1 Day Tour Mt Fuji,Lake Kawaguchiko with English Speaking Guide

Excellent experience.

We had a great experience. Our guide, Mr. Shah Irtaza was incredibly courteous, punctual and very knowledgeable. He knew all the shortcuts and optimized our route despite our constraints. My father-in-law is disabled and we had to accommodate his needs. He was also very accomodating with our photo requests. Our experience as a family greatly exceeded our expectations! I would highly recommend just sharing your points of interest with them and let them guide you on how to optimize your time. If I send any other family members or friends, I will highly recommend this tour operator to them.

Relaxed and comprehensive experience!

Shahjee was an amazing guide. He was prompt and the car ride was comfortable. He was personable, communicative and informative. He was intentional about talking with my young son and involved him in the tour stops. The tour was completely self directed and we didn’t feel rushed in any way. We saw beautiful sites, took lots of photos and tried delicious foods all while learning about Japanese history. I highly recommend this all day tour as it was an exceptional value!

It was just beautiful. The flowers were magnificent. Mount Fuji was in her glory!

Fun and relaxed way to visit Mt. Fuji

We had a great day trip to Mt Fuji with Shah Irtaza. He was a fantastic guide and great company. We exchanged stories and laughter through the day, visiting many beautiful spots and tasty lunch. Would recommend this day trip to any visitors looking for a flexible, dependable outing to enjoy the beauty Japan’s nature has to offer outside Tokyo city.

Great last minute day out to Mt Fuji!

Even with the cloudy weather, Sohail still knew the best spots to take us to catch glimpses of Mt. Fuji and great scenic spots by the lake of Kawaguchiko. We managed to book this the night before going and were picked up and dropped off from our Airbnb. Highly recommend!

Incredible Tour

Ali was an incredible tour guide. Very knowledgeable of Tokyo and surrounding areas. Was able to explain a lot about Japan and answer all our questions on the journey. Expert photographer and great with timing to make sure we got the perfect shots throughout the day

Wonderful trip to Mt Fuji!

The private day trip to Mt Fuji was excellent. We would consider it as the highlight of our trip. Mr. Ali who drove us around was very professional and helpful. He took us to the best view points and also made great suggestions for food and snacks. He explained us very well about the view points and the significance and history behind them. We got to excellent views of My Fuji throughout our drive in that area. Our kid also be came very comfortable and friendly with him. He also took great pictures. Overall a very comfortable and lovely trip. Would highly recommend!

Once in a lifetime experience

What an incredible experience! Our tour guide Shah was such a personable and informative guide. His recommendations on places to visit ensured we got to try a bit of everything including a short hike on Ochuda trail that we were really looking forward to. We visited lovely villages and shrines, Lake Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park, and Mt. Fuji 5th Station. Lunch at the lake was delicious as was the ice cream we had at the park afterward while soaking in views of Mt. Fuji. Overall, we feel blessed to have had this experience and we highly recommend it.

Once in a lifetime experience

Our trip to Mt. Fuji was an incredible experience start to finish. Shahjee was such a friendly and informative guide and his recommendations on sites to visit was spot on. We were able to experience the mountain at its finest during a short hike on the Ochuda trail. The shrines, parks, and lakes we visited all offered incredible views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding areas. Lunch at Lake Kawaguchiko was delicious followed by yummy ice cream at Oishi Park to wrap up our journey. We were so blessed to enjoy this opportunity and we highly recommend Shah to others looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent service & great for family & group.

We happened to be in Japan during Golden Week and wanted to see Shibazakura festival. We booked at 1 am and so grateful there is a slot available same day (at 8 am). We were tossing between taking the highway bus or private tour but glad we took the tour. As a group of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids) the cost was very competitive & affordable. We really had a good time. Faisal the driver was prompt & polite, and was professional too around kids. Will definitely use again next time we visit Japan.

Amazing day around Mt. Fuji

Had an amazing tour at Mt. Fuji! Our guides name was Ali and he went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was so helpful with all the sites we wanted to see and flexible with changing different parts of the tour to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Cannot say enough great things! Also, he was a GREAT photographer and we got the most amazing pictures with the Mt. Fuji views. Do not hesitate to book this tour and try to get Ali as a guide! 10/10!!!

My Fuji in the rain

Unfortunately we had bad weather so couldn’t see Mount Fuji but the driver/photographer/ guide Ali done his best to make the most of the day. Shrines, villages and flowers with an imaginary Mt Fuji was still a great day….

A complete waste of Money, with a huge feeling of disappointment

First, the English speaking tour guide didn't speak English. His first words were "MT Fuji Closed". There was no plan B. We drove 4 hours on Motorway in the rain and reached Mt Hakone Cable Car. We could not see beyond the bonnet of the car for fog and rain. We then turned around and drove straight back to our hotel. 6 hours of motorway driving and we saw nothing. This cost us $722.00. Viator you should be ashamed! We asked the driver to stop at one of the little villages on the way home. He didn't. We were supposed to visit 4 other attractions and didn't go to one of them. The weather was not his fault, but at that price you need to have somewhere else to take us. A stop for a nice lunch somewhere would have been great. This is the worst tour we have ever done in terms of it coming nowhere near what it advertised. This was a private tour for 2 people.

Driver had no clue on what to do

Driver did not speak English or Japanese. We are in Japan. He spoke Urdu. He didn't know where he was driving to. He would get lost and get stuck in traffic. He didn't understand his navigator. He was constantly looking at his navigation while tailgating at fast and slow speed.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji

We were in Japan for a short 6 day trip. Forecast was rain everyday except Saturday so we took a chance and booked a private tour to venture outside of Tokyo to see Mt Fuji. Our tour guide Fahad was great! He asked us what we wanted to see/do and then he recommended an itinerary. In addition to Mt Fuji, we wanted to make a stop at Gotemba Outlet Mall. Fahad recommended Hakone, Outlet Mall, Oshino Hakkai Village, and Lake Kawakuchiko. Great choice! We were so fortunate that we had a clear view of Mt Fuji from Oshino Hakkai Village. Fahad knew exactly where to get the best photos. He was also very knowledgeable of the areas we visited and explained the history. We did a short stop at Gotemba Outlets; however, if you are a hard core shopper, recommend you consider a half day tour just for the outlet mall; it’s huge. We would definitely recommend this private tour to anyone that has limited time, but wants to see the highlights of Japan.
