Premium lounge

I departed for Central Japan on a flight with ZipAir at Terminal One. As we were early, I went with my brother in law to have our late dinner at this airport lounge. As a premier banking member with OCBC, I enjoy the beneft of being a dragonpass holder to have free access to Plaza Premium lounges twice a year. Alternatively, I can bring along a guest and enjoy the 2 hour omplimentary access. I thus brought along my brother in law from Melaka who also followed me for the tour to Central Japan. This is not the first time I visit this lounge at Terminal One. But I always like the wide varieties of sumptous local food. I got Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, curry chicken and a cup of latte for my brother in law and I have some cold dessert dishes, fish fillets and a cup of green tea. I found the staff were very courteous and helpful and the lounge very conducive. I enjoyed the great food here. Keep up the good name and reputation of a premium airport lounge at Changi Airport. You deserve all the good reviews.

Lounge was at full...

Lounge was at full capacity and could not get a seat. Sat in dining area selection of food was not great . Disappointed with the lounge . We paid good money for a poor service

Save your money.... not worth it!

Arrived 18.4.24 tired at 9pm to find it busier than the rest free areas in the airport. Food is tasteless and free alcohol is gatekept by 1 bar tender who is also out collecting glasses. Family of 3 ended up perched in tiny single booths in hot lounge, jam packed with people. Even air con is warm! 😡

Goog lounge

This is a very good lounge with delicious food. And Ang the lady from the bar is so nice. I had a long conversation with her.

Awaiting detailed information

I find the information about the lounge confusing. Some guests say beer and wine was included and do not say about other drinks like whisky etc. Then some say that its a la carte have to pay for food. Mr. Tan kindly give us some detailed clear information. thank you awaiting your response.

Don’t

Crowded, dated, power outlets broken . Food average. Not good value. Didn’t look like the pictures. Was cheaper to pay at counter than book online .

Welcoming

Staff was helpful. Ms Eng was also very lively and recommended me to try Singapore Sling. Going inside the lounge was fast.

A comfortable escape from the terminal.

A nice comfortable place to sit away from the hustle of the main terminal. The showers were clean and welcome after a day of sightseeing. Food options are healthy with an alacarte option. Friendly staff too which makes the lounge inviting.

A great way to spend time waiting for my flight!

Best Singapore sling by Eng at bar..!! Sweet and delicious and the service was friendly also.. Big smile and extra alcohol in my drink lol

A new experience to a new drinks

A very friendly bar tender, ms Eng recommended The Singapore sling, an alcoholic drinks only available in Singapore. Thanks for recommendation. It is truly yummy and I will definitely visit again.

Singapore Sling at Plaza Lounge

We love the Plaza Lounge and use it whenever we are transiting Singapore. Today I tried the Singapore Sling made by Eng Hwee (which does incur an extra charge) but it was delicious and as good as a Raffles Sling at a fraction of the price!

Good lounge. Eng is good fun at the bar. Tiger beer on draft included. Also have hot food and shower facilities. All staff great

A great lounge experience!

A very comfortable, clean and quiet lounge. The Singapore Sling cocktail by lovely bartender Eng is a must-have! Worth a visit.

Never again.

Can you believe there was mosquitoes. Mosquitoes in airport VIP lounge. We were there for 5 hours and we paid for it. Not safe to be honest. On top of that. Their chef. Such a rude person. Full of attitude. Like we are begging for food and he is giving us for free. Such an arrogant person. Attached his pic. He should not be behind the counter. He should be in the kitchen. Plz place someone who server customers with smile.

Extremely crowdwd airport lounge with room for improvement please

Crowded with all seats (except dinning tables) already taken, even in early morning. Hot food offering was rather dismal and disapppinting in terms of quality and variety. And the quantity of dishes was little. Chicken rice was rather bland but perhaps I had higher expectations for Plaza Premium Lounge . Staff could be more friendly and smile a bit as they are good ambassadors for Singapore. But maybe because it was too early morning hours to be bright and chirpy. Free for me (and one guest) under my Priority Pass.

A great stop off - before you fly!

Very poor

Over priced, for what you get to much lightning in the resting area seat we’re uncomfortable definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. In fact already told my travelling friends not to go there.

Great food OK experience

The food is amazing. I sample the hainanese chicken rice and Singapore laksa. The best laksa I ever tasted. However the seating arrangement is not very comfortable. They reserve big round tables and sofa for family of 4. So for other people like a couple you can only sit side by side with a very small side table to place your food. Non alcoholic drinks are also very limited in varities. The only complimentary alcohol is 3 brands of beer and white wine. Anything else, like spirit or whisky, are all at additional costs. I use many other Priority lounges in the world. I think this one must be the most stingy in serving of alcohol.

Nice lounge but limited food variety! (Plaza Lounge T1)

The lounge is located at Terminal 1 Level 3 (located above Transfer C area) and is very convenient to access via the skytrain. Upon disembarkation from the skytrain, walk out and take the escalator up and will reach the lounge. As we have tried other lounges in our previous trips, we decided to visit this lounge (though our checked-in terminal was T3). The lounge is cosy and nice, bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. And there are seats and tables that offer a good runway view, where visitors can have a direct and unblock view of taxiing, landing and taking off aircrafts. Awesome! In terms of food wise, honestly, the spread was quite limited which shouldn't be the case especially for the fee-paying visitors. On the day of our visit, there was spaghetti, laksa and chicken rice, porridge, with some salad and some bread and apparently, that's all. Having said that, the foods were generally nice and yummy. The chicken rice was nice and laksa was good. The latter was prepared by the chef on the spot and unlike the Sats lounge where everything was placed there and you DIY yourself. Of course, there's freeflow of beers, softdrinks, juices and hot beverages like coffee. Unfortunately, there wasn't any fresh fruits or tidbits like nuts or it would be perfect. Service by staff was good, they were polite and efficient in clearing the used plates and utensils regularly. If you are looking for a wide spread of food, you may be disappointed but if you are going after good quality food, then this is the place to go! Just the food and plane viewing is already worth the visit!

Good experiance

This was a very nice comfortable lounge. The food option could have been better . Never realised there was a spa attached to this lounge otherwise would have used this

A peaceful sanctuary

Had a 6 hour slot to wait for connections picked the lounge to chill in .and we did very clean comfy seat nice staff. Always cleaning a gd choice of drinks hot and cold nice areas to work or eat too. Nice salad bar and some hot foods. All gd choices some of hot food only warm but don't be deterred a very lovely chilled way to begin a journey thanks.

The airport is better, waste of money for lounge !!

Not worth the money, uncomfortable is not the word ! Very small and overcrowded ! Very expensive, the proce is not worth it

Lounge visit

Visited the lounge. Eng from the Bar is very friendly and serve a good Singapore Sling cocktail. Definitely will visit again soon !

Mae you have the best preflight lounge!

Look for Mae! She had helped us shuffling our luggage around and even tried to accommodate us to sit together while the airport lounge was fully booked! She went out of her way to make sure everybody in our party was ready for our long journeys back. Been to so many lounges, but Mae really made the Plaza Premium Lounge shine at Changi!

Too crowded and noisy.

The restroom was not cleaned. The food was terrible. The employees were really rude. Some chinese talked really loud constantly.

Life saver

The easy arm chairs and foot stool made it so comfortable and easy to catnap The food provide was enough and there was a choice of something light or a heavier meal. I loved having an option of fresh fruit. And the price was a great deal.. thank-you .

Extra helpful staff. Perfect location to wait between flights.

My son had a 6 hour layover in Singapore, which was extra tricky because of he was on crutches with a fractured ankle. The staff went out of their way to make him welcome and help him to collect food and water. We are very grateful for the excellent service here, highly recommended.

Priority Pass Select & Amex Plat - Was told I had to pay another 24 SGD to use the shower. Also no free drinks, poor food, rude front desk. All round a pretty terrible lounge and I've done a lot of them. Better just to wander around in the airport which has wifi and better places to sit.

learning experience! Food not good poor selection, Cold drinks were warm, Choice to have made 3 items & only one had flavor! Salad bar small & not very good! Coffee no Creamer & lacked choices! Seating was ok but several of the electrical outlets didn't work! Noisy & not relaxing, wife & I paid for 2 6 hrs & left after 4, more comfortable in the airport terminals & different restaurant's! The cubical they show you are just for Family with 4 or more & the rest of the seating isn't all that nice! For me I'll never go do that again, But like I said I take it as a learning experience & won't waste my money without really doing more research! The only thing that i'll say tasted ok was the Singapore Laksa and classic Singapore Chicken Rice that they tell you they serve!

Best airport lounge at Changi Terminal 1

This is probably the best airport lounge at T1 Departure at Changi. Friendly staff, wide selection of beverages and hot food offered. Clean, comfortable lounge with plenty of seats. Nice ambiance. I wish the chef could be more engaging and give a little smile while serving.

Great place

Great place with a nice view. Unlimited Tiger beer, white/red wine. Staff was really positive and helpful especially Eng taking care of the bar :) Both chicken curry and fish were tasty.

Not worth it..

The lounge was somewhat overcrowded, and the selection of food dismal! The salad bar was basically tinned food, certainly should try harder. Bathroom ran out of soap and loo paper.

Good service

Was quite busy but the staff took very good care of us, finding us a nice private spot to relax while waiting for our next flight, salad bar and snacks were very good. The Christmas enspired drinks Eng made for us were delicious too!!

Jen is my hero! Outstanding customer service

Had an excellent experience - especially because of the kindness and extra help from the wonderful Jen Ho. I am currently pregnant and she made sure I had pregnancy safe food to eat and even helped us find a good spot for a sleep and rest during a long and late night stop over. She came and checked on us regularly and really went the extra mile. 11/10 for service! Thank you Jen!
