Great way to see the sights!

Great idea for the first day in town to see the highlights and learn a little history of the city. Dillon was great as our guide. Very informative and patient with the group since it was a little larger and with riders of varying abilities. She also provided ho suggestions for places to visit and eat. There are a couple of hills - one moderate but short (leading up to the Sydney Bridge). The rest of the route was relatively flat with a few gentle grade hills. Good bikes with varying sizes to fit all. There is an option for an e-bike to rent. Stopped halfway thru the ride for a pint of ale/porter at Lord Nelson Brewery. The biggest challenge is navigating thru the throngs of people thru the major tourist areas like the Circular Quay and Darlington Harbor. We went on Monday and it was manageable but would hate to see what it would be like on a weekend. Definitely a must for first time visitors. Would highly recommend Bonza Bike Tours to start your Sydney visit.

The bike tour of Sydney was for low level biking skill

I think it depends on what you're looking for in a bike tour of the city of Sydney. I was expecting more biking, less slow biking, and less stopping. If you want a very slow, easy to bike, easy going bike tour of Sydney, this is possibly a tour for you. We stopped very frequently. There was also a stop in the middle where you could purchase alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. There was a stop for bathrooms. There was a section where we needed to push our bikes, because the gardens do not allow biking through. At the end we pushed our bikes up the final hill. I think this tour would be better suited to have ear headsets or some type of communication device. We were in such a large group of 14, if you were in the rear, you could not hear the guide. I would like this tour better if the group size was smaller, if we had the communication device, and if we got to choose our level of expertise on a bike (so those with more skill could ride with a group with more skill).

Great Bike Tour

This is our second time doing a Bonza bike tour and we had another great ride. We did the longer (full day) Sydney tour that included lunch (sandwiches). The highlight was our guide Dillon who was fun, informative and just fun to talk with. We were two families traveling with teens and Dillon did a great job keeping everyone engaged and made the ride enjoyable. As a cycler, I enjoyed that the tour was longer (about 18 miles) and had some hills. Overall, it was a great day out and the perfect way to see Sydney. I recommend doing this tour on your first day to get an overview of the city and know where you want to go back to and spend more time.

Great introduction to city!

Great introduction to the city. Really liked our guide! Easy to bike in Sydney. Highly recommend. We did the shorter version.

Loved it

I had such a fun time cycling round the city, I learnt lots about Sydney in a short time and saw a huge amount of things. I went as a solo traveller but felt completely part of the group from the start. The cycle routes aren't too hard and there are lots of breaks to look at the sights so I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Sydney in a different way!

Great bike tour!

We had a fantastic time on this tour. Dylan was an awesome guide, lots of interesting knowledge, great sense of humor and very helpful. All made for a great day. Highly recommend!

Great bike tour of Sydney with Jimmy

We did a great 4 hour bike tour with Jimmy from Bonza Bikes on a recent visit to Sydney. Jimmy was friendly, entertaining and provided lots of great information during the tour. The route was very manageable. The bikes had quite small frames but were fine for the tour. There were plenty of stops, including one at the oldest hotel in Sydney for a lemon, lime and bitters which was really refreshing! Great way to see the city.

This was a fun and comprehensive tour of beautiful Sydney. Jimmy was an AMAZING guide! Despite soaking rain, he remained upbeat, positive and super professional! I would highly recommend this tour!

Amazing way to see Sydney in a day

My partner and I booked on the Sydney Harbour Bridge tour (including lunch) and had an incredible time. We were lucky enough to be the only people in our group and our guide Dylan was everything you’d want - knowledgable, humorous and a great photographer. Highly recommended way of seeing the highlights of Sydney in a day.

Must try in Sydney

Dylan is a great tour guide! I enjoyed the bike tour. We biked through a lot of the touristy places in Sydney and the sandwiches provided were good.

A Fantastic 4 hour cycle tour with Bonza Bikes

This was an amazing much more comprehensive and informative than we thought . As we were from Sydney we did wonder about the content. But we saw areas we’d not seen .. fabulous views of the harbour .. a complete circle of inner Sydney .. even a ride over the Harbour Bridge .. guides Stuart and Paul fantastic .. a big thanks

Biking thru Sydney!

Our tour guide, Stu, was so knowledgeable and personable and we thoroughly enjoyed our ride. Saw so many iconic sites.

Dillon was great!

My husband and I booked the Sydney Harbor Bridge Ride with Dillon. Dillon is a genuine person. We learned so much on the tour. It was a perfect combination of Australian history and biking. Dillon made me feel comfortable and assisted me on my e-bike when necessary. She provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this tour.

Ends up being 9-10 miles of biking. Frequent stops and never too strenuous but still some good exercise and good vibes going around the city.

Fun Day

Great day with Ian as our guide. Covered a lot of ground and felt safe on the bikes. Only negative was 16 in group was a little big. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful tour on a bike in Sydney

Fantastic tour with great guide Dilan. Very knowledgeable about the city. Got a lot more from this 3 hour tour than the 4 hours spend on a hop on off bus. Beautiful city and lovely route. Highly recommended and well organised. Loved it.

Fun, informative and safe

It was packed full of all the iconic spots for photos and there were a bunch of hidden gems as well. I had no idea what a large and beautiful city that Sydney was. I have taken many bike tours, but I will say Ricky handled our large group like a true professional. Nobody was left behind because Ricky did such a great job of explaining what we needed to be aware before each leg. I highly recommend.

Guide was excellent!

Our guide, Tony, was excellent! He did a great job of navigating rainy weather and led an interesting, well-paced tour. We had a great experience.

Even though the weather was drizzly it was still a great experience great equipment easy check-in process Stuart was a wealth of information Plus good for laughs :-) the hills were minimal on our e-bikes . it was a much longer ride than we were expecting but we thoroughly enjoyed it I'm very nice sandwiches for lunch. Meeting place was easy to find

Fun and informative

We had only a couple of days in Sydney before traveling to Cairns. Decided to join a bike tour to see some sights and learn about this city The tour is 4.5-5 hours long It is fantastic and very informative. You will cover a lot of territory and learn about the evolution of the city since the Europeans arrived. Our guide did a superb job. I Enthusiastically recommended this activity ! Please note that if you are not in good physical condition, you may want to consider an electric bike

Fun, Informative and safe

Had a fun, informative and safe tour today with Ricky. We did the classic. This is my first time to Sydney Australia. Fantastic introduction to Sydney

Brilliant way to see Sydney, Stuart was very knowledgeable about its history and shared entertaining stories. Well worth doing the 5 hr ride as you far more than if you rented bikes and went solo. Lunch was also surperb!

Fabulous!

Fantastic tour on a beautiful day! We did the 2.5 hour tour, and Tony gave us incredible and honest information about the history of Sydney, and is so knowledgeable. It was a small group of us. Bikes are in great shape, and the people running this clearly love to do their work with excellence. Perfect experience start to finish and a great workout!

Great tour!

What a great tour. We got to see all the key sites in downtown Sydney. Our guide was very informative and made the morning quite fun. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Bike tour with Tony-

Tony took us on an evening sunset, bike tour to Manly Beach. It was a great way for us to start our trip in Sydney. Bikes were working great he took the time to make sure that we all were good. At one point, I struggled, and he checked on me, which I thought was very nice to give myself the confidence I needed.

Top Rated Company!

We only got to experience the beginning of the tour because my husband had a medical emergency. What we saw was lovely. I will say that I wouldn't classify the tour as moderate because there were hills that were challenging to get up (70% dewpoint and high temperature didn't help...!). I want to be sure to point out that Stu was our guide and he was fabulous. He didn't leave our side until we were safely in an ambulance (which he called and directed to where we were). Before that, he went back to the bike store to get an e-bike for my husband. Both his professionalism and concern were off the charts.

Must do!

Amazing—hit SO many sites and just enough history without boring my 9 and 11 year old. Jimmy was new but awesome and a fountain of knowledge.

Great way to see the city!

My husband and I rode bakes with Dylan on Tuesday. We had a wonderful time!! Dylan was very passionate and knowledgeable about several of the areas in Sydney. She shared her knowledge with us fluidly and took us to many different locations. Lunch was fabulous and the group we were in was great! Definitely a great way to see the beautiful city!! We would recommend this tour.

Exhilarating (bridge section), Informative and Fun

What a great bike tour. Adam, our guide for the day, is very knowledgable and has a love of the land. I did use an electric bike as I'm not as fit as others. I'm glad I had the electric bike for a few of the hills. I would highly recommend this team for an excursion!

When in Sydney……..

Great 4 hour tour! Stewart, our guide was amazing. This is a nice option to see landmarks and hot spots around Sydney. Plenty of opportunities for photos. There are a few inclines so an electric bike is an option. Definitely a must do when in Sydney. I highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyable...

Thoroughly enjoyable experience. Met some lovely people from all around the world and learned a lot about the true history of Sydney. Dylan was an excellent guide/host/educator.

A must when visiting Sydney!

What a fabulous cycle around Sydney, seeing amazing iconic sights. Top of Sydney Harbour Bridge, passing the Opera House and so much more. All of this was extra special with our very experienced guide, Dylann, it was wonderful to hear so much about the native people, how they lived and how they managed very well before being invaded by the British. Highly recommend.

Informative tour, comfortable ride

Easygoing tour to see the best tourist spots in Sydney. Jimmy is a great guide with good knowledge of the city and its history. The route is mostly on bicycle or pedestrian road, not too much hills, easy to anyone.

Sydney bike tour

Nice bikes and a very knowledgeable tour guide made for very good and interesting day. We thought we were supposed to get a lunch with refreshments included but that turned out not to be the case. The website was rather misleading in my opinion. All in all a good day that we enjoyed.

A Loving & Respectful Perspective on History

It was fascinating to learn the history of the Gonigal and first contact with European invaders. The bike tour was a fascinating glimpse into the history of the area from two different perspectives. Both Tony and Dylan were wonderful guides and racontours. Their love for each other as father and daughter is evident and made for a warm and positive experience.

The Best Yet

This 4 hour 17k bike ride should not be missed. If you plan on doing this tour make sure you do it at the beginning of your stay, it gives you great ideas on where to go and understand the cities location’s. The bikes are in good condition and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Dillon had an incredible knowledge about Sydney and its indigenous communities. She also told us about colonial migration and famous landmarks. Dillon was really witty and gave us lots of recommendations. Excellent day with Dillon she made this bike tour the best we’ve ever done.

Do this bike tour at the start of your holiday!

Highly recommend! It was a surprising treat to have a bike tour guide that was extremely knowledgeable of the culture here in Sydney. I did not expect to learn so much about the aboriginal people and THEIR lands. So very grateful for Dylan. She is an amazing beautiful soul. MAHALO for the tour.

Had a fabulous time we had Stuart very informative and knowledgeable even when he had to deal with an emergency he was cool and calm would definitely recommend it!! Even biked over the iconic sydney bridge twice thank you Stuart 😊

This was our first tour upon arriving in Sydney. Ben was a great tour guide. We upgraded to E Bikes due to the heat that day. Lunch was fun. Ben was very informative. Moved right along. Hit the highlights.

Sydney harbor by bike

Stewart was a great tour guide; he was knowledgeable and kept up with all of us well. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of Sydney's beautiful harbor.

Brilliant bike tour

From the friendly welcome to the pleasant and knowledgeable guides (Stuart and Jay), the Sydney bike tour was an excellent way to learn the geography and history of the wonderful city. We took the Harbour Bridge tour (5hrs) and the time flew past. Highly recommend.

Thrilling Ride with some history

The bike tour was an amazing experience, that I highly recommend everyone to try. Most of the tour was on flat ground with one hill but easily manageable for most people. Our tour guide Rin was also very knowledgeable on the history Sydney that gave us great insight on how the city came to be. We went on a busy day so we had to ride through some crowds but just added more to the experience. Overall a great bike tour to end my trip in Sydney.

Sydney on bike

Really good way to see Sydney and get a lot of good stories about the city center. Adam really took it to something with interesting facts and reflections. Highly recommendable. Bikes in good condition too snd old as young can participate.
