This was a 10 hour tour but it went quickly. Beautiful ride to the Blue Mountains and Derik explained enough about the stops etc. We all found Derik a very pleasant guide. That’s the most important thing with a tour.

Stunning Sunset

What a fantastic trip. We enjoyed our Hike down to Wentworth Falls , the Beautiful lookout at 3 sitters and the best part of the day was the Glorious sunset. I would recommend this trip to everyone travelling to Sydney. Remember to pack some drinks and snacks for small picnic during the sunset and maybe something to sit on.

I had a wonderful guide, Mitch. He was very informative and had lots of nice anecdotes to tell. Music in the bus was great and he drove safely. The itinerary was well paced and awesome!

Blue Mountains Sunset Tour - the best

It was so beautiful! Not only the nature, but our Tourguide who gave us so many information, shared some fun insights and showed us the best spots. Can only recommend it!

Amazing trip!

An amazing trip! Enjoy every moment of it. Mitch our tour guide and driver was just brilliant and made the whole thing so fun! We didn’t get much of a sunset but it was still absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Not quite a sunset!

We had a great time considering the weather could not have been worse!! Midge our driver went out of his way to make it as interesting and entertaining as could be. It was a shame we did not get to see the sunset but that could not be helped.

Great trip

It was a great trip. Everything organised and went well. Guide was so nice and supportive and gave us a lot of interesting information about places. Views were stunning. Definitely recommend to visit!

I had a lot of fun and enjoyed every bit of it. Mitch is a great tour guide with lots of experience and knowledge. He made everyone feel comfortable and safe.

Outstanding Tour

Our tour guide was friendly, informative and had a great sense of humor. His knowledge of the area including our van trip over from Sydney was superb. Seeing kangaroos on the way was a bonus. The Blue Mountains were stunning and well worth the day trip. The views at Sunset were fabulous. Highly recommend booking this tour.

Best Day Ever!

Getting a chance to visit the mountain, hike to a waterfall and dangle your feet off a rock edge at sunset - priceless. A highlight of our trip.

Fantastic afternoon in the mountains

Derek proved a great, knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide for our tour. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with some epic views and memories that will last forever. The sites in the Blue Mountains allowed a nice introduction to the vastness of the area, finished off with wonderful views as the sun set in the west. We did see kangaroos, albeit in someone's backyard, and I saw a lyrebird as it scuttled into undergrowth, unfortunately there wasn't much opportunity to get to see much more wildlife than that. I'd thoroughly recommend going on it, but it does leave you wanting to explore more and take in the chances to go on things such as the scenic world on a future visit.

A great way to experience this wonderful landscape!

It's called the sunset tour but even before sunset we'd seen so much. The guided walk to Wentworth falls with our knowledgeable guide was great, then the Three Sisters was spectacular but the real highlight was watching the sun go down over this magnificent landscape. One of the highlights of our holiday in Australia!

Sunset and hiking in the Blue Mts.

The ledge at sunset was very memorable and beautiful! The hikes were amazing too! We were hesitant at first because our tour guide did not introduce himself or speak until he picked up all the passengers. Finally he gave us a " brief" schedule of the days activities! We really weren't aware of what was going to happen and when. It should have been clear when and where we would be stopping for lunch and dinner etc.

Best way to see Blue Mountains in a day.

From beginning to end, this tour was fantastic. Mitch is a fun and knowledgeable guide. 10/10 would absolutely repeat another trip with this company.

Great Views and Walks

Excellent your with no frills, just great views and relaxing walking. The guide made everything very clear and taught us a lot of interesting information.

Fabulous experience of the blue mountains - highly recommend

Booked this sunset tour to the Blue mountains and were not disappointed! Derek our driver and guide was calm and knowledgable and took us to amazing vistas, quiet spots, lookouts and educated us along the way - he was very good at setting expectations and needs in advance - to have enough water and snacks after the lunch spot as this was a wilderness tour without lots of cafe/shop stops. The reason we chose it! There were no hold ups or crowds particularly throughout the day and it ran very smoothly. Highlights were the views from the top and bottom (well not really the bottom as that is a whole other level of fitness!!) of the Wentworth waterfall, the sunset at Lincoln with little hiding place to sit and view away from the other tourist collection on the top. We also chose the trip for both the timing (later pick up time of 10am) promise of sunset and avoiding the crowds, bush walk and that it does NOT include the cable car/funicular as so many of the other trips seem to do. This was viewable form the three sisters look out point and I’m so glad we did this tour and not any of the others on offer! Thanks Derek for a great day out 😀

Amazing walking tour through spectacular landscapes

A really well curated tour which covered the Blue mountains, the three sisters, echo point and a sunset viewed from Lincoln’s rock. Our guide, Derek, was very attentive to the needs of different members of the group and ensured everyone had a great experience. The walking was moderately challenging - it’s about 2 hours with some gentle uphill sections. Overall, I can’t recommend it strongly enough.

Incredible tour and views

I did this tour on my last full day in Sydney and I'm extremely glad that I did. What a wonderful tour. The Blue Mountains were incredible and our tour guide did an amazing job in teaching us what makes them unique other than just their beauty. Each stop of the tour was great and ending with the sunset capped a great day. Be prepared to walk a bit but I would highly recommend this tour for those looking to see/learn more about the Blue Mountains!

Perfect day to the Blue mountains.

From the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped off Mitch our guide was incredible. He interacted with all the guest and gave us choices. He updated us every step of the way and answered every question really well and thoroughly. Mitch helped us to explore the Blue mountains, showed us where the wold roo's hang out, fed cockatoos, found a water fall and took us to the best sunset! The day was just perfect.

Great trip for solos too

The bush walk and sunset were the highlights of my trip. Derrick was friendly and experienced, guiding us and making sure that the group was safe. He is knowledgeable, telling us the history as we walked throughout the trip. Thank you for the tour!

A trip well worth taking!!

Spectacular, well worth the trip. Hike down to the falls was great going back up well...we took our time. The views on the stops were well worth it. Mick our tour guide was awesome!!

Fantastic tour of the Blue Mountains

A really nice way to have an adventure outside of Sydney. We were in town for a work event and looking for a day trip to see sights beyond the city. Easy pick up spot with bathrooms and the guide was right on time. Nice small group with a smaller bus. The vehicle wasn’t super new but clean as a whistle and comfortable and some great 80s tunes for those of us who relived our college days while listening (self). We did not see any kangaroos which was a little sad but not the fault of the tour operator. We loved the stop in Glenwood which is the gateway town to the Blue Mountains. Nice coffee, lunch to go options and bakery stuff. We brought a picnic lunch but it would be just fine to pick it up in Glenwood as well. I actually wish there was a bit more time there to enjoy the town and information center. The Blue Mountains were beautiful and the two hour hike was well worth it - you do need to be okay with lots of stairs and wet slippery surfaces. The sunset location was also really nice and a great way to end the day. What really makes this tour so special is the guide Derek. He has a wealth of information about the area, aboriginal culture and the environment. Plenty of fun commentary and conversation and very accommodating with bathroom stops and making sure we always knew what we were seeing and how to be prepared for the hikes and things. Overall I’d highly recommend this tour. Although we didn’t have a ton of time to enjoy Australia this tour made us feel as if we had a much better feel for the country and it’s people and culture.

The best of the Blue Mountains

We had a fantastic tour with our guide Buck. Stunning scenery and walks as well as heaps of local info on Sydney, what to do, eateries etc. Nice to have a later start, smaller group and no extra admission fees to other attractions. We had been to the zoo so this suited us not to stop at a wildlife park. Lovely lunch stop at a small village. Highly recommend this tour and the walks were not hard.

Absolutely beautiful and fun day trip! Our tour guide Derrick was great - funny guy who was very excited about what he was doing and sharing. The hike was great and the views were splendid. Made lots of toilet stops which I appreciate. Definitely do this trip if you want a chance to see the Blue Mountains!!! Sunset was great but cold so bring warm warm clothes.

The tourguide was soo nice and he did everything to make this trip memorable! Unfortunately the weather was bad and due to the fog we couldn‘t see much.

A great way to see the sights of the Blue Mountains region and sunset

I love that the tour started later in the morning to avoid peak Sydney traffic. The guide stopped in Glenbrook for morning break and to pick up lunch. The tour stopped in Jamison Valley in the Blue Mountains region where one can hike to Wentworth Falls and the Undercliff Track. Several stops were made to viewing platforms overlooking Jamison Valley, the 3 Sisters, Echo Point, and Sublime Pt. Sunset was at Lincoln Point

Great experience despite bad weather

We had a great experience with Smokey. It was very foggy and we couldn't see some famous sightseeing sites like The Three Sisters. Smokey was very experienced and drove us back to the Echo Point after the fog was dispersed in the late afternoon. We managed to see the view finally. We enjoyed the tour and recommend it strongly.

Very good trip!

I enjoyed this trip to blue mountains. It's a last minute decision to book and no regrets. Thank you bart ( not sure whether I spell his name correctly), he's the tour guide who led the tour on 14 march. He shared good information about the places and he knew the details. Bart also was very helpful and considerate as he would ask everyone of us where we stayed so that he could drop us at the nearest station; initially I was worried that I may have to walk quite a distance when the trip end late. Thank you for everything! And not to forget the autopia tour operator who was very responsive to my queries.

Friendly tour guide and value for money

A good choice for people not looking for a strenuous trek, who want to experience the Blue Mountains. Friendly tour guides and safe experience.

Beautiful views in the Blue Mountains

We had a great time on the Blue Mountains Sunset tour. It was nice to start later in the day versus the usual 7 or 8am starts. Our guide Smokey was very knowledgeable about the area and interested in all of those on the tour, having us share where we were from and a little bit of information to break the ice. It's a few hours drive, but plenty of stops were made along the way for food and restroom breaks. The climb to the bottom of Wentworth falls was challenging but worth it for the view! The three sister rock formations were also amazing. Unfortunately, the clouds did not cooperate to provide a nice sunset, but the views were expansive and beautiful.

A magical experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and found our guide to be super helpful, knowledgeable and just a great person to take us round. Good amount of time at each stop and beautiful views!

Fantastic day in the Blue Mountains

We had a fantastic day in the Blue Mountains on the Autopia Blue Mountains Sunset Tour, we got to see some absolutely stunning views and it was a very well organised day. Massive thanks to Smokey for being such a knowledgeable and entertaining tour guide!

A great way to see the Blue Mountains

Had a great time on the Blue Mountains tour - would highly recommend! Our tour guide Smoky was amazing and really knew his stuff. It was really interesting learning about the aboriginal history of the region and the natural species of plants and animals living in the area too.

We had such a blast!! Best tour in town.

Book this tour! Chris, the guide, is the funniest, interesting and knowledgable guy you'll find. His stories were those you'll never forget, e.g. about growing up in AU, songs, holiday celebration and so on, but he will also talk about nature, animals, indigenous Australians and more. We had a blast listening to him. Chris will go all out to show you the common sights (at slightly off peak hours) as well as less common view points - hence you can enjoy more peace and quiet while exploring the stunning nature of the blue mountains. Make sure to pack food and water to not waste your time in restaurants/shops during stops and rather take it all in. You can also check Chris out on yt, look for the raman hunter. He literally is the best!

Very nice trip, amazing walk to water falls (with a rainbow as a bonus ;)) Emma was a great, cheerful guide, managing very diversified (also in respect of physical conditions) group.

Amazing views

Loved the later start on the day. Our guide had lots of information to impart while driving to the mountains. He stopped en route and managed to find us a kangaroo sighting in the wild. He was really good about letting us know what to expect at each stop and made the excellent suggestion that we pick up food at one of the stops so that we would not waste time waiting for a restaurant meal at the 3 sisters look out. He made 2 extra stops at different view points as the group was punctual at returning to the bus. It was a beautiful afternoon/evening but chilly. The clouds rolled in at the wrong time so our sunset photos were not great but we already had lots of great photos from earlier stops. We loved that there were only 20 people on the tour and would recommend this trip to our friends.

The guide was excellent,...

The guide was excellent, she was very friendly and knowledgable and gave us plenty of time to go at our own pace. I’ve been in the day and at sunset and would highly recommend sunset.

A very enjoyable day

Our driver/guide, Rachel, was fantastic. She knew so much about the group, geology and history of the area that we felt we knew at home. The views are beyond gorgeous. Unfortunately the weather was not cooperating so there was no sunset but there was liquid sunshine.

Bring your walking shoes.

The weather was great. If we hadn't seen the Grand Canyon the month before, we might have been impressed.

Had a great tour!

I had an amazing tour guide James! He showed us the most beautiful places with waterfalls and amazing views! He was also very enthusiastic, had a lot of knowledge and could talk to us for hours about everything. I loved it!

Spectacular Tour with Amazing Guide

Oh my gosh. We had such an amazing tour with Smokey. He went above and beyond to show us extra sites not on original tour, like kangaroo families in the wild and ancient writings of aboriginals. We saw amazing waterfalls and landscapes and sunset. He recommended best spots for photos. We came home much later than originally planned, which we all agreed to, so he could give us the best tour ever. He drove into Sydney from a specific direction so we could see the amazing lights of the city, Harbour and Opera House. He had great stories and history and he had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend this tour and Smokey.

Wentworth falls trek a bit hairy for the over 80 crowd but worth the scare. Really upbeat guide made the day.

Rainy day in the mountains 😔

Christopher, our guide was completely charming for the group of 5 on the tour. As much as he tried to get to the great sites, the weather, for the most part, was not cooperating.
