Wonderful trip to see the whales

We had a nice lunch on our way out of the harbour. We had a bit of rough wather, but we got to see the whales. I would love to take this trip again, as it was breathtaking to see the whales blow water in the air and do their tailflip

Waste of money. You pay to watch people vomit

This was the worst experience I have ever paid for. The entire boat was vomiting and we saw two tails. It was absolutely horrible

Get ready with your spew bag . Don’t eat the beautiful lunch . The boat makes half the crew seasick .if you don’t spew up you will be The lonely one out watching others throwing up ,other from that was a good experience🤗

Whale watching

The whale breaching the water surface was amazing! I was surprised to see the first whale so soon after departing the pontoon.

Excellent experience!

We had an amazing trip! The whales were so active, breaching out of the water 10s of times and saw more than 5 whales! We loved our experience so much! The lunch was good as well. Boat driver was so great and went right to the whales.

Trip it, you'll like it 😋

Trip was great! Saw a whale right after we left the harbor. After watching for a little bit, the comentater noticed something didn't look right and reported the situation to a marine authority to check things out. We traveled a little further and spotted 2 more whales and they liked to breach the water. Awesome view!! My grandson did start to feel a little queasy during the trip, but the crew helped out with gingerale an a pair of seasick goggles which helped!!

Crap.

It was rubbish. Boat was old and noisy, lunch was barely edible and intsructions were wrong on where to board the boat. And there was barely a whale to be seen.

Must go what an amazing trip!! 4 hours of sightseeing, lunch and whales!!!! Beautiful and peaceful are the views of Australia. We saw a small pod of 3 whales and two other at different location. Capital kept moving and adjusting to make sure we saw whales. Great team on board. Don't miss this tour.

Don't go if you don't have experience with boat rides in the ocean

Lunch was served shortly after we boarded the boat in the bay area. The boat drove out to the wide open sea shortly after lunch was over. There was so many waves out there and the boat was bobbing up and down a lot, which caused me, and some other people to puke. I don't recommend due to the seasickness. And if you get seasick, you're still stuck on the boat feeling sick and awful until the whole trip was done.

Worth the time!

The Tour Guide made the experience! She was just wonderful. She kept us all very engaged with the sights and when we spotted the whales!

Not a pleasant trip at...

Not a pleasant trip at all after a long wait. We saw a whale back for a few seconds at about 400 meters and that was about it for my very evening from that trip

A must if you want to see a whale!!

We wasn’t guaranteed to see any whales on our trip but we sure did see some. It is breath taking to see these large mammals come up for air and make a splash. We don’t see one come way outta the water but we saw several come up for air. It was exhilarating to see.

Wonderful nature

The trip was beautiful, very nice staff with lots and good informatios. We only saw a female whale with his calf, but it's ok. These are free and wild animals. We are not at a zoo or a circus. And we knew also that the season is ending.

Whales in their natural habitat

This tour delivered everything it promised! We were able to enjoy the sights of the Sydney harbour as we made our way out to Sydney Head. The ocean was slightly choppy, so the advice to bring some sort of anti-motion sickness medicine is a good tip. I don’t succumb to this type of sickness, so I enjoyed scanning the horizon looking for the pods of whales. We saw a couple of moms and their calves. It was fantastic seeing them in their natural environment. There was plenty of space to move about the boat and the breakfast that was served was tasty eggs, sausage, beans, mushrooms, roll. Coffee on board as well as drinks for purchase. This was the next to last day of this tour for the season, so I’m glad I caught it before the end!

Bad experience with many times of cancellation by tour provider.

My family and I get bad experience on this tour as it was canceled 2 times. First cancellation was informed us 24h in advance. But 2nd cancellation at last minute we get up since early morning and rush to go the meeting point while we arrived the agent just told us cancel again. It spoiled all of our plan so sad. If you have short period of time to visit Sydney I don’t recommend this tour to prevent the cancellation and impact to other tour schedules that you already planned.

No reason for us to rebook with a company like this one.

Because of no fault of our own, with all fault directed to the Australian government, we could not make the trip. I asked for a refund, nothing doing. Kind of not cool, since the company doing the cruise had called the trip off. So it really was a sham.

A very bad experience

This was one of the worst experiences I have had in long time! The boat should have never gone out in the 3 meter (9foot) swells. Over half the people on the boat ended up barfing all over the place and several people were knocked off their feet because of the massive boat gyrations. We did not see any whales and that was a risk you take and I can understand that. What I don't understand is feeding everyone a big lunch in relatively calm bay waters and then take us out into the massive ocean turbulence. They offered us a chance to rebook but I would think long and hard about ever getting on one of their boats again when they care so little for our comfort and safety.

Whale watching roller coaster

Our trip lasted about three and a half hours with high wind, equally high waves and the boat rocking, plunging and cork screwing at times. Unfortunately due to the white foam on the top of the waves it was difficult to spot any whales but the crew tried their best. The skipper did a great job attempting to minimise the movement but the boat plunged its nose down a couple of times and many people were seasick. Overall it was an exciting experience and the operators promised an email for a free second opportunity as no whales were seen.

Nice day but no whale

It was a very pleasant day out in the sun and we were able to have a nice outing in the harbor. The lunch was good and the team on board was excellent in terms of sharing their experiences knowledge and just what was going on. Unfortunately we were not able to see any of the whales up close (apart from some very brief glimpses) made the day rather disappointing. But we understand that it is no fault of the team on board. We are unfortunately visitors to Sydney and we're hoping that we could reschedule our trip. Apparently they would write to us to offer an alternative however we have not heard anything today and we are leaving this afternoon. The lack of follow-up was unfortunate so I would like to appeal for a refund instead. Thank you

Wet whale watching

Seeing the whales was great. Lunch was OK. Encouraged to go outside but not warned about getting soaked. Also other people throwing up was not pleasant.

Fantastic

Saw many pods of whales.Was a fantastic experience. Bbq lunch was very nice and the crew friendly. If you get sea sick then this adventure is not for you.

Fantastic experience!

We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend booking this experience. Saw several whales, a couple were jumping out of the water close to the boat. Amazing to watch. The boat was clean and there was plenty of space. The food was very good. The whole experience felt well organised and the crew were very helpful and informative.

Whales galore!

Whales, whales and more whales. After a delicious lunch and a detailed harbour tour we headed out looking for whales. The crew and captain did a great job spotting the whales and positioning the boat for maximum viewing by passengers. The water was pretty choppy and the ticket agents reminded everyone to consider motion sickness meds, which was a great suggestion for most passengers.

Excellent trip (do take your motion sickness tablets)

Well organized plentiful lunch on the way out. We saw 3 pods of humpbacks some close up several breaches. Commentary was good and helpful, there was enough space on the boat to move around. Water a bit choppy once out in open season. Sadly for some people they clearly didn't heed the advice to make sure you take motion sickness tablets - my wife who is not good on boats did and had no issues.

Trip was amazing as we got to watch a number of whales. Lunch & coffee provided as part of trip was very good. Must go for a trip if you are looking for lunch as the trip is for approx 4hrs

Whale watching

Absolutely out of this world, takes a bit of patience but it's worth it when you see humpback whales breaching and playing, such beautiful creatures! Staff were friendly and informative, bit choppy but that's to be expected on the sea 🐳

Very nice and complete experience !

It was a really good moment, we saw some whales, they were a bit shy but that's nature. The boat staff was amazing, providing bags for the sick people, as they were a lot. The comments on the boat were interesting, maybe it should have been a bit louder. The breakfast was well-balanced, with a good choice of things.

Be warned.

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale, a tale of a fateful trip. Where the passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour . . . . Positives. We saw whales. The guide was very knowledgeable. The crew was amazing. All of the above not withstanding, this was quite possibly the worst thing we have ever done. Will preface this review with the fact that we reached out to the tour for clarification prior to writing this, but they did not enter the chat. Was this a particularly high swell day? Was this a normal day? We do not know. We can only say what happened on our cruise. Yours may be different. Negatives. There was puke, vomit, upchuck, barf, chunder everywhere. Followed by continuous retching and dry heaving. The crew did a great job of passing out barf bags, but omitted the direction of closing them when done. People were tossing their cookies and then tossing the open bags in the trash can or leaving it on the floor. The trash cans were overflowing and bags left on the deck of the ship were leaking out. People were leaving puke bags on tables. We could not get away from the puke! Aside from the crew, we were 2 of 5 adults not getting sea sick. Thank god for open windows! Things that could have been done differently to lessen the puke parade. Suggest (again) at the check in that everyone take motion sickness tablets. Let them know the waves are really bad today. (Again, we don’t know if they were normal size or not). Demonstrate the correct usage of barf bags. Clearly many on board had not used one previously. Designate a no upchuck area for the few non-vomitors to hide out in until cruise is over. DO NOT SERVE BREAKFAST BEFORE HEADING OUT!! Suggest everyone have a light snack prior and feed them something on the way in if needed. If not for the courage of the fearless crew, the passengers would be lost. 0 out of 10, do not recommend.

Never again

Well... to serve a food before entering the ocean was the top idea. Instead of watching whales i cared about my paperbag. Not only me... like 1/4 of the boat.... It would be nice to mention how shaky it might be for those doing this for the first time. Little dislaimer would help for sure 😉

Great experience of whale watching

Great team crew! Really taking care of everyone on the cruise. They would walk around and if you need help simply raised hand and talk to them. Watched more than 5 times of whales popping out on the surface. It was a memorable afternoon. I would recommend friends and family signing up this trip with them.

Great trip out to see the whales.

Watching the mom, calf and escort slapping flippers and their tails, etc. Also enjoyed the ride, even though it was very wavy and lots of people got sick.

Great experience but likely to get sea sick

Excellent trip with ample opportunities to spot the Humpback Whales on their Migration. The staff were friendly. Lunch is provided but I would strongly advise not eating it as the sea becomes very rough and you will be sick! Take sickness pills beforehand, bring a hat and sunscreen as the wind/sun will burn you and finally bring a dry top as you are likely to get wet! All in all an excellent 4hrs

Awesome!

My most memorable part of the cruise, just seeing the whales and their gigantic size. It was fun watching them going up in the air slamming into the water and the big splash they create. And watching their big tail when they dive.

Hot lunch was nice. Saw pod of 3 whales early and followed them . A breach would have made it exceptional!!

Great trip

Really good trip saw lots of humpback whales BBQ lunch was also good. Two slight downsides the commentary on what the whales were doing and why wasn’t loud enough to hear. Second downside didn’t affect me but certainly affected some people. On the deck upstairs there are two none fixed tables each with three chairs, due to the sea being quite choppy three ladies were toppled from the chairs and the tables went over as well this could of been very dangerous fortunately nobody was badly injured. These tables should be fixed down

Awesome just awesome

This is a must do in Sydney. The trip around the harbour way interesting, but the main event was the whale watching. We saw lots of whales doing spectacular flips and souring out of the water. Just amazing. The trip didn’t feel rushed and the commentary was amusing and informative.

Whales frolicking in the ocean!

We were treated to a fantastic display of whale behavior that lasted for quite a long time with multiple whales and one "show off" who kept breaching, fin flapping and having a delightful time amusing us. I had trouble convincing a friend to go who had just completed an 8-day cruise but she also was delighted and happy she had chosen to go with me!

Absolutely fantastic trip Good food to start with and loads of whales. The skipper worked tirelessly to stay around the pods, without encroaching on their personal space.

Fabulous whale watching trip!

It was an amazing experience and we saw lots of whales! The crew was great and the commentary was spot on.

Poor performance

Poor performance. Captain always had wales on left side, moving on board difficult as tables and chairs are not fixed and passengers are moving everything anytime, difficult to move with a camera in hand as fixed handles are missing on terrace… guide talked too much…reeling on low level - ship won’t be authorized in Europe for such cruises!

Commentary was the best part made the travel interesting and informative. Staffs were friendly, hospitality was good.

Amazing whale watching experience

The route was well researched and the crew was professional. Moreover, the crew provided little tit bits of information about the whales. Onboard lunch was also fine.

Amazing

We opted for the 4 hour boat tour to include lunch with Princess. The lunch was buffet style and was served immediately. The food was fresh and good. We traveled out to sea for around one hour before we caught up with the whales. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this tour.
