. They emailed us 24 hours before the trip telling us due to cherry blossom season ( which happens every year) our trip from Tokyo could take up to 4 hours and although we said ok they emailed us 5 hours later and canceled due to the driver being sick. First cherry blossom happens every year so they should know how long it takes and second don’t you have another driver. This organization is managed by Viator who is owned by trip advisor so shame on all of you all for running so many trips and memories but guess what never again.

Must to do!!

Mulky was wonderful and very knowledgeable. I would recommend him. He was very adaptive of our plan and took us to all the places we wanted to go and he also recommended few places that were wonderful.

Bad smelling driver with a bad attitude. Pakistani man who complained about Japanese people most of the trip. Not exactly what you want on a Japanese tour.

Rainy but Fun!

We were fortunate to have Sheraz as our tour guide for our Mount Fuji excursion. Despite the rainy weather on the only day available for our tour, Sheraz proved to be accommodating and ensured we had a fantastic time. Despite the less than ideal conditions, we made the most of our experience. Sheraz expertly guided us to all the key destinations, providing insightful historical context along the way. Additionally, he recommended some delectable lunch spots and even assisted in communicating with my family of eight who were non-Japanese speakers. Overall, Sheraz's professionalism and hospitality greatly enhanced our Mount Fuji tour experience.

Phenominal Experience, memories of a Lifetime

Couldn't fault this trip at all. Zaeden our guide and the company went above and beyond to make a perfect experience for my partner and I. I proposed on the tour, and Zaeden not only was professional, discrete, informative and friendly, but organised the perfect time, altered the trip due to the weather, offered crucial and valuable insight and communicated and worked alongside me for days prior to organise the perfect proposal for my partner. He offered valuable insight into local dining, had a vast array of information on all locations, and went far beyond expectations to make a rainy and overcast day into a brilliant experience. The weather wasn't perfect, yet the company offered to change the date, and also altered pickup times to suit our preferences. Zaeden braved the terrible weather to take stunning photographs for us, was kind, considerate and informative, and made the trip a memorable, beautiful, and life changing experience. Thank you so much for the wonderful tour, and Ashlee and I will cherish the experience for a lifetime.

Mt. Fuji looked very picturesque. Though it ended up raining, our guide adjusted our itinerary to make the best of it.

Helpful guidance to some great photo spots

We saw some amazing views of Mt. Fuji. Ahmed was very polite and helpful. After struggling with public transportation for the first few days of our Japanese trip, having a guided tour that allowed us to see so many sites in a day was a huge relief. We may consider using this site to help plan more events.

A wonderful day to Mt. Fuji!

Great tour to the main sites around Mt. Fuji. Our driver Mulky was an excellent driver, very friendly and accommodated all our wishes during the day. We were traveling with a 2 year old and had to have some flexibility and change our agenda during the day. He also had some good proposals in terms of lunch restaurants and places to go that our daughter would enjoy. We had such a lovely day seeing everything we wanted, and more, around Mt. Fuji.
