Had a great nighttime walk with our guide Andrew who was very friendly and personable. Interesting to hear about the history of Singapore and try out different foods in the hawker markets.

Great tour

Very educational and got to eat lots of food! Also, nice mix of walking indoors and outside. Worth it. I appreciate it how Ping took photos for us so we didn't need to worry about it. Dion is easy to talk to.

Superb evening tour!

Small group tour which was excellent! Plenty of opportunities to meet people on the tour which made the experience even better! Ping the tour guide was great and would definitely recommend to anyone else!

So much more than we expected- we loved it!

This tour was the best introduction we could have had on Day One in Singapore. Food, culture, stunning views around the city at night and knowledgable guides who made us feel so welcomed. Small group size meant we could all get to know each other. A fun & informative night.

Great Walking Tour but not enough food touring

We did the Night Hawkers Tour, which was a really fun evening and we would recommend to anyone keen on getting to know the city and its history a bit better in a fun way. Our tour guide was Richard, who was extremely energetic and funny but also very knowledgeable. I would say that if you are looking for a food tour, this is not necessarily the one as we only ate at 2 different places and limited types of food (We would have expected more variety given the variety of street food available in one place) and the 2 times we did sit down to eat it felt very rushed. Seeing that it is advertised as a food & nightlife walking tour we would have expected a 50/50 split but it was mostly about the history of the city and key spots and only little about food, which we were disappointed in. Having said this, if this is what you are looking for, it's perfect.

Excellent experience

Our Guide, Ping Yeo was excellent, she was very informative and we got a great tour. She answered all our questions with wonderful clarity . The food was very tasty and the sights were incredible. I can totally recommend Ms Ping Yeo, and Monster Day Tours.

A glimpse into Singapore and all its offerings

Richard Ong was an amazing guide for our tour, he is so knowledgeable about Singapores history, culture and food. Throughly enjoyed our tour and we met some great people too. 😊 Highly recommend 👌

A night well spent

Great food selection and interesting cultural stops. I enjoyed our guides insights as we went along. Only wish we could have gotten some kind of summary of what we ate so I knew what to get again later :)

Nice tour but don’t expect a lot of info about the food or Singapores food history

Enjoyed the tour but if you’re expecting a detailed account of the food and history of food in Singapore this tour only scratches the surface. It could be improved with more dialogue about the history of food in Singapore and the buildings that you pass during the tour (lots of beautiful buildings that a 2 minute stop to explain their history would make this tour a 5

Fantastic insight to Singapore and wonderful food.

Fantastic insight into a wonderful city. Our guide, Bryan was friendly and knowledgeable. The street food was brilliant and we now know about places we would never have found. Can’t wait to visit Singapore again and try another Monster tour!

Evening walking tour

Singapore Night walking food tour with Ping and Dionne was excellent! A full three and a half hours of information and sightseeing. Lots of food to sample. They were attentive to everyone’s needs. Thanks for a great evening!

Great food good summary of the history of Singapore

Ping was an amazing tour guide. Our tour was informative and amazing. It was good to get the history of Singapore from a local and experience a vast array of food. Ping took time to find out what our group was interested in and pivoted the tour to ensure we heard about our personal interests. Would highly recommend especially if Ping is the guide.

Take this tour! You won't regret it!

I had a wonderful experience with MDT! Ping was so engaging and knowledgeable. I learned so much about the history of Singapore and its culture in three hours than I would've read in books for three days!

☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars first time doing a food tour. Ping is very knowledgeable, helpfully and friendly. We got to try many different foods. It's was more then the food the walking tour history we wouldn't have visit many of the places if not for the tour.

Food was great, Ping was an amazing tour guide

Our tour guide (Ping) was amazing! The tour took the designated 3.5 hours because Ping not only took us to great food spots, but also took us through different areas/buildings and spoke about their history as well her personal connection to the history of some of those locations. She was passionate, funny, engaging, and helpful (even helping some of us find our way home after the tour)! The food we tried was amazing, and I definitely fell into a food coma when I got home with the amount that was offered :)

Amazing tour with great guides

We can really highly recommend this tour. The guide Richard and Dion as facilitator were really great. They made the tour to a perfect event. They explained many facts about Singapore in a really exciting way. During the two food stops very good food was served and it was more then we were able to eat. Overall this made it a perfect evening for us.

Amazing Food Tour + Views of Singapore

I participated in the Street Food and Night Tour of Singapore yesterday. There were probably 10 of us with our guide, James and Cecilia. The meeting point was easy to find. James was enthusiastic about Singapore and was full of energy throughout the tour. He took us to 2 different places to sample some of the delicious foods of Singapore & told us about the history. It was really crowded but so fun. We even went to a 5 star hotel toilet followed by a beautiful light show by the bay. The pace of the walking tour was quite fast so I recommend that you put on a pair of comfortable shoes and of course empty stomach. Thank you James and Cecilia once again for being so attentive and accommodating!

Delicious Food tour

Ping was an excellent and well organised guide. While we did some sightseeing in Chinatown, her helper Megan, would go ahead to arrange main course dishes and seats at Lau pa Sat followwed by lots of photostops at iconic night time places with lovely views. Finally, dessert at Gluttons bay. All the food was delicious and we enjoyed our tojr very much. Thanks to Ping and Megan

A lovely to discover various aspects of Singapore by night

It was very nice to sample lovely local food, to hear about the history of Singapore and to see famous landmarks as well as the skyline. Ping was very efficient and attentive. She also took loads of (group) pictures to help us to keep memories of our tour.

Great tour and great tour guide!

Great tour, Linda was very informative and a great guide. Learnt a lot and saw things we would probably not have found on our own. Would highly recommend.

Great evening with Linda touring us around Singapore at night. Some good food and plenty of it at two hawker centres with lots of walking and info inbetween!

We had a fantastic tour with Ping! She made the difference of the tour with so much historical knowledge ! The tour was a great way to view singapore in a way you may not do alone with details that would be missed without such a great tour guide. I would reccomend this tour ☺️

Had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide was Ping and she was very knowledgeable and interesting. I really enjoyed her stories. There was a lot of food and lots of new things to try. It gave us many ideas for new things to have in the future. Would definitely recommend. It was great to see another side to Singapore.

A Must Do Experience For Any Foodie

The Singapore night and food tour was an incredible experience. I highly recommend for anyone visiting. Our tour guide Ping was very knowledgeable and insightful with the history of Singapore, the culture, and its food. I came away with so much more information than another company’s tour taken of the same area the previous day. Come hungry as there were so many delicious dishes to sample and you definitely don’t want to miss out.

Amazing tour by night with a friendly guide!

The tour was amazing! We got to try several typical dishes and desserts. Linda, our tour guide, was super friendly and showed us great secret spots to enjoy the view and the night show at marina bay sands!

Night time food tour Singapore

This is as much about! He history of Singapore as it as about the range of food in Singapore and I found that really interesting Ping our guide was excellent. She brought the information to life and the food was great too, as were the group of many different nationalities. If you want to try a range of Singaporean food like laksa noodles satay and more with some walking ,seeing the sites and lots of Instagram photos , this is the tour for you.

Amazing walking food tour of Singapore

Ping was an amazing guide incorporating history of Singapore into the tour which made it incredibly memorable. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends or anyone who has a short amount of time in Singapore to really get a taste of the culture in a short amount of time.

The perfect introductory tour to Singapore

The foods were amazing, the guided tour was very fun and informative, and the views walking through the Marina Bay Area at night was so beautiful!

Bryan was an excellent guide taking is through bits of Singapore history along with personal tidbits of what things looked like during the 80s. Had thought the food would be small tastings, no, its full meals and plenty of it

Great Tour

Great foodie tour sampling the different cuisines of Singapore. Our tour guides Pam and Isaac took us to a Hawker Center for an authentic dining experience ~ the food tasted as good as it looked! Afterwards we visited the bay across from Marina Bay for a spectacular light show.

So informative and delicious food

Great tour. Advice… take it.

What a great evening this was, easy to find at meet up point. Bryan was very friendly and informative about Singapore and answered any questions. We were shown things we hadn’t seen before and tasted great food and drinks at the hawker markets. If you haven’t the confidence to try the hawker markets alone, this is a great compromise. Also the other people on the tour were great to talk to whilst walking. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Interesting information and great food

Great way to check out the local food as well as some of the history of Singapore. Food was so tasty and there was plenty of it. Bryan provided an interesting and informative narrative of Singapore and was able to answer all our questions. Would definitely recommend!

Food is culture!

This was a great introduction to Singapore for us having arrived just three hours prior. Richard gave excellent and succinct history highlights. The food selections were all explained in cultural context and a good assortment. Walking between places was well guided and our group was fun and well-traveled. We loved it!
