This was a fantastic experience. Flying over the water was incredible. Rob and Stuey were our crew and made it a very easy adventure. I would thoroughly recommend trying this.

You could do much better

The parasailing itself was okay. I would have given a higher score if the guide (Quinn)even made an attempt to mention our names. Imagine how we felt, when he called every other person (6 of 8 pax) in the boat by name but avoided ours. GC Watersport, we apologise that we don't have names that are European or American, but ours matter to us too. I promise we are humans. Also, you had mentioned that photos will be taken and provided at a cost. if you had added the caveat that images may not be good or clear for whatever reason, we could have made alternate plans with other passengers. So imagine our disappointment when after this experience ( the good bad and ugly), our shots where not clear, no close up shots as some of the other passengers got. For ref, check Baba11am on the 16th of Feb. We paid anyway. We got the most unintelligible excuse from a front desk (not customer service) when we complained. I jave atta Jedburgh the clearest picture of the batch you took and we paid for. So it was a double whammy: dehumanised and still nothing to show for activity. I will try out GC Parasailing next time and advise others to do same.

Wonder experience

My 10 year old and I loved our tandem parasail. The company was organised and professional. Making us feel safe and confident. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome experience

Absolutely amazing, you get some awesome views with a bit of adrenaline, it is absolutely amazing being up in the air and azza and Hayden are both awesome and look after you well

Unprofessional

The parasailing part was good but the getting to there part was miserable. The boat should have a canopy to shade us from the sun. All on board were burning during the whole experience. We had to spend about 20mins more as the sail failed to launch first time and ended up in the water and tangled underneath the boat. The skipper was extremely unprofessional, swearing with f's and c's and how he hated his job. Hayden (the helper) had his finger cut whilst going under the boat to try to get the sail back on board. He then nearly had his fingers broken because it got tangled in the ropes in his attempt to fly the sail. The whole experience left us all aboard scared and we all wanted to cancel the flight. It was very unprofessional. Whilst we were waiting for the parasail experience. We got to hear the instructions for the jetski team. It was a blessing that we had booked it with jetski safari instead of from this lot. The induction at jetski safari and how they operated was far more professional than gold Coast watersports. For anybody reading this - book your jetski /parasail experience with jetski safari. Gold Coast water sports is very unprofessional in every aspect - gave us a very back door feel after the experience.

Just do it!!

Today we took our Granddaughter on a triple parasail for her 9th birthday. Wow, what an experience! We loved it, we dipped into the water multiple times, once up to our waist! We even touched down on a sand bar before zooming back up. The views were great, the staff greater, and yes Azza and Jordan were ridiculously good looking even if they say so themselves! 😂 I've been parasailing before, but not like this. Just do it!!

Great fun, well delivered but needs to get #sunsmart

I took two teens for a parasail on the spit. It was well organised and well delivered. They provided parking advice and provided good information. We got a ‘sharp’ #wherethebloodyellareya phone call at 9:40 because they wanted us there 30 mins before the 10am start (so may be it should be a 9:30 start?). My only real gripe is that you’d expect them to have some sunscreen on the boat. We got our kids to sunscreen up ahead but - as it happens - our redhead did not put anywhere near enough. Now that’s our responsibility but once you’ve got that wrong - the only option is to bake fair skin in the sun for two hours. I asked for sunscreen on the boat when I found out but they said they didn’t have any. When pressed for any protection, they gave us an old grease covered towel. So it was a bit of a shock to see the skipper reapply sunscreen from his secret stash when there was a kid getting burnt by the minute in front of him. Burns were moderate but could have been a lot worse.

Exhilarating thrill ride!!

My son and I loved the dipping in the water and then flying 20 storeys high above the beautiful Broadwater on the Goldie. The view was incredible and the experience was so very cool! Thanks to our driver and hosts, Azza, PK and Jordy - you were awesome!! An experience we will always remember and one that we thoroughly recommend to others.

Must do activity!

Amazing experience! Such an awesome view from the sky plus a great boat ride to and from the launch area. All the staff were wonderful and really made the experience even better.

Gave a gift certificate for parasailing to my son and a friend. "Brilliant" and "great fun" were their comments. PK was hilarious, AZA an awesome driver. I'd definitely buy more gift certificates from Gold Coast Watersports.

Wow, wow, wow !!!! Had an amazing time parasailing with my son, The view was spectacular even with the weather being a bit crappy. The crew was fantastic at putting you at ease and Tarne (crew member) even had a joke to tell ( as bad as it was 😂), had the most fantastic time, also on the way back in we were joined by some dolphins which made a fantastic day out even better, will definately be back !!! Thanks guys 😀

First and definitely not the last experience with Gold Coast Watersports. Did the parasail which was totally awesome. We had two lovely guys take us out on the water, Aaron and Jordan. They were so fun, entertaining, great humour, made sure everyone was safe and enjoying themselves which of course we all did. Kai (or Kye) came out on a jetski to make sure everyone was safe. They make it clear that safety is the number one priority, and of course having the 'best time of your life' -Azza haha. Everyone we interacted with on the day were wonderful. Was such a nice, kind, safe, exciting vibe. I couldn't be more happy with this experience. Of course because of the wonderful time we had, the hospitality, safety, entertainment and humour, am so eager to experience more with Gold Coast Watersports. This was a birthday celebration and a beautiful one thank you Gold Coast Watersports. Excited to see you again soon!!

Fun in the air

The wonderful crew who were extremely experienced and made you feel safe from start to finish. It was a wonderful and exciting experience and would do it again. We had so much fun.

Loved everything about this experience. The staff were excellent right from the booking through to the end. They were funny, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and had a good time. Highly recommend this company.

Bloody Brilliant!! Great Aussie Experience!!

Right from booking through to leaving the whole team was friendly, helpful and full of humour. Our skip and deck hand (Asher and Jordie) were absolutely great. Skipper was confident in himself and his deck hand and made us feel very safe. We opted to be ‘dipped’ into the water throughout our parasail. This is the only place on the Gold Coast that still does this and is definitely well worth it. There were only three random parasails (six people) onboard which meant we were able to comfortably spread out on the boat. Overall it was a very relaxed experience. We and I will definitely be returning.

Flying high

Had a great time and will be back to do another Watersport . The skipper and his crew were great and explained everything to make my young daughter less nervous for her first time parasailing.

Fabulous experience with GC Watersports

Our parasailing experience with GC Watersports was even more fun than we had imagined it would be and we would highly recommend it. We had the perfect day with Azza and PK, who went out of their way to make sure that we had a fabulous time soaring up to 15 storeys and dipping down into the sea, even touching down on a sandbar! These guys are so much fun and are very informative and professional and extremely safety conscious. We will be back.

I’d give more stars if I could!

It was incredible! The staff are amazing and friendly. They definitely know what they’re doing and put you at complete ease. The view is beautiful and they take some awesome pictures of you - trust me you’ll want to buy them all. Honestly I wish these guys ran every activity on the Gold Coast!

Adventure with Friends

Perfect weather and lovely staff. Is easy to find and no delays, got right into it. My friends and I had booked three seperate single rides (since there were three of us) and we were just over the maximum weight limit to have all three of us go together and we didn't want just one of us to go by themselves so we were all going to. However, the lovely staff went out of their way to see how the weather conditions were to allow all three of us to fly together. If that had not been able to happen they would have also allowed one of us to fly twice so all of us would have had a friend up in the sky with us experiencing it all.

Great experience and accommodated my husbands disability

My husband had a stroke and so he has mobility issues but it was his birthday and wanted to do something fun. Gold Coast Watersports were very accommodating and went out of their way to help us achieve this. Azza and Jordan worked as a great team on the boat and helped move my husband around to make the parasailing experience the best.

Amazing Adventure for mobility-limited teen!

The crew went over and above to help my 13 y.o. daughter and another person who are mobility-limited to experience such a wonderful adventure. I hope all the staff can know what an incredibly special experience it was for my girl, who has been mostly house-bound for three years. Inclusivity at its best! Thank you!

Overcoming fear of heights

I booked this for my son’s 13th Birthday. I am one who is fearful of heights but I thought I’d brave it out as I know my son would love it. I was so surprise at how amazing and relaxing it truly is once you are up in the air! The view was amazing and the Watersports Team were informative and made us feel safe. PK was awesome! So thank you so much for the experience, I would so do it again!!

Parasail over the Broadwater Delights!

Fortunate to be in the right place and time for our parasail experience with Aaron and Jordan recently. There safety brief, attention to the details left us knowing we were in the best hands for such a ride. AMazing was the feeling of being up in the air over the beautiful Broadwater The speed boat ride was awesome too with an interesting history and geography lesson by skipper Aaron as they prepared the harnesses and flight gear for us. Thanks so much skipper and crew! We hope to fly with you again soon.

Overall great time.

The staff were so friendly and professional at the same time. Skilled at operating the equipment. I hate boats and heights but when we finished all I wanted to do was go again. Will be going back very soon for more fun.

Epic Parasailing Experience

I took my 6yr old parasailing and we had a blast. Wonderful customer service and the crew put so much effort into making sure you have the best experience possible. No need to take your own pics because the onboard crew take EPIC shots that you can purchase super cheap at the end. Can’t wait to go back and experience everything else they have to offer. LAST MINUTE ONLINE BOOKING

Wow. What an incredible team at GC Watersports. I booked online about an hour and a half before our adventure as we were on our way to GC from Skywalk (GC Hinterland). I choose them because they offerred a discount code for 10% off on their website. They called us about 10 minutes before our booking to inform us about the high winds which may effect the safety of the activity. Once we arrived we were well informed, waited for the boat to be refuelled, by this time wind had died down. Off we went with absolute confidence. PK and the skipper were great. We flew high and touched the water. So glad I chose them to end a day of Anniversary celebrations.

First time

My wife and I really wanted to give our three boys a memorable time during our trip to the Gold Coast. We choose to do parasailing as a family and we weren’t disappointed. Friendly staff and beautiful weather. I booked online but couldn’t register the discount coupon, but the staff gave us some free pictures instead. That was super awesome! Had a wonderful time...next we’ll be doing some jet skiing!
