It was a great experience to go on this tour from beginning to end, everything was organise, the tour guide Laila was very fluent in English, good in knowledge and cheerful . Lastly I forgot my mobile in car, but she call hotel reception and driver was kind enough to come back in time to return my mobile as I had flight to lombok, I really appreciate both.

Amazing Experience Through the Amazing Tour Guide

My wife and I signed up for the Mt Bromo Sunrise Tour through our local tour agent, Klook. The pre-trip admin was splendid, as Cheap Bromo (the local agent) representative texted me to confirm on the date and time of my travel. It was only then that I realised that I booked the wrong date! But without a hassle at my end, the local agent took it upon themselves to make the necessary adjustments, and we were on our way. Our guide, Shaam, was on hand to guide us on our trip. His spoken English was great, and he took time to share with us the little info nuggets about Bromo. Shaam also made sure that my wife and I felt comfortable throughout our trip as the four-wheel drive could get a little too bumpy. Knowing that we wanted nothing but the best view of the sunrise, Shaam took us to a cool spot with a great view just before the crowd came in! Boy, it was great! Truly grateful that we had Shaam as our guide, and his forthcoming and friendly demeanour meant that we felt that we made a new friend in Surabaya! Kudos to Shaam for making our visit such a splendid one!

Great Tour

Nabil was an excellent, friendly and enthusiastic tour guide and took us to a great spot for photos. The tour was well paced and we had plenty of time at each spot.

Amazing and memorable experience

We had an excellent tour with our guide Faruq. All arrangements were done well. Pick up was on time. The transport arrangements were up to the mark. We got some great views as Faruq took us quite early to some vantage points ahead of the crowd. He was good with kids as well engaging in some stargazing with them and keeping them occupied while we were waiting for the sunrise. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and not to be missed. I would gladly recommend Cheapbromo and Faruq for this tour.

Coolest volcano & breathtaking beauty

Highly recommend this tour! I was delighted with the friendly hospitality and atmosphere from the very first moment we met our driver Josey to our fantastic tour guide Trista. The entire team of three were very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome & never rushed. On the contrary they encouraged questions, which I’m glad they did because this helped understand the significance of the site and the village culture. Truly an epic experience and thankful for Trista and her team!! I can’t wait to come back & take this very same tour and many more with our new friend Trista!

A Joyful Tour of Breathtaking Scenery

We were picked up by your guide Hreesang and a driver from our Surabaya hotel and immediately we knew we were in for a great time. Hreesang was so enthusiastic and warm, and clearly laid out the plans and various options that would present as we went. He was easy to talk to, gave great insights about the history, cultures and developments of the area, and knew when we needed some space to ourselves to enjoy the wonders of Bromo, or to have some rest. The mountains themselves and surrounding area were truly beautiful!! We were expecting one or two spectacular volcanoes - and the tour delivered on that - but we didn't anticipate that the landscape all around would be so stunning and awe-inspiring. The contrast of heading in before sunrise and then returning through the morning made for an exciting contrast as we realised what a special place we had be brought to. It became apparent quickly that the early morning wake-up would be totally worth it, and by the end of the tour we were well-fed, full of interesting information, and feeling like we'd just spent the day travelling around with a good friend. At every turn we were made comfortable, down to small touches like being perched perfectly to watch the sun rise with a ground sheet and a blanket. This tour and Hreesang has our full thanks and recommendation!

Stunning scenes with friendly and attentive guide

Our trip to Bromo was wonderful! Hreesang, our friendly and attentive guide, made sure our every desire was catered for. We had the most efficient driver, were helped to the best view points, enjoyed delicious snacks and drinks and enjoyed Hreesang's companionship along the way. The early start was well worth it and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Stunning views! Seamless tour- Rizky was great guide

Amazing day trip from Surabaya!! Rizky was such a great tour guide. He made the trip so seamless from the hotel pickup in Surabaya through the whole day. We got there early and up to the spot before all the crowds. He got us in the best spot and even brought his tri pod to take some really cool photos and videos! There’s isn’t much hiking involved except for to the crater which only takes about 10/15 min to walk up. All the views are breathtaking and the tour was perfect!

Best experience in indonesia

Definitely my best experience in Indonesia. Our guide Elshar was super friendly and helpful throughout our journey, and took good care of my gf who got uncomfortable watching the sunrise in the cold wind. At Madakaripura he helped me keep my belongings from getting wet so that I can focus on the scenery. Thanks to him and the good weather we had an unforgettable journey in Surabaya. Would like to come again to visit Ijen and Sewu with this company if there is a chance.

The most beautiful sunrise ever

It was an unforgettable trip with a stunning view of Mount Bromo. The guide (Wardah) and the driver (Tomy) are cool local guides. Even though Wardah is fasting, she's willing to bring me a climb to the top of the Legenda Craterului Tengger. The tour started really early (23.30) for the sun rising in the next morning, It was a good decision due to avoiding crowned people and traffic on the top.

The experoence was incredible. Our guide Sham was brilliant. He explained us everything and made the trip easy and fun!

We did a private tour to Mt Bromo and Madakaripura Waterfall. Everything was perfectly organised. We could take whatever time we wanted at the respective places. The agency was very helpful whilst planning the trip via WA. But our personal highlight was our tour guide, Hreesang! His explanations and everything he knew was so insightful and perfect English somemore. He was prepared for everything even had a foil to cover ourselves from the cold! He was so good hearted and you felt that he loved what he did and with who he did it. A person who shines from within! He made the trip such a great experience and unforgettable!

The crew was super kind and we learned a lot about the cultural significance of the site and the culture of the village as well and the day was beautiful even with clouds 😊 I definitely would visit again with Trista and her team

Bromo sunrise and climb up vocalno mount

Great adventure. It take about 12 hours from mid night to next lunch time tomorrow. Looking for sunrise around 4:30 am and climb up the vocalno mount. Travel by jeep. Note: better to have face mask and full glasses because of dust during travelling.

Bromo Sunrise Tour with Arya

The sunrise tour was fantastic, we had Arya as our tour guide and he was incredibly hospitable and patient with us throughout the whole tour, ensuring that we were okay no matter what pace we were travelling at during the walk/hike. He took some amazing photos of us, that both myself and my wife were very happy with and will remember this tour always! Arya also took us to a 'secret' spot during the sunrise tour, ensuring we were right at the front, so we had a jaw-dropping view of bromo and got some great pictures of me and the Mrs without others in the picture All around, we had a brilliant experience and we are very thankful to Arya for making it the tour even more special.

Beautiful sunrise Mount Bromo

Amazing trip with our amazing guide Fikri who followed us from start to end. Very good communication which made us feel informed and taken care of, along with great conversations throughout the trip. Mt Bromo u Wasserfall Madakaripura with Guide Putri

Hi Vera, just a short review on the todays trip. My expectation was more than fullfilled👍. You send a very professional, goodlooking, guide😄. Putri is perfect. She has real good knowledge about the town Surabaya and the landscape, we visited. She knows all the vulkanos, surrounding Mt Bromo, even the altitude (high)👍. Positiv was, at the beginning, she explained the itinerary, duration, change of cars, breakfast etc.👍. For sunrise, she took me to a spot, where I had a very good sight. She, perfectly, took care of me. I had told her that I am scared about high (Höhenangst) and do have knee problems, not a friend of stairs. But together, slowly but shurely, we climbed the Mt Bromo. Also waterfall was a great experience. I never had the feeling being under pressure, following the itinerary. I had a real good time with her and was very satisfied and pleased, how we got through the day. Putri gets 5 of 5 warmly stars from me. I can highly recommend her. Amazing experience and an even better guide!

From start to finish, this tour was an unbelievable experience. Our guide, Akbar came energized and excited which made us look forward to the trip even more. We bonded over music on our drive over to the jeeps. Akbar was so accommodating, offering us valuable information and goodies along the way. He took us to the best coffee shop before leading us to the best possible viewpoint for sunrise. He even captured a few candid photos of us which he shared after the trip. We then headed to Bromo for a nice walk up to the top. Akbar stopped to make sure we were feeling good all the way through. At the top, he took some more great photos of us and explained the significance of the crater as well as its history. Once we returned to the jeep, he then led us to a great breakfast stop before heading back to our destination. Overall, this was one of the best experiences of our trip to Indonesia. Our guide was thoughtful, helpful, fun, and by the end we were fast friends! I highly recommend this tour to anyone who may be interested in a breathtaking experience of Mt Bromo.

Best view and best guide

The view was truly astonishing, even better of what I was expecting after looking at the pictures. I was lucky to get Pram as my guide, she told me so many things about Indonesian culture and she was kind and funny. She speaks reaaally well both english (and even Spanish), which is not at all easy to find. Highly recommended, moreover they fill you with food and go before the crowd like that you can enjoy the experience in the best way possible

Definitely Worth it to the Mount Bromo tour!

A little bit cold while wait for the sunrise, suggest to wear warm clothes. Overall, the tour is really good that the view is so fantastic and the tour guide is friendly, definitely worth visiting.

Amazing day with an amazing guide

We attended the 1 day Mount Bromo tour today, our guide Ikhsan contacted us prior to pick up to confirm our location and time, he arrived promptly, provided us with bottled water and explained what was going to happen on our tour. Once we arrived at the sunrise location we were provided with hot drinks and offered snacks, we arrived before a lot of groups meaning we were able to get a table before we walked to the sunrise location, Ikhsan ensured that we had the perfect spot to watch the sunrise away from a lot of the crowds which felt safe and peaceful and also allowing us to take some amazing photos. We were given as much time as we needed there until we moved onto the crater of Mount Bromo, we were given lots of information about the area and Mount Bromo itself by Ikhsan and he took so many amazing photos of us which I really appreciated. His friendly and funny character shone throughout the tour allowing us to enjoy our day. We then went for breakfast which was really tasty. We had one of the best days ever seeing this amazing place and really would like to thank Ikhsan for being such an amazing guide!

Experience of a lifetime

This was pretty much a last minute trip. And Rizky and team really did a great job organizing it. Did the Milky Way and Bromo sunrise and we started our trip from Surabaya at 9 PM. By midnight, we had reached the Bromo viewpoint and had the mountain to ourselves. The Milky Way and the Bromo sunrise pictures came out beautiful ! After that the drive and climb to Bromo was exhilarating. A major bucket list item checked off after I was able to do darshan of Ganesha at the summit of Mt Bromo. The Brahma temple at the base was beautiful and serene. 5 stars for Rizky. We even had great conversations about Indonesian history, culture and philosophy.

Bromo+Madakaripura waterfall The tour was amazing and we enjoyed a lot! our guide Pram was wonderful!! :-) In the Mount Penanjakan we had the best spot to see the sunrise and the mountain. Then we visited Volcano crater and we were one of the first to arrived, so we enjoyed the views with less tourists And the waterfall was incredible. Thank you very much for everything

Can’t be missed!

This was a fantastic tour by guide Rizky from Cheap Bromo. First they accommodated a change in date made necessary due to a canceled flight, with no hassle. We were picked up promptly at our hotel. Rizky knew exactly the right times and spots to go to see Mount Bromo in all of its glory. He had special knowledge of night sky photography and captured many jaw-dropping shots. Everything was very well planned and maximized the time we had. It was an unforgettable experience. Rizky and the driver also made great time delivering us to the airport so we could make our flight. Highly recommended all around!
