Good driving tour

Great driver. Very flexible and accommodating. They had good tips to eat and stop. The tour is not really guided, you need to know the history at front of the places to visit or rely on what is offered at the sites

Don’t recommend.

The driver was polite but only greeted and didn’t speak to us until got to the first stop. It was too cloudy to go on rope way, which we could have discussed prior to arriving. He took us to one restaurant which doesn’t take card, only cash. We needed to know this prior to eating there. Also restaurant had one staff member serving and food took 45 mins out but the food was really good. The van smelled of cigarettes and driver spoke broken english. I’d opt for a tour next time.

Educational, lovely, unique

I enjoyed the Emperior’s summer house the most. Adeel did a good job of shaping the tour to our needs.

Awful experience to Nikko

The guide on the trip maybe spoke 4 words total the whole day, and he could speak English. I was really hoping for some History, or Japanese culture along the way. Totally overpriced and we paid for tickets to everything. I’m very disappointed

Lovely Nikko trip

Our Driver-cum-Guide, Aki brought us to see as many sights as possible. He was very patient especially with kids' time management. He also gave us good tips and leads even on sites which were were not part of the tour.

Most Enjoyable & Memorable Experience in Nikko with Family

Awesome service, driver/guide is very nice, super helpful, and extremely insightful. Family really enjoyed spending time in Nikko, especially the waterfalls and the lake. Overall, very pleasant experience, highly recommended for families with kids who want to enjoy Nikko to its fullest.

Excellent day tour to Nikko

Our driver/guide Ahmed was terrific. (We were delighted to have him again on another Ohayo Travel day tour at a later date.) He was thoroughly professional: prompt, polite, and a pleasure to be with. Ahmed's English was very good, and he provided lots of useful background about the culture, history, etc. He went out of his way to be accommodating to us. Not only did he take us to all the wonderful destinations in the itinerary, he even took us to another great spot that we hadn't expected. He also found us a fine place to enjoy local food for lunch. Some of the numerous highlights were Kegon Falls, Akechidaira Observation Area, and the Nikko Tosho-gu shrine. Overall, it was a memorable experience.

Beautiful tour with a very safe driver

We had a lovely time and felt very safe! We traveled on a Saturday and traffic was terrible but our drive kept a positive attitude and made sure that we didn’t miss anything. It was nice to have a day where we didn’t have to worry about coordinating transportation. Nikko is absolutely breathtaking!! Don’t miss it!

A Most Memorable Trip To Nikko With Our Guide, Ahmed!

It was a beautiful day for sightseeing in Nikko, and our guide Ahmed made sure that we got to see everything we were hoping for. The day was long and could have been much longer due to a major accident on the highway as we were returning to Tokyo that evening. Ahmed was able to find alternative routes and got us back to our hotel at the scheduled arrival time. Thanks again, Ahmed!

Great day, not rushed we had all the time we wanted at each site. Our driver was incredibly helpful and even made recommendations for other sites around Tokyo.

Very pleasant and awe inspiring experience. Very safe, accommodating and patient driver sharing tidbits of interesting facts. Nikko is not to be missed if you have the time.

Amazing peaceful experience in nature

The trip was an incredible experience with more activities along the way than I was expecting. Such amazing views and loved every minute of it! Having a private car made it much easier than public transport and my driver was fun to talk to with very good English as well. Overall highly recommend using this service and getting away from the chaos of Tokyo into the mountains for a day!

The highlight of the holiday

This tour was the best day of our trip! Nikko is a breathtaking place with beautiful nature and stunning temples. Our guide Ahmed was perfect and really made the day special. He was very polite, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. He knew where all the best spots where and made sure we got to see everything that Nikko has to offer including some hidden gems. We can’t recommend this guide and trip enough! A real highlight of any holiday and worth every penny. Thank you Ahmed :)

Fun day trip

Great day trip. Our guide Imran was super friendly. Nikko is full of nature and history, a lot to see and experience. Weather is much cooler compared to Tokyo, a nice place to visit during hot summer.

An Amazing Day in Nikko

Highly recommend this tour … even the rain didn’t dampen the experience. Imran was an awesome tour guide. He was professional and very knowledgeable and we were able to visit many places today. We started out at the ropeway observation deck, then did a cruise on Lake Chuzenji, visited the amazing Keon Falls, Nikko Tosho-gu, Shinkyo Bridge, Nikko Tamozawa Imperial Villa Memorial Park and the Abyss was a bonus.

Efficient Chauffeur to Nikko

We got to see everything we wanted to see in and around Nikko with a comfortable car and efficient driver! Danish was a man of few words but he was very nice, gave us the relevant information for each location, and was flexible when we asked for a long lunch stop. Definitely would recommend this driving service.

Door to Door to Nikko

The best way to see Nikko and Lake Chuzenji. Everything is so spread out that it would be a real pain trying to do it with public transportation. Our driver was really friendly and flexible as we changed our itinerary multiple times based on how the day progressed.

Great day trip

Great day trip from Tokyo. Our driver was very friendly, spoke perfect English, and was always easy to find after we finished each stop. The van was very clean too. Nikko is very spread out so to see the sites, this is a much better option than taking the train and subway when there. Nikko itself is beautiful and deserves its world heritage designation. Highly recommend.

Worth every penny

Had the most wonderful day during this tour. The driver was very accommodating and gave a lot of knowledge about each area we visited . Due to the fact that we made good timing he also showed us a bonus location. A little gem hidden away. No tourist at all. Thanks so much for the experience and worth every penny. Didn't have to wait around for others on pre booked bus tours, will book private tour again.

Fuji tour 5/25

Danesh was very helpful and got us to all the sites we wanted to see efficiently. Plus he took us to a very nice Ramen place where we were able to rather quickly and keep going.

Awesome tour

We had a great day. Our tour guide spoke perfect English. He was easy to reach through the WhatsApp before and during the tour. I lost where the car was parked at the temple. I was easily able to message our driver and he came to pick us up. I was traveling with my 2 parents in their 80’s. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, and on time. It was a great day.

Very nice

Lovely and convenient tour. Our guide Abdullah was excellent, his driving and navigation was superb and his knowledge of the area ensured we saw all the sights in Nikko which is a beautiful place.

Great Nikko trip from Tokyo

We had a wonderful trip with Ohayo travel. We spent relatively more time at the Tosho-gu shrine and other shrines in the area. In early November, the fall colors were amazing. We also saw Chuzenji lake and Shinkyo bridge. All in all, a great day trip from Tokyo, thanks in no small part to the knowledge as well as flexibility of the owner/guide. He was patient and accommodating, and we made his day far too long.

Wonderful day trip in Nikko

We booked a day trip in Nikko with Ohayo Travel and highly recommend it. It was really convenient to have a private car and we managed to see many sights as a result. The tour guide/ driver was polite and punctual, and gave us good suggestions at each spot to enhance our experience.
