3 Hour ATV Secluded Beach Tour from Tamarindo, Flamingo, Conchal & Grande

Hands down the best tour of our vacation!

Hands down, this was the best ATV tour ever! Well worth the $$$. We drove super fast through mud puddles and stopped off at 3 beautiful beaches. My kids loved this! We did an ATV tour last week in LaFortuna w a different company-twice the price, half the time and not even fast. Totally recommend this tour!

Gustavo was the best guide I recommend requesting him. He made sure my friend and I learned about the sights during the tour and always ensured we were safe during the excursions.

Lots of fun

Probably the most fun we had on our trip. Prepare to drive through some water and mud if you are there in the rainy season. This was part of the fun. We visited 3 beaches where we could explore, take pictures, and get in the water. They are mostly visited by locals instead of tourists. We saw howler monkeys and stopped for photos. The tour was just the 3 of us. We were on single driver ATVs. The ATVs were in very good working order and easy to drive. The shorter 2 hour tours seem to be more popular. I am an experienced driver however my family is not. Most of the tour was limited in speed but I managed to get above 40 kph in a couple of spots on straightaways. We stayed on dirt roads more than 90% of the time but there are other cars occasionally as locals will use them. Some of the roads are residential. I would have loved to go for even longer than the 3 hour tour.

Beach ATV Tour

Beautiful scenery as we drove through the forest and the farmland. Three beautiful beaches to stop at. A great guide! We all loved our ATV tour!!

Had a blast. Highly recommend

We had a blast on this adventure. We saw howler monkeys, 3 secluded beaches—which were all incredible—and got to get dirty on our ATVs. You can stay as clean as you want, but I chose to power through the mud and puddles to get as filthy as I could get. All skill levels can enjoy this trip.

Tamarindo ATV Beach hop private tour

Our guide picked us up then took us to get the ATVs and ride through the province on dirt roads to 3 different beaches and through the forest and some local residential areas. It was a great experience overall. We had fun on the ATVs and seeing the different beaches was so beautiful. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing experience

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and let us take our time to explore and enjoy the water at the beaches we stopped at. We got Casco and Javier as our tour guides and we couldn’t be happier! They spotted out various animals and identified them to us. Made sure we were having a great time and were safe. Worth every penny!

Frankly I was...

Frankly I was disappointed as I didn't think it fit the way it was advertised. I was hoping to see some monkeys and wild life. We saw almost no wild life. We drove about 20 miles of rough gravel roads and saw 3 beaches. Not much I couldn't have done at home.

Bull Riding on an ATV

Boolked this for a Sunday, and for some reason I was the only one on the tour. Which was good for me! Roberto was the guide and he was excellent. I had fun "bull riding"on the bumpy roads. The advertising photo is misleading, however, because it shows ATVs on a beach. You cannot ride them on beaches in Costa Rica, because turtles rule! The directions to get to the meeting point were unclear and linkup didn't go as smoothly as it should have. Plus, tour was supposed to include pickup at hotel, but I stayed at JW Marriott and it is isolated from Tamarindo..

This was the best experience we had in Costa Rica. Our guide was super professional and friendly. I highly recommend this tour.

Pirates Beach

Nice shuttle driver picked us up in time and we laughed the whole drive. Easy checkin and nice ride. It is dusty, but they give you goggles. We only went to two beaches because the sun was setting and we liked the second stop at pirates beach.

ATV fun

We had a great afternoon on our ATV tour - memorable, adventurous and fun! The route was a perfect way to see the mountains, small towns, remote beaches and countryside. It's the best way to get on the backroads of Costa Rica. Be prepared to get really dusty - I would recommend bringing a bandana. The guides did an excellent job keeping out group safe and together but they seemed a bit overwhelmed as our group had 25 people in it of varying driving abilities. When I booked the tour they promised me there would be a maximum of 15 people so we were a little disappointed. It would have been better for them to break the group into two smaller groups. Our family recommends this adventure for sure!

Not as advertised

This trip was not as advertised. We never left the dusty back roads on the ATV. The beaches while secluded, were full of people and there was no way to ride the ATV on the beach. On the Native Way website this tour is advertised as "3 Hour ATV Secluded Beach & Snorkel Tour". There was no snorkeling offered, and cold water was the only beverage. To top it all off we waited about 45 min for the equipment to come back from a morning excursion in order to complete the equipment needs of our group. All and all we would not recommend this trip.

You are not going to ride an ATV on the beach.

NOTICE: The picture on the website and the description are misleading. You are not going to ATV on a beach. You are going to take a dusty road to three beaches that you can drive to in your car. You are going to be hit up to buy drinks and food at the first two stops. On the positive side, the staff were very nice and the ATVs are new and well maintained.

Fantastic Adventure!

We had a great time with Roberto as our guide. The beaches were gorgeous and there was a lot of variation between each one. We saw a snake and trees full of Howler Monkeys along the way. I highly recommend this tour!

Fun tour to three beaches with kids!

We had a great experience with Jason, our guide, visiting three beaches on the ATVs. We brought along our 11 YO and 9 YO boys to ride with myself and husband. They loved riding the ATVs and then playing in the water at each beach.

Really enjoyed visiting the beaches, particularly the smaller, lesser known ones. Also enjoyed traveling between the beaches and the local neighborhoods.

Amazing and fun experience!

Our group of 8, all had a great time riding through rainforest and stopping at the beautiful beaches! We went swimming in the warm water and it was amazing. The BBQ chicken kabob was so delicious at the local beach stand on one of the stops. Jason, our tour leader was so nice and professional!

Highly recommend ATV private beaches

Great tour to off the beaten path beaches we would have never experienced otherwise! They were beautiful spots! The ATVs were very easy to use, first timers do not be intimidated! Our guide was very cool, knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this tour

Kenneth is THE MAN

We had the most wonderful time - thank you, Kenneth! This was a wonderful way to see a wide variety of coastal Costa Rica. From roadside communities to offroading in mud in puddles to margaritas on the beach, our tour had it all. Our tour guide (Kenneth) took us to four of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen, took our pictures at prime lookout spots, and let us jump in the water at every stop. Lots of wildlife as well! Iguanas in the trees, horses and Costa Rican cows around every corner, a friendly pot-bellied pig, and ocean-swimming dogs. 10/10.

Not really adventurous.

Unfortunately this tour was not as advertised. The “chance” to see wildlife were only a couple of dogs along the side of the roads that the trip was really on. It’s not off road at all apart from crossing a couple of puddles and there was no commentary at all. It was basically a procession from one beach to another. The ATV equipment itself was 1st class and the guides were friendly but overall it was fairly boring and no wildlife was seen at all.

Fun day with the family!

Such a fun day and took us to some beautiful beaches. We booked through natives way but 506 transfers is who did the actual atv tour.

Beautiful beaches; dusty roads!

The trip to the beaches was fun. We drove our ATVs through small side-streets and neighborhoods to get to the beaches! There were beautiful beaches and lovely water but there was a LOT of dusty travel to get there!

Atv ride

The tour was so fun!! We got to drive around town seeing the culture and got to see and hang out at beautiful beaches that were hidden away. Our tour guide was awesome and even stopped to show us monkeys and different sights on the way! Richardo is the best!! Also our driver was super nice and picked us up from where we were staying and dropped us off!

ATV fun in Costa Rica

We had an excellent tour and our tour group leader Mike was awesome! He was very accommodating, pleasant and helpful. He was also very safety minded. We enjoyed the tour route going down dirt roads thru the country with 3 secluded beaches along the way. We have a 4 wheeler but I have very rarely rode it. I was skeptical at first not knowing what terrain to expect but it was no problem for me on the tour. I would recommend this tour if you want to have a little adventure and fun. We got some rain during part of our trip but it was all good. We went to Puerto Viejo beach, Pirate beach and one other. They picked us up at our resort in Flamingo. The ATV's were well maintained and safe. The staff was great.

Great experience, fantastic time

We had a fantastic time on this ride. A friend and I did it as solo riders, even though we were pretty raw, experience wise. Mike our ride leader was very good. Was able to point out a couple of times, families of monkeys hiding in the trees. The beaches were great, beautiful scenery. It would have been difficult to get there unless you had a suv. Both riding the quads and experiencing the scenery of the hills, beaches and the ocean, all made for a trip I would recommend.

Amazing tour!

Great atv tour! Went to some awesome beaches and fun roads. Definitely worth it and is a must do! Our tour guide offered to take our pics and was patient when we just wanted to take some pics. He offered for us to jump I’m the water if we wanted to but we didn’t need to do all that. Wear some clothes that you don’t care about getting dirty!

We loved it!

This was a wonderful experience! I would recommend this anyone including people who over 50. The communication was wonderful and they picked us up in Playa Flamingo..The ATVs we very easy to drive and the scenery was beautiful. We did not get a chance to snorkel because the water was to rough (no one controls the weather)at the time but that was the case for all the excursions we did the week we were there.. you can still swim and enjoy the secluded beaches. We did see howler monkeys .. and so many things along the way. Things to note: 1)Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty over your bathing suit 2) bring a bandana or covid mask or something to put over your mouth because of dirt roads and dust 3)bring a small towel and sunscreen.. bugspray 4)closed toe shoes

Fun adventure

Jason was awesome we rode ATV’s in secluded back roads, in water, up mountains, on beaches. Stopped for drinks and had a great time. Definitely recommend!

3 hour ATV AND 2 Beaches with Jef

Probably my best adventure!! First time in Costa Rica. Nervous about the ATV but Jef took me on as a passenger … LOVED LOVED LOVED this adventure!!!!! So exciting.

Enjoyed the ATV tour!

My son and I really enjoyed the ATV ride. When we stopped at bahia de los piratas, gregori (our tour guide) took time to show my son different animals in water like star and urchin. He was patient with us and we really appreciate that!

Boring road drive and no snorkeling really

Seeing that we were in Costa Rica you'd think the atV tide would be more adventurous than a dirt road. Sure some pot holes and some mud in a couple areas but a dirt ROAD nonetheless. Zero adventure. Zero skill flat slow boring. When we got to the snorkel beach the guide handed us dirty poor quality snorkels and pointed to the beach. Not another word. I couldn't even see out the left eye of the mask and we had no idea where to go what to see nothing. Such a waste of money.

Old people friendly

Really enjoyed the whole experience, swam in pirates cove, had drinks at second beach...guide was A+

Highly recommend

They weren’t kidding when they said to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. We were completely covered in dirt but nevertheless we had an amazing experience. The three beaches we got to visit were incredible, and had very few people on them. It kind of felt like we had our own private beach.

Adults and teenage kids all had a blast !!! Gregory our guide was amazing . Also used natures way for golf cart rental also 5 star !!

ATV Mountain and Beach Tour - AMAZING !!!!

Our favorite parts of the trip were stopping at the different beaches, having fresh coconut water, swimming and snorkeling at the beach stops, and seeing howler monkeys and iguanas while we were riding the ATVS. Native's Way gave us an awesome tour, it was so much fun and we would definitely book with them again!

Awesome adventure!

We had a great time with our guide Dayron! We rode all over... in the mountains, on the streets and on the beach. Went through a lot of water too. Amazing views. This was a great experience and I totally recommend.

ATV Tour!

My friend and I took the ATV tour and it was the best part of our trip! Ander was our guide and he was so helpful and fun. We had a blast and were laughing the whole time. I definitely recommend this tour!

MOST ADVENTUROUS ATV TOUR EVER

I really cannot say enough about this tour. Most adventurous ATV ride EVER. Shuttle service included and we had a group of 5 and were the only ones on the tour so it was completely private. It was also a long tour so you get your moneys worth. The guides were personable and funny! They took us to a couple different beaches (one we rode on) and also offered us a chance to swim if desired. We passed through different towns and went through many dense jungle type back paths filled with mud, rivers, steep hills, cow pastures, etc. I do not recommend this tour for people that are not confident in their ability to maneuver dangerous objects while off roading. This is basically what you’re doing the entire time. The trails can be very rough and require a decent amount of driving skill along with the ability to take risk. The ATV’s were in amazing condition and rode very well. No problems occurred even after going through water, mud, rocks, clay, sand, etc. Had 5 different gears and high speeds. Could not have asked for a more adventurous and exciting ATV tour. The guides are awesome and will help you if at all needed. Erik was amazing. THANK YOU!!!

Fun in the mud and beautiful beaches!

The 4 hr ATV tour was just one of the amazing experiences we had in Costa Rica. I was with my 2 sisters and one of them later said this was the activity she was least looking forward to, but because it was my birthday trip she went along with it. We ALL had a blast and were so happy we booked this experience (even the skeptical one). Our guide was Andy and he was fabulous! We got to drive through mud and see some amazing beaches that are off the usual tourist routes. We even stopped (towards the end of course) to enjoy a refreshing beverage at an adorable little beach-side bar. It was a fabulous day - I would HIGHLY recommend it!
