This was awesome not like any other activity I’ve been on visiting another country would definitely recommend this tour 10/10 all the way through

Great day of adventure

All activities awesome and great guides. Only complaint is the horses part..it was just us following the long line of horses on a bumpy road, nothing interesting.

Great excursion, but you tube down rapids

While this tour did end up being amazing, the tubing is NOT for kids. You are riding full on rapids down the river. Several adults were thrown from the tubes, there is hardly any calm parts where you are just floating. The company has several workers in the river in various spots to help you through the worst parts. But again, as grown. adults, this tubing was pretty intense. There is no way I would take any of my kids under 15 on this particular option. The zip lines were awesome, the horse back riding was a little slow, and the mud bath and hot springs were great. The buffet lunch was meh. I recommend driving yourself if you are able as there are a lot of stops along the way to pick up others in your group. Bring shows you can wear to get wet and walk/hike in. The resort has towels you can use. I would also bring a few snacks. It ended up being a really long day.

So much fun

One the highlights of our trip! We were SO well taken care of and they fit in so many parts to the day! There were almost as many workers around as attendees so you always felt well taken care of and each aspect was so well done. Could not recommend more.

Amazing must do - highly recommend!

Kevin was awesome! He was our main guide. Also the zip lining was unlike anything I have ever seen, going through the canyon- so beautiful! The tubing was so fun! The guides were all so helpful! I cannot say enough good things!

This was an excellent tour! Beautiful zip lines, very friendly crew and the river tubing was awesome! So much fun and highly recommend! Our group ranged from 10 years old to 65 years old and everyone had a fantastic time!

A very busy, but very fun...

A very busy, but very fun day. Our guide, Kevin Piña, was organized and told us exactly what we needed. Ziplining was beautiful. Horseback riding was fun, and the tubing was intense (as there had been a lot of rain, but amazing. Hot springs were a great finish for the day

Great way to pack a lot into a day

Super efficient way to get all the adventures packed into a day! Great tour and highly recommended. I could not believe how impressive the guys who managed the tubing expedition were!

Picturesque adventure

The location of the tour was very beautiful. I’ve been ziplining a couple of times previously in Costa Rica as well as to mud baths but this was the most picturesque location I’ve been to. It also wasn’t as far as I had expected which was nice. The horse back riding was nice but a little nerve racking as some of the horses would kick if your horse got too close to them. The ziplining over waterfalls was incredibly beautiful, but because it was busy some of the guys at the platforms rushed us even if you were nervous. I was disappointed that our tubing got cancelled (due to rain from the day before) as it was the only thing I haven’t done before. They also only refunded us $10 each which I feel wasn’t enough to compensate as it will cost much more than that to go back and do it some time in the future. The excursion itself was $200. Overall, I would recommend but I think they should give back more money when one of the activities are cancelled.

Awesome LONG Day!

We had an excellent full day adventure on December 22nd 2024 led by our tour operator Ivan! We started with ziplining which was really unique as we traversed in and out of the canyon around waterfalls and rushing water. The zips aren't as long as in Arenal but it was super fun (including a cool tarzan swing). Then we did horseback riding which wasn't my favorite thing but still glad we got to knock it off our list ... no fault of the operators, just not my cup of tea. After that we did river tubing which as many previous reviewers have stated is not for the faint of heart! The rapids are real and I got knocked off my tube twice, but don't let that discourage you from going! It was so much fun and they had 14 guides strategically positioned everywhere in front of you to help if you got stuck or fell ... my 40+ year old self never felt unsafe even though it was intense at times. Then we had a solid buffet lunch at the lodge and finished with the hot springs and mud, which was a nice way to end a strenuous day! The drive was a bit long (2 hours from Tamarindo) but there's nothing Native's Way could have done to make it faster :) Just a reminder for anyone considering this that you probably will have a 12 hour day including all the driving, so it's a LOT. Ours went from 6:30am pickup to 7pm dropoff at the Tamarindo Diria.

Lots of fun

Had a great time. No complaints, buffet was tastey. Driver and hostess were awesome. We would definitely recommend.

River Tubing

River Tubing was a blast. One of our favourites. Would recommend it to anyone. Overall well planned and fun day

Ok but, not great.

We have ziplined in several different countries and this wasn't one of the better ones. The ziplines aren't very long and the staff doesn't have a "fun/friendly" vibe. We were picked up at 6:15a. Be prepared for a long bus ride to the facility. It takes about 2 hours. The bus was fairly comfortable and our tour guide was informative. Upon arrival, we were set up to do zip lining, horseback riding, river tubing, lunch and then the volcanic hot pools/mud. The group totaled about 35 people. Due to the size of the group, it takes a lot of time for each activity to be "set up". They give you instruction at the beginning of each activity and then "rush" you through to get to the next one. The horse back riding was ok. The horses are definitely over worked. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR THE NAME OF YOUR HORSE! You will ride to a water fall and then be expected to remember what horse you were on. My horse was a "biter". She kept trying to bite other horses. No big deal to me but, did kinda freak some of the other guests out. The river tubing was actually a lot of fun but, be prepared to get wet and AGAIN, you are rushed through the process. Lunch was decent. Just a buffet at the resort. The pools after lunch are pretty and have different temperature levels. They really don't keep track of the group very well so, expect to have to wait for people who don't pay attention or like to dally. All in all it would have been a lot better if they divided the group up and only did 10-12 people at a time. They also need to hire some people who actually enjoy their jobs to be handling an activity like this.

Do it!!

Absolutely fabulous! Ivan was a great tour guide. Well organized and accommodating. Very personalble and fun! And Jaime did a wonderful job driving! Thanks to the 2 of them our full day of adventure was a blast! I wouldn't change one thing; loved it all. Ziplining was great, horseback riding with a small waterfall stop, river tubing amazing, and hot water springs relaxing at the end. Lunch was simple yet delicious local food. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommended! Worth the price!

The tour guide Ivan was amazing! He explained everything very thoroughly. They took pictures of us during all the activities and only cost $30 per person or $50 for couples to have them emailed digitally. Everything was so fun & would definitely recommend! We were picked up directly in front our hotel which was very convenient.

Costa Rica tubing tour

Pick up and drop off were well coordinated with Ivan and Jorge who were gems. The whole tour was so much fun. The staff at the facility were great and so was the lunch

Best day ever!

While we were sad that we didn’t see any animals during the day, the guides made this the most exceptional adventure we’ve ever had! They truly love their jobs and have so much fun sharing their passion with all their guests! 5 stars just doesn’t seem high enough!

Great family time!

Fantastic perfect family adventure day. Alejandro, our guide, did a great job of herding the tourist cattle so to speak and making sure we had what we needed at each stop along with little tidbits. The ziplining was well organized, great views and FUN! We absolutely loved the river tubing....it's more like solo whitewater rafting but there are so many guides there to help i felt perfectly fine! But, if that kind of thing intimidates you it's no lazy river beware! Filling and great lunch buffet too Would and will recommend to American friends! Go. Enjoy. Lots of fun!

Warning - Parts are DANGEROUS

Zipline was amazing and a wonderful experience. Horseback riding was ok. Tubing was VERY DANGEROUS. Tubing should not be done in class 3 rapids, and no part of the description mentions this or the extreme danger. 6 of 7 of our group were flipped, some more than once. 2 of our group almost drowned (very experienced swimmers) within the first 30 seconds because they were launched into an area of extreme rapids that dropped them into a violent undertow. This is extreme tubing, not a lazy river with a few little drop offs. At least 10 people were flipped on that first drop. There was a lot of confusion about when to change clothes into a bathing suit and no clear direction from our guide. Half the people in the large group changed at one time and half changed later. This delayed us while waiting for people to change twice instead of once. As a result, we had less time at the hot springs. It's a great tour, but the dangerous nature of tubing in class 3 rapids dropped my score to a 3.

Great family experience of Costa Rica

This was one of the best things we did when in Costa Rica. I took my three teenage children and they loved it. The activities were all great and well organized. The pickup from our resort was right on time and we appreciated a quick stop for bathrooms and breakfast on the drive out to the adventure park. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the nature of Costa Rica but be prepared for the adventure!

Exhilarating!!!

This experience was exceptional!!! Our guides Julio and our driver jusdanny were professional, courteous, and genuinely kind. The river rafting was exhilarating, the zip lining and horseback riding were really amazing. The day ended nicely with the hot springs and mud bath. My entire family had a blast, so many amazing memories!! Thanks!!

Fantastic experience! ...

Fantastic experience! Really enjoyed it. The river tubing was the highlight for us. I would say though that if you are nervous around fast flowing water, this might be one activity to skip. Our family loved it. Long bus ride from Tamarindo, but everything was as planned.

Fun but average

We lived our tour guide. He was amazing. Giving it an average rating cause tubing got cancelled and when emailing to get a partial refund I was ignored. The zip lining was soooo rushed that it was hard to take it in as your lines up and rushed to get off and on the next line to get to the next one. One the rock climbing wall I was basically pulled up he was rushing me and everyone else I dinged my knee . Lunch was amazing. Horseback riding was also slightly rushed and I feel like the poor animals don’t get enough to eat and may be over worked. Hot springs was amazing as well.

WOW! A Day of Adventure!!

We were feeling "adventurous". The horseback riding was ok, our favorites were the tubing and Zip line..WOW, WOW, WOW! This is not a lazy river tubing.😆. Rest assured there are helpers all along the way to help you. The zip lining, which I was nervous about because I'm not a fan of heights, was also awesome. If you're on the fence about it, if you do it, you will be proud of yourself. Again, they have helpers who will guide you all along the way. The best part was swinging by a rope, OVER the rain forest. Oh and the slide! Very cool. The lunch buffet was ok. You end the day at the hot springs/mud bath. A nice relaxing day. A must do adventure in Costa Rica

Excellent adventure!

So well planned with a variety of activities and a large group. Nicole was great, so helpful and well organized. She kept us on task and on time, while exhibiting patience and kindness to everyone! One recommendation, when they say pack bug spray. You should wear bug spray!

Full day packed with fun

This is the ideal counterbalance to quiet beach days in CR. We started off with the relative calm of riding horses and getting to know our fellow adventurers along the way. Even with sporadic light rain, the zip line course was a highlight. We moved rapidly from one platform to another in a setting unique to this area. Ending in the hot springs was a lot of fun, especially with the suspension bridges and mud baths. We missed out on the tubing due to high water levels, but it was a very full, invigorating day. Oh, what a great buffet lunch!

Jungle Adventure

Everything was ok. We didn’t get to go tubing. A tree had fell. I hope we get a rebate. Loved horse back riding, the hot springs were nice. Beautiful terrain. Zip line was great. Awesome, patient staff. The lunch as the best meal we had in Costa Rica….

Every moment was memorable , our driver alone with his partner was wonderful.. I’m looking forward to have another adventure with you guys again.

Everything was awesome. Fyi, the tubing is not for the faint of heart, but still a great time!! For memories buy the pictures, because you will not be able to take your own while doing the activities.

This excursion was soo much fun. Be prepared to have a 12 hour day, but it was totally worth it. The zip lining through the caves was breath taking, horseback riding was chill, and the hot springs was really relaxing. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

Brilliant day trip

Santos and Jaime have outdone themselves on this trip. They told us interesting facts about Costa Rica on the way there, they made sure our belongings were safe all the time and were always at the right place to pick us up and drop us off whilst we were transitioning from activity to activity. Brilliant day, highly recommend this one especially for adventure seekers!

Frank and Santos were extremely professional and knowledgeable guides. The different aspects were particularly phenomenal. ZIP lining and river tubing were by far the highlight of the trip

Great Zipline and Tubing

This trip was super fun! The Ziplining was one of the more diverse experiences I had and even though the rapids were intense, the guides did a great job making sure we were safe. It was wonderful and would definitely do it again!

Best experence ever!

I have done white watreer rafting in the past. This team was far superior in ervery aspect of any of my previous experiences. Thier concern for the safety of the each person rafting was impreesive. They were genuinely kjnd and thoughtful in all their interactions. THe entire team was phenominal! Highly reccommed this facility to all concidering a thrilling experience.

Money Hungry, SCAM

I do believe this would have been an enjoyable experience but unfortunately I did not get to experience that. I paid for this excursion for two people with pickup. Let me preface this by stating this was apart of my boyfriend’s birthday trip. Getting to the first activity which was horseback riding I was told that I can not participate due to my pregnancy. I must say I am very active due to the military and actually have horses myself, plus I got cleared to do all activities by my doctor. I understood the liability so I asked if there was anything that I could still do and was told no. I then asked for half of the amount returned to me (refund) and was told no. Why are you keeping the money I paid when I am not participating in the activity? Ultimately neither one of us participated and I again asked for a refund for the full amount since neither of us were involved in the activities we paid for to which they declined again. I asked them to please take us back to the hotel and was told that I would have to pay for that as when I already paid for pickup and drop off. I was told that a driver would be there within 30 minutes, all while the driver who brought us was still there, so in order to salvage the remainder of my boyfriend’s birthday I paid the additional $120 (scam) for a driver. I paid for the driver at 11 and he did not arrive until 2! This was by first the worst experience I’ve had with excursions while traveling.

Great Costa Rican adventure!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the full-day tour with Santos and our driver, Diego! From the moment we were picked up right in front of Witches Rock Surf Camp in Tamarindo, everything went smoothly. We booked the tour the night before, and our accommodations were confirmed immediately, which was incredibly convenient. The van was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, which made the journey a breeze. Both guides were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. The horse ride was a highlight—it actually went longer than expected, and we loved it! It was a fun, scenic ride, though we did notice the horses were kept in somewhat cramped conditions. The zip line experience was exhilarating, with multiple lines crossing over a raging river between massive rock walls, making it feel even more exciting and scenic. We were initially supposed to do tubing, but it was canceled due to strong currents from recent rain. Instead, we were offered the option to hike to a beautiful waterfall and swim in the natural pool below, which we absolutely loved. Afterward, we joined the rest of the group at the hot springs, which were relaxing, though the mud did have a strong smell! The pools, however, were clean and soothing. A special mention goes to the buffet lunch—it was fresh, tasty, and a real highlight. There was also an option to purchase alcohol with lunch, which was a nice touch. On our way back, we had the opportunity to stop at a fantastic gift shop near Liberia airport, which had some of the best souvenirs we've seen. Throughout the tour, there were plenty of bathroom breaks and time to buy food or coffee, which made the day feel well-paced. The whole experience was well worth the price—around $400 for two people, including all activities, food, drinks, souvenirs, and professional photos. We highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun, organized, and memorable adventure in Costa Rica!

Nativesway tour guides were awesome

NATIVESWAY was the tour company Julio ceaser and Diego our local guides were all over it they really looked out for us and got us to we’re we needed to be safely and on time The heights of the adventure tour for me was definitely the tubing and zip lines wasn’t a big fan of the horse back riding nothing bad really it just wasn’t my thing personally we also enjoyed the hot springs at the end of the day The buffet brunch had a good selection of food and everyone enjoyed it It was a long day we departed tamarindoo at 6:30 am and arrived back at 7 pm ish Transfers to and from location approx 2hrs 1 way Overall great bang for buck
