Amazing

This tour was one of the highlights of Sydney. We got to see amazing views at Watson's bay and ticked Bondi off my list to see too. The tour guide was hilarious, helpful and so lovely, he definitely made this a must do activity. Such a great way of seeing more of Sydney. Highly recommend. The tour guide Martin was lovely especially with my nut allergy and asking passengers not to eats nuts on board the coach.

Had a lovely day out with my nephew. Excellent round trip. Beautiful views of Sydney. Our coach driver had a lot of historical knowledge and was fun commentary. Very enjoyable trip. Recommended to everyone.

J’adore Sydney

It was perfect! Our driver was dynamic, he gave us a lot of chance to see beautiful side of Sydney and he has respected the schedule. Je also gave a lot of tips for visit on our own. The tour bus was very confortable and the duration excellent! I will certainly recommand it.

Our bus driver/tour guide was excellent. However, we did have over an hour hold up when driving through the botanical gardens due to the military off loading trucks. Out of the bus drivers control and he handled it very well.

Sydney day tour

Martin was great on the tour. He was patient and listened to all the questions. Had great humor and was likable. Tour was great of value.

Fun and entertaining

BondI beach as we had longest stop over there, Watson bay was very nice it was nice to explore Sydney with a tour guide explaining the details and story about the place. Extra tips from the tour guide for our own exploration and lots of information about public transport snd eateries which was helpful

June bus trip

An ideal way to see outside the city CBD in a short time. Convenient meeting place. Great to experience iconic Bondi, with a few tough surfies enjoying waves. Beach was empty obviously in June! Stops were fine, except we did miss a lot being on the bus and wizzing through places like Paddington. Full bus meant had to adhere to time of boarding so watching clock all time. Commentary was informative although driver on my trip had a VERY strong accent and had to concentrate on what he was saying. OK happy travelling.

Great tour for layout and history oc Sydney.

We had Martin as our tour guide. He was very organised in getting us on the bus. The only comment would be some couples were separated due to single people taking separate seats. Martin was very informative and comical in his commentary. We had a great day the weather was warm and sunny.

Quick Tour of Sydney

If you're looking into getting a quick tour to see the iconic landmarks in Sydney, then you may try choosing this tour package. This package gave us a chance to see all the great spots in Sydney, including Mrs. Macquaries chair, Fort Denison, A nice view of Opera House and Darling Harbour Bridge, Rose Bay, St. Mary's Cathedral, Bondi, etc. The weather was rainy though, so we didn't get to enjoy Bondi Beach that much. So I suggest doing a separate trip to Bondi. But overall, this is a great tour if you only have little time to spare in seeing everything in Sydney.

Great bus tour

Loved Bondi beach. The driver was very info and funny and could answer any questions people had about anything. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Don't bother

We thought that we would be seeing many sights in Sydney but that wasn't the case. The driver, predominantly, drove through random residential areas which held no interest. We did visit Bondi beach which was nice. The driver had a very thick accent which made it hard to understand his descriptions of what we were seeing. Additionally, he spent much time educating us on the price of random things-coffee, meals, etc. He must be used to having a bus full of pensioners on fixed incomes with the time spent on telling us where to buy inexpensive coffee and which shopping areas to avoid. It was boring and a waste of a day.

Enjoyed the trip. It gave us the quick view of Sydney we were looking for. Martin the driver was very informative and humorous.

Great way to see the major sights in a few hours. Short stops but enough time to get a taste of places you might want to go back to explore further. Tour guide was knowledgeable but a little difficult to understand due to a heavy accent. Would recommend.

An easy and interesting way to have a general view of Sydney

The guide is very friendly. He gave us a general review about the most important sites of Sydney. The bus is confortable. The time in the sites where we stopped was a little bit short.

Tour great - guide not so much

The tour itself was really nice. Great overview of Sydney and some great photo ops. The guide not so much. We were supposed to meet by the fountain 15 min before the tour start, but he didn’t show up till the exact time. (Believe his name was Martin.) His English was not very good at all so it was very difficult to understand what he was telling you. Plus he spoke very fast. By 1/3 of the way through the tour, people were talking to each other instead of listening to him.

Enjoyable morning

Enjoyed our introduction to Sydney it was a perfect amount of time after a long flight there. Always happy with our Viator tours.

Mcquire seat. It would be nice if you cover a few more tourists hot spots in your itinerary which would be value for money.

Worth taking the tour

Getting to see parts of Sydney you would normally may need a car to get to. You were on a time schedule for each stop but gave you plenty of time for photo opportunities. The drivers accent at times heard to understand but he was knowledgeable and he told a few jokes, even at times explained the Australian slang to the international tourists.

City Bus Tour highlights of Sydney

Our driver was great!!! Really good at telling us the history. Loved how he loaded the bus ensuring the people that need more leg room weren’t cramped in the back and elderly that needed a bit of time to get on and off were able to do so. As usual I think we needed 1/2 hour at the stops and 45 minutes at bondi so you could actually walk on the beach and enjoy it more. What a beautiful city❤️

Good, not great, but worth the money

This was a nice way to see the city on our first day, and the price point was good. As mentioned, it was difficult to understand the driver, as English is not his native language. The tour guide encouraged us to tip, even though Australia is a no-tip culture. He said that the tour was not very expensive, so we might want to tip because it didn't cost much money. I knew that he was difficult to understand from prior reviews, but I thought that it was an Australian accent, which was not the case. I would have liked to hear more history about the city. It was still worth the money, but it wasn't great.

Itinerary was OK - bus leg room was very cramped. Difficult to understand your guide at times due to his foreign accent.

Bus driver/tour guide shared stories about places we drove by, including their history. The stops were interesting and our tour ran right on time.

Good First Day Tour to Get Layout of Sydney

We enjoyed the narration and stops as our first exposure to the city. Our only suggestion is to limit the age of children as there was a 2-3 year old on the 3-hour tour who obviously preferred to be anywhere else. We found it difficult to hear the narration over his screams.

Enjoyable tour

We were able to see more places of interest than expected. The only negative was that it was hard to understand some words of tour guide on bus, but, over all, he did a wonderful jand entertaining job!

Sydney in a few hours.

This trip covered all the highlights in Sydney in a few hours, it was perfect our guide was wonderful.

This is not a pleasant trip and the Opera House has been skipped.

We ask the driver if on board the bus is according to the names that called when gathering we were the first group called. Our answer was yes, but when start boarding, our names were not called until we asked the driver that we have 3 people that over 80 years old. After our complaint he called our group n let us boarded. But afterward, he talk to people behind him saying that we are difficult people, I asked him what does he meant as we are all very easy going people. In our opinion, this driver do have sense of discrimination.

Sydney sightseeing

Not much too be excited about the tour - pretty mundane. The driver/tour guide did his best to introduce Sydney legends and stories but the route travelled is not too interesting.

Disappointing Bus Tour of Sydney

It was interesting to drive through Sydney, but unfortunately our driver/guide had such a thick accent that we couldn't understand more than about 25% of his commentary so it was very disappointing to not learn very much about what we were seeing. Most of the participants had the same complaint and when I brought this to the attention of the company and asked for a partial refund, the response was very negative and insulting.

Tour guide/ Bus driver was thoughtful & knowledgeable we thoroughly enjoyed the tour it was well worth doing.

The tour guide was very nice & helpful he looked after us well, I am disabled & had my small scooter my Husband was on crutches, the bus driver /tour guide organised the seating so those with walking difficulties sat as near to the front of the bus as possible which was very thoughtful he was also very knowledgeable with his tour guide & also answered any questions people asked. Needless to say we had a great time.

Good overall tour of Sydney

I would say Bondi Beach. I had heard about it and it lived up to my expectations. However,if you really want people to do these surveys then don't put minimum requirements on the review. Now that you got me going I'll give the reason for only 4 stars. The tour was great as well as the guide. He was knowledgeable and funny but he had such an accent that it was very difficult to understand what he was saying at times.

The views were amazing and the tour guy very informative. Enjoyed everything about the tour. Our tour guy saw that our group were senior citizens with limited mobility and made sure we were close to the frontand seated close together.

Good tour in a comfortable bus

Good tour in a comfortable bus. Weather turned bad as tour started but that's not the tour's fault. It's a 3 hour tour so stops are short but we got to see quite a few places. I think this tour is a better value than the hop on hop off bus.

Good tour and guide, let down by pronunciation

The tour itself was not bad, a good way to orientate when you arrive in Sydney. The driver/guide was ok, but his accent and pronunciation was very strong and difficult to understand. Even the pronunciation of the word Australia was very accented.

Super guide made our day so much easier!

Great guide who kept it interesting and somehow managed a large group of people and kept them in time.. and in a friendly, jovial way! Super helpful driver who loaded and unloaded our luggage we were not able to check to hotel yet, and he hauled us a cab after the tour!! Thank you Martin!!!!

Just Okay

The driver was knowledgeable, was very friendly and tried hard but he had an accent ( not typical Australian) that was often difficult for us to understand. The stops were rushed .

Sydney Wonders tours made everything worthwhile - time, money and learning

You cannot have a better tour without a tour guide well informed and full of jokes. I enjoyed to the fullest. Worth the money. Was wondering how our tour guide kept the strength of his voice from start to finish while driving too. Very impressive! Looking forward to bringing family and friends next time.

Nice tour!

Two stops before the rain! Very nice bus and seats were excellent! Enjoyed the various views from the stopovers! Too bad it rained very heavily during the tour!
